I normally don’t care about noise as I live in a busy city centre where I’m from. I write this on my second night in this hotel, the room next to me is making so much noise having full on loud conversations in French about who cares what because it’s 2am. All yesterday until midnight and all today/this evening/right now I have to listen to their TV, their relentless loud talk and literally making noises and shouting, slamming stuff around their room etc. Now you will say this isn’t the fault of the hotel, but it is, we told them 6 Times over two days now that the noise is ridiculous at all times of day and we cannot sleep or relax with the random shouting, slamming of objects/doors and going up and down the hall. They did not apologize and they wouldn’t change our room for us, or take any meaningful action to punish these guys other than calling their room every so often to ask them to keep it down. They literally laugh out loud after being told to be quiet because I can hear when the phone rings. Very disappointed in the staff and their complete lack of responsibility. The walls are PAPER thin and unless you have respectful guests either side of you, you are in for a long night. The breakfast in the morning was ok, but this hotel is more like a hostel and not a very good one. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, wont be staying here again.
Staff was very professional and the doorman always had a great smile for us. Close to the the Metro, and buses and trams everywhere. Short walk to the Duomo and many attractions. Room was very clean. Typical European size. Breakfast was fine.
We arrived today, during fashion week. There were people EVERYWHERE!!! This hotel is extremely professional and polite. The rooms are massive!!!! The bathroom has a shower, dibet, large bath and toilet. The bed is king size and the pillows are comfortable. Breakfast is included. A traditional American style breakfast. It is walking distance to all manger attentions.
A nice boutique hotel with super location, within 10 mins walk, and you can reach Duomo. The staff is helpful and nice. The night shift receptionist always gave us happy jokes when we returned to hotel at night. He is very humorous. The facilities are basic but if you compare the price and the location, it is a great choice.
This hotel was perfect for our 5 days in beautiful Milan. Hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly, rooms were cleaned daily. We had no complaints what so ever...we are a very picky couple who like everything to a high standard & this hotel didn't fail to disappoint! Beds very comfy too...ace remote control blackout blinds too which aids in a very restful nights sleeps! We would not hesitate to use this hotel on our next visit, we found Milan very beautiful with plenty of hidden gems. Hairdryer, fridge, shower cap, shower gel if you are travelling lite.
Located on a quiet area but a 5 min walk to the Duomo. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom seem to be renovated recently, modern and convenient. Service was friendly, specially the day porter. Breakfast was good.
Took the single room. It is well equipped with everything I need. Probably better if there a electric kettle provided. Room is clean and tidy everyday. The staff arranged everything neatly, usually I have seen many staff don't tidy up the desk when they see that you have placed things on the desk but this hotel does which ia good. Location of hotel is good, in between navigli district and duomo area (about 10-15mins). I pretty much walked to most places. Breakfast is ok. Nothing fabulous but ok. Will stay here again if I ever come back to Milan
The night receptionist Mr Ziang is rude, interrupts every conversation, has no empathy and is generally a poor representation of your hotel. I have sent a complaint through the contacts page as he would not call a night manager or listen to any issues that are down to the hotel. When I tried to explain that I needed to have wifi access to speak to my husband who is in hospital in the UK he told me that there was nothing he could do and threatened to call the police if I didn't "go away"!!! Whilst I appreciate that there is little that could be done at this time, telling me I didn't even seem as if I wanted to speak to my husband (from an open reception area as this was the only choice) and that I should "go away" again and then refusing to even have a conversation with me (in a calm manner) is appalling. I have stayed here before but will NEVER recommend this hotel to either my colleagues or anyone else in the future purely due to Mr Ziang. Really interested to see if I get a response!!!
I have been in this hotel for the first time in 1959, as a child with my family... I have been there many more times since, mainly due to what I have written in the title of this review: It is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the Piazza del Duomo; it is clean; it is very friendly and its staff are very helpful; its rooms are rather comfortable and relatively well maintained (in the course of the time they had been renovated several times); breakfast is nice and quite rich compared to other similar level hotels I have seen around the world - and, most important, throughout our stay we had nothing to complain about... Areas for improvement: A coffee/tea set in the room could be nice - and so would be some fresh vegetables at breakfast... Small things that could make a difference...
Room was clean albeit the air con did not work and decor was generally a bit shabby. Bar was intermittent. One night staff chose to open it the other night they couldn't be bothered. OK location. Bar across road was OK.
