Great service. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Room condition is very good. Very clean. The break fast is just awesome. It would be great if they open the restaurant all the time for the hotel guests.
Hotel is basic, in need of a make over but clean. Unfortunately we were given a twin room as a couple and they wouldn't change us as the night we arrived the hotel was full. It would appear only for the first night though as didn't spy a single person again until the 2nd last night when two coach fulls arrived! Restaurant was closed until the coach party's arrived so we ate out each night. Plenty cheap places around if u like Chinese, pizza or kebab. Staff were friendly enough and although the bar never appeared open on our 3rd night we asked at reception and were given drinks. Staff weren't very forthcoming with info re the area nor the services in the hotel (probably as everything was shut) air conditioning didn't appear to work and every time the cleaners came in they closed our window which meant it was way too hot at night times when trying to sleep. The area around the hotel feels dirty and run down but never felt unsafe as some reviews had suggested- guess it's like any town and has rougher areas around. We did however never go out after 11 pm any night. Rat bait boxes around makes it feel dirtier but I believe this is because they still don't have wheels bins like in the U.K.! A great place for a drink after dinner in the evenings is cru bar which is located down beside the b&b hotel - prices okay and get some uk beers and a great cocktail, they appear to put on a food spread also for anyone drinking in an evening time! DO NOT waste your time finding the English bar it's so not what u expect and after one drink we left there as it did feel unsafe!! The area is daunting when you first arrive as there is not much around, when we tried the metro machine to get to duomo and the shops we gave up the first day and got a taxi to central for 22euros which wasn't ideal and took the sight seeing bus from there. If you need to use the metro go to the newsagent and ask for a ticket, 1.60 euros per ticket 1 ticket will take you to any metro stop and u can get off and on as many times as you like for 90minutes - if getting off at duomo for the day you need two tickets. Duomo is lovely, Milan visitor centre I believe it the metro stop 2 or 3 after duomo where u can book trips to the outlets etc, would highly recommend the day trip to the Swiss alps at this time of year while the snow is still on the alps. All in all done Milan, ticked it off the list but doubt I would go back and a week was too long in this hotel!!
Stayed here 7/3/17 to 9/3/17 Decent enough hotel for the price we paid, staff were pleasant. Room was a bit outdated but wasn't really expecting much. Now for the Big let down...we arrived late on Tuesday got there about 9:30pm we were checked in, went up to our room then decided to wind down by going for a drink in the hotel bar,we went down and asked the barman if we could have a drink he said yes, I ordered a vodka (cheap brand) and sprite my bf order Amaretto &a sprite (branded) then we asked how much he's said no no it's fine, then as we got our drinks the receptionist came to us and asked what number room we were in so we figured it would be charged to our room fine.... on checking out the receptionist said to us that we had to pay for city tax (which we already knew) and one round at the bar...ok! He gave us the bill city tax €8 total then for 2 drinks they charged us €36 for 2 drinks we were appalled and couldn't believe how they could do that we asked the receptionist if it was for only 2 drinks and he said yes. Then when we questioned it his English suddenly was non existent...it let our entire stay down and we're very disappointed and will not recommend or return to this hotel as they seem to think by charging drinks to our room they can charge whatever they like. Think it is extremely unfair. Before checking out we were very pleased to be going home with €120 then to be charged €44 at the last minute when our city tax only came to €8 was unreasonable to say the least. Very annoyed
Stayed 13th to the 17th of Feb 2017. First off like to say the staff are brilliant really friendly and welcoming at reception. On arrival we was checked in swiftly and given a free upgrade to a king size bed/suite which was room 515. Very clean room with a great bathroom and shower. Decor was a bit out dated but non the less it didn't take anything away from the room or our stay. The hotel is about a 10 min walk from sesto Mareli metro station and then roughly 10/15 mins from central station. €1.50pp a journey which is cheap if you ask me! Also from central station there is a bus that runs to malpensa airport every 20 mins taking roughy 45 mins and costing €8pp one way. We would recommend this hotel to people who are not bothered about a walk or not staying in the centre of milan. Make sure to check out the duomo ! Hotel is a three star to us.
We had a 3 night break Thur to Sun. This hotel is not 4 star as we know it. Room was reasonable, pretty clean and fresh with clean bedding. Breakfast was OK and staff were willing to please. Hotel is a good 20 min ride on the excellent and cheap Metro out from the centre of Milan which is not ideal plus a 10 min walk, not a quick nip back to your hotel. Front of shop are happy enough to help but missed our early morning call on our last morning. Bar was a bit painful had to ask at reception who sent someone round to get drinks. Restaurant not open while we were there.
The hotel was quite poor, with an outdated room and a shower with mold! Choice for breakfast was poor and the buns were old. The staff was also unfriendly and not helpful at all. The hotel requested us to pay for wifi, upon the wifi receipt we noticed the free wifi was crossed out, but they still requested 1 € per day per device.
At the outskirt of Milan you can find a hotel were you can stay for a reasonnable price and, very important, well reachable by metro from Milan centre. For us it was a shortstay. Nice room with a good bed and shower. Breakfast was to Italian std (my opinion) extended and sufficient. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so we had to go elswere. We got a tip from the receptionist for a Japoneese/Chinees restaurant just around the corner. Although the hotel is situated nearby an airport and is enclosed by busy streets, that didn't disturbe us.
Position is Very good , 6 min away of Sesto Marelli Metro Station. Staff at hotel very good. Breakfast is good. City tax per person per night is 2 euro. I have paid 54 euro per night for twin room, this is a very good price for this hotel.
Can't really complain about hotel. Situated 10 minutes walk from the nearest Metro station, which takes you to the centre of Milan in approximately 15-20 minutes. Found the staff to be polite and helpful. Room slightly dated but very clean and everything in room worked.
The area really run down But hotel quite nice nothing special Staff were very nice Ideal for short break and cheaper than the expensive and over the top prices of central Milan Easy to use the subway and tickets really cheap compared to London
