Must have been renovated recently. Carpets are new. Good breakfast. On the downside, the service is cold. They may not respond to emails promptly. We were asked to go from the rail-station to the airport to get the hotel shuttle but we were never told that the shuttle pauses during 11 am-4 pm or so. They do offer reimbursement if you take a cab during that time but you need to know that. They won't volunteer that information. We found ants in the bathroom and the response was cold - "we will take a look"
The hotel was nice it was clean and close to the airport. Most of the people who checkes in here are business related work because i was surprised to take my breakfast on our stay her because everybody in the restaurant taking breakfast, the men were all wearing suits and women in formal dresses. I was thinking I was in the wrong place because it was only me trying to eat breakfast there wearing a rugged pants. It feels like I was in the wrong place.
We had an early(ish) morning flight at 0655 which was too early for the complimentary shuttle bus service, which judging by the numbers of people being picked up by taxis seems strange. Rooms small and basic but clean. Our sleep was not helped by the buzzing of a mosquito. Friendly and helpful staff.
Just stayed at the Holiday Inn Linate for one night and found our stay pretty enjoyable. The hotel itself was very nice and the room was comfortable. The staff was helpful and accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone flying in and out of Linate Airport due to its location and shuttle service. The only concerns I would have about this hotel is cost and location for all other things. Once you are at the hotel you are confined to the hotel grounds unless you have a vehicle. The restaurant food was very good but very expensive. It kind of feels like because you have no other option for food they can charge you whatever they want. Breakfast was also not included and expensive as well. If you ate at the hotel only it could become a very expensive stay quickly. It it probably less expensive to rent a car for your stay here and eat elsewhere compared to not having a car and eating on site. In the end we would recommend the hotel primarily due to its location to the airport and shuttle.
Good hotel for early morning next day flights its close to Linate and all of the remote parking locations. Breakfast is ok they have a little bit of everything so enough to fill you up before your trip. Rooms are older but kept clean which is a plus. Staff friendly .
Another visit to this hotel because it is not far from Linate airport and there is a free shuttle. My room was very big and confortable. The breakfast was not included in my rate and so I didn't do it. The only problem I had was that when I arrived at the airport and called for the shuttle I had to wait about 20 minutes because the phone was always busy.
Free airport shuttle. Very handy. Hotel is nice. Not a lot else to do in this area, I stayed here for proximity to the airport. Breakfast is also good. Staff are helpful. Rooms are clean and shower is good.
I'll start with the good. The showers are amazing. The bathrooms were will done and new. The beds are what you would expect for a holiday inn. The casa de gelati restaurant next door was super good but you have to walk on the road a bit. The owner and the food gave us something to make this place in middle of nowhere memorable. He was super cute and he gave is a tour of good kitchen. Now the bad. I had to book my tickets and could not because the internet was 512mb and so slow I could've run back home in the time it took to connect. The restaurant was awful and empty.. So if you must stay here go to the casa de gelati and say hi.
... you have a early morning flight from Linate. Nothing else to do around Shuttle did not turn up at Linate when we reached from Milano Central, they say you have to call the hotel for shuttle for it to pick you up... Took 4 euros from Milano Central Station to Linate by bus (30 minutes) and then 12 Euro a from from Linate to hotel by taxi as the shuttle did not arrive... other people were waiting too and they too took taxi for transfer Rooms are ok and TV is hazy... breakfast is okay too Not a modern Holiday Inn but that's it....
This was a step below what we usually get with a Holiday Inn. There was no trouble with parking, but it’s not connected to a metro line – it’s only 2 miles a way but takes 10 minutes to get to. The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport, but it doesn’t start early enough to take it for international flights first thing in the morning, so it forced us to keep our car and return it ourselves in the morning. It was very warm in the room and we had to open the window; then we had to close it because of mosquitoes. The shower door let out a squeak to wake the dead every time you used it. The garbage can lid in the bathroom was broken. Our second night we discovered they left us with only 1 towel and had not replenished our coffee. Wifi is limited to 3 devices - why in this day and age?? Room was clean and roomy enough.
