What I liked a lot from my stay there was the friendly and helpful staff and cleaning of the rooms.Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choices. It's a good location-two metrostations nearby.Note that there are not a lot of places to have a dinner at this locations. Also, there was a very strong smell from the toilet in my room all time.I was expecting at least coffee and iron in the room for the price.
I stayed here on a recent holiday. First thing I would say is, although this is a lovely little hotel it is not in the centre of Milan, so if you are on holiday I would consider something closer if you are not inclined to a little commute. Having said that, it is easy to get into Milan and takes less than 10 minutes by Metro (which is easy to work out and cheap and runs until 12.30 at night). Beyond that downside, I have to say it is comfortable and covers the needs for any hotel. The staff are friendly and very helpful and took time to help us work out where to go and how to get there. The rooms themselves are comfortable, tidy and well equipped. The breakfast was good and always looked and tasted fresh; however, I would say options for vegetarians are limited. Overall it is a nice hotel, well suited for business trips (next to a conference centre) and if you don't mind using the Metro and feel confident then great to get into Milan easily (also cheaper than central hotels). I would visit this hotel again.
Came to Milan for a conference and was promptly assigned this hotel by the sponsoring industrial party. The sponsors declared that they were giving me a 4-star accommodation. Stayed four nights. 1) The location was out of the town centre, and if not for the Convention Centre about 10 minutes walk away I would have protested. As it was, the hotel was out of the main scene when it came to visiting Milan, although it was near the loop runs made by the "Hop On Hop Off" buses. Similarly, there were not many good restaurants within walking distance. The Portello underground metro was nearby though and it must be stated here that this is likely the nearest hotel to the Convention Centre thus making it a convenient base if you are a delegate 2) There were two room options and both were small. Room lighting was a little dim and furnishing, basic. Mine had no coffee making facility and so I ambled down to the ground floor where there were vending machines for both hot and cold drinks. 3) The bathroom was incredibly tight-spaced. Hot water supply can sometimes cut off intermittently during morning showers presumably when several taps are turned on during the same period. Time your baths to be either a little earlier than normal or a little later. Using this timing I had no problems after the first day 4) The breakfast spread, though very basic, was sufficient. The dining room itself was a neat affair on the ground floor with well-spaced tables and seats 5) WiFi was fair, with middling speed and a few erratic stops. 6) The counter staff were friendly and helpful, putting one at ease immediately
Our room was nice and comfortable, big bathroom and fairly quiet. Morning reception staff were lovely and accommodating but afternoon/evening staff less so. Particularly rude male receptionist who didn't help me book a taxi or a restaurant. I was being polite and friendly but he didn't want to help out and rolled his eyes when I asked him to call the restaurant. I'm sure the rest of the staff are lovely, either I caught him in a bad moment or he's not professional or friendly. Generally very easy to get to Central Milan from hotel though with the metro just 2 minutes walk away. Other than the one male receptionist who couldn't be bothered, nice hotel.
The staff is very friendly. Check-in was really fast (also the check-out) The room is Ok. Not to big, but also not to small. The television is put a bit highly on the wall. at first I did not noticed it, and thought I've had the wrong room.... but I was the right one. The bed is a bit hard, but I had a good night sleep. Because of the high temperature in Milan I had hoped the air conditioner was on when I entered the room. But is was off, so it was to hot in the room. The airco is not capable to cool the room completely . You can not change the flow of the air conditioning. Therefore I needed to have in on all the time. The airco is a bit noisy. Specially the external unit was making a lot of noise. When I left the room, I left the airco running. But when I came back. It was turned off. So the room was warm again. I'm not sure why, but when a returning customer keeps the airco running, I would not turn it off. In the bathroom there was a strange smell. I'm not sure where it came from. Also when using the shower you have to stand in the bathtub, but that's ok. Only the "curtains" in the shower could not prevent to let a lot of water flow on the bathroom floor. Breakfast is good. There is a lot to choose from. Only when something is out, the item will not always returns. The coffee machine also provides hot water for tea But always a bit of coffee is dripping into the hot water. If you drink tea, you don't like some coffee in your water.
Stayed here for 2 nights in May 2017 and had a lovely time. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didnt eat here as we wanted to experience the local restaurants. Great parking facilities which we recommend for your stay. Room was basic but clean and air conditioned.
the rooms are small. cold. small showers and no baths. had room for bed and a small suitcase only. hotel personal not friendly. At most a motel. Not a 4 star. breakfast small can impressive. Do not stay here unless you need a clean room with nothing more.
The location is good, in 20 minutes every sightseeing place could be easily reached. The triple bed room was really old-fashioned. The air conditioning didn't work well, it didn't heated at all. The walls were not propre. The bathroom was okay but toilet seat smelled like piss it was totally discolored, horrible. The breakfast was average, the sausages and scrambled eggs were mixed with the leftovers from the previous day. I don't recommend this hotel.
Location of the hotel is not suited for people looking to tour the city ,but hotel staff were extremely informative and friendly. Metro lines are located near and shuttle bus from airport is also a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
We stayed there while attending the Milan Furniture fair because most of the cities hotels were sold out. Located very need the old fair grounds, this small hotel has small but very clean rooms. A limited breakfast buffet is included. The staff is very friendly and courteous.
