Our room was nice and comfortable, big bathroom and fairly quiet. Morning reception staff were lovely and accommodating but afternoon/evening staff less so. Particularly rude male receptionist who didn't help me book a taxi or a restaurant. I was being polite and friendly but he didn't want to help out and rolled his eyes when I asked him to call the restaurant. I'm sure the rest of the staff are lovely, either I caught him in a bad moment or he's not professional or friendly. Generally very easy to get to Central Milan from hotel though with the metro just 2 minutes walk away. Other than the one male receptionist who couldn't be bothered, nice hotel.
The staff is very friendly. Check-in was really fast (also the check-out) The room is Ok. Not to big, but also not to small. The television is put a bit highly on the wall. at first I did not noticed it, and thought I've had the wrong room.... but I was the right one. The bed is a bit hard, but I had a good night sleep. Because of the high temperature in Milan I had hoped the air conditioner was on when I entered the room. But is was off, so it was to hot in the room. The airco is not capable to cool the room completely . You can not change the flow of the air conditioning. Therefore I needed to have in on all the time. The airco is a bit noisy. Specially the external unit was making a lot of noise. When I left the room, I left the airco running. But when I came back. It was turned off. So the room was warm again. I'm not sure why, but when a returning customer keeps the airco running, I would not turn it off. In the bathroom there was a strange smell. I'm not sure where it came from. Also when using the shower you have to stand in the bathtub, but that's ok. Only the "curtains" in the shower could not prevent to let a lot of water flow on the bathroom floor. Breakfast is good. There is a lot to choose from. Only when something is out, the item will not always returns. The coffee machine also provides hot water for tea But always a bit of coffee is dripping into the hot water. If you drink tea, you don't like some coffee in your water.
Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2017 and had a lovely time. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didnt eat here as we wanted to experience the local restaurants. Great parking facilities which we recommend for your stay. Room was basic but clean and air conditioned.
the rooms are small. cold. small showers and no baths. had room for bed and a small suitcase only. hotel personal not friendly. At most a motel. Not a 4 star. breakfast small can impressive. Do not stay here unless you need a clean room with nothing more.
The location is good, in 20 minutes every sightseeing place could be easily reached. The triple bed room was really old-fashioned. The air conditioning didn't work well, it didn't heated at all. The walls were not propre. The bathroom was okay but toilet seat smelled like piss it was totally discolored, horrible. The breakfast was average, the sausages and scrambled eggs were mixed with the leftovers from the previous day. I don't recommend this hotel.
Location of the hotel is not suited for people looking to tour the city ,but hotel staff were extremely informative and friendly. Metro lines are located near and shuttle bus from airport is also a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
We stayed there while attending the Milan Furniture fair because most of the cities hotels were sold out. Located very need the old fair grounds, this small hotel has small but very clean rooms. A limited breakfast buffet is included. The staff is very friendly and courteous.
I stayed on business trip for 4 days in this hotel in Feb 2017. A little deceptive from outside - looks a little dated - but room are pretty good. Breakfast was included and they had a decent variety of things. Location is good since Portello Metro station is very close by, but since the hotel is in a business type area, do not expect nice places to eat, walk nearby. Do not expect other niceties like fitness center, restaurant inside hotel, etc. Just a good place to stay for a business trip, I would say.
A nice 4 star hotel with clean rooms, knowledgeable staff if you're visiting for the first time, complete continental breakfast. Although rooms were a bit small but still they have done a great job with the bed setting, although the room lacked kettle n coffee. Subway was just right across the corner, hardly 5 mins walk from the hotel, but if a bit far-off from the main city centre. I would recommend this to anyone who is traveling as a couple without kids.
I wanted a place close to the congress center to have little burdem in the morning and to get easily to the congress center. This place is very close but nothing you would like to live in for several days during a congress. The hotel is certainly not worth to be claimed a 4 start hotel. The rooms are old-fashioned. You need to turn the lock after you have entered the room, otherwise it is open and can be entered by anyone. The breakfast room looks like a train hall and not even to coffee is good ( as you would have expected from an Italian hotel). There are better 4 star hotels close by. I would recommend watching out for those when you plan to attend a congress in Milan.
