Excellent, convenient place to stay. Across the street from the Milan train station. About a 30 minute taxi ride to/from LIN, Linate Airport. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. We had a full quick breakfast at 7am and the staff arranged for a 7:30am taxi to meet us in front of the hotel.
only stayed here to meet up with some friends who had chasten an Air BNB n area and needed easy access from Malpensa airport (make sure you validate your ticket at top of escalator at airport before going to platform/train) and to Lake Como by train, and if visiting Milan again would stay likely stay elsewhere. Army stationed 24/7 outside in station piazza was slightly disconcerting and as in most major cities areas around main stations are not the best. Plus side was the great breakfast with a view, very nice staff, decent enough room quiet and rear facing, air con was activated from reception in October and adjusted in our room with some TV noise from neighbouring room. For three days it was fine as base and very easy for metro, tram and main trains.
This hotel is a very very basic hotel. No frills. It’s not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, but it’s not one of the best. Very overpriced for what you get. I think though, you are paying for the convenient location which makes sense. The positives. The breakfast included with your room is excellent! Great views where the breakfast room is and the choices are fantastic. When I was able to have breakfast I really enjoyed it! The breakfast staff were lovely too. The hotel is very convenient to the metro, and trans but is also across the piazza from Milano Centrale Train Station. It is a convenient location. Aircon worked well thankfully as it was very very hot, there was a little fridge in the room, and reception staff are reasonably friendly. Ok the negatives. The reliability of the wifi in my opinion was unacceptable. In the 6 nights I stayed there it continued to disconnect after 5 minutes or not connect at all. It was incredibly frustrating. The only time I could get a connection was when I went to the reception area and then it would cut out again. I mentioned it to them a few times and was told “there’s nothing we can do about that”. Travellers rely on good wifi connections. There are no extra amenities. Eg. No cutlery etc. I ordered uber eats one night and I couldn’t even get access to a fork to eat my dinner as the restaurant had not provided me with cutlery. The hallways absolutely stunk of smoke. I was in a non smoking room but I round leave my room and the smell of smoke was shears very strong. The elevators were very slow. Shower was too small. I could barely fit into it. Every time I’d move my arms I’d turn the tap off. My bed was also extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast should be earlier. Out of my six nights, I could only have breakfast twice. I had tours starting at 7.30 and I had to get a metro to the meeting point so I had to miss out on the breakfast most days. Potential traveller commitments should be taken into consideration as tourists will often book in day tours. It would have been good to just have been able to grab a croissant or piece of fruit before I left. The hotel while convenient is not in the safest area. There are very shady characters who are in the area constantly. I never felt safe at night but also during the day I didn’t either. It’s also near 2 very expensive overpriced tourist trap restaurants that sell microwave food and pretend it’s fresh for ridiculous prices. Don’t go near them! If you only need something no frills and want convenience this hotel is ok, but for a longer and more comfortable stay, I’d stay elsewhere.
Great location across street from central train station. Variety of restaurants in the area and east access to subway to get to Duomo. Hotel is very basic but clean. Booked queen room but bed is more like a wide twin. Talked to front desk and they explained it was their hotel groups ‘queen’. Nice to have CNN. First hotel in 3 weeks that had English speaking channels.
The hotel is just 50 steps away from Milan Central Station, Rooms have an amazing view. The staff was quiet friendly too. Continental Breakfast was decent but the view from the restaurant was just amazing. Will surely stay again if visiting Milan again.
The hotel is nice. It is located immediately as you exit the train station. Ideal for train travelers. It has rooms with views over the train station. The rooms are clean and spacious. I liked staying here. But unfortunately there is a minus. Not their fault ... The area in front of the station is totally compromised and overwhelmed. Full of refugees and people of "different nationalities". Some of them with a very strange behavior ... I can not say that it is insecure ... considering that in the same place are located 2 police vans and 3 army cars ... But it is a totally unpleasant sensation.
Only stayed for one night but it was amazing, the location, the staff, the building, the room, breakfast on the 8th floor, all was excellent! We loved it and will go back without any doubt. The only negative thing was that the shower was a little bit small.
Stayed at the hotel with my father for 2 nights. Upon arrival, Simone greeted us warmly and was so friendly and courteous. Likewise, all our requests were met promptly by other hotel staff. A great experience!
Only stayed for one night while in transit, was very happy with my choice. Conveniently located to train station which I needed. There is a nice restaurant around the corner with great pizzas. Didn’t experience breakfast as was leaving at 5am but went upstairs just to check out the view and it was fabulous! Room is clean and fresh, obviously newly updated. Comfortable and would definitely stay again.
We only had one night in Milan, before an early morning train departure. The location can't be beat for that, as it's literally across the street from the station entrance. Took all of 5 minutes from our hotel room door to the platforms. Several restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived before our room was ready and the luggage storage room was easy to access. We booked a triple room (3 twin beds), which was clean, but a bit small. For one night, however, it was perfect. I will say that the beds were very firm, but other than that, no complaints.
