I was staying overnight prior to a flight, Had breakfast which was enjoyable. The room was too warm and the air conditioning didn't seem to work at all, and the wifi was entirely unusable. The room was otherwise comfortable, clean and welcoming. The shuttle service was extremely helpful.
Free airport pickup worked fine once I’d rung hotel and understood the bus goes from door 4 which is on the departure level not arrivals. Room was 23-24C and stuffy. Reception said aircon is switched off in October so poor night sleep in heat. Don’t open the window because 1. Bugs from lake) 2. Road noise 3. Airplanes taking off overhead. Room service was limited.
We stayed here in June and the experience was not good. We stayed here again in September and the experience was even worse. If all you want is a bed then it serves its purpose, but if you expect any service it would be better to go somewhere else. In June there was a single waiter trying to cover both the bar and the early evening dinner service. He was totally stressed and quite abrupt. When a tour group came in there ensued a furious row between him and the tour guide in the middle of the dining room. Service at the bar during this time ceased totally. In September initial impressions were better. Check in was friendly and efficient. At 18:30 the bar was unattended, but the receptionist was able to summon a waitress who was friendly and gave us a drink. When we went through to the dining room the fragile nature of the service was again apparent. The waiter on duty that evening is from London apparently. We know this because we heard his life story several times as he wasted time at various tables. After having sat at our table for twenty minutes and being ignored I wondered how long this could continue. Unfortunately I will never know. After having heard him relating his life history several times I decided to leave. The reception and bar area is quite uninviting and looks very dated. It is apparent the Holiday Inn brand is no guarantee of quality and service. The room and bathroom are quite adequate, and if the only requirement is for a bedroom the hotel may be acceptable for a one night stay.
Reception: no acknowledgment for Spire - couldn't be bothered to be pleasant Room: very small and shabby, door handle fell off, bathroom door impossible to close Internet: don't even bother ! It is terrible Food: pretty awful at best - how can Italians muck up pasta??? Bar: good luck as nobody around at bar or reception. Waiter rude to me when I asked where the bar staff were. Location: 15 minutes from airport Will not wish to return here - IHG you need to I investigate this place as it is damaging the brand.
A decent and relatively affordable hotel, not that far from the Linate Airport. The rooms are not that large, but clean. Nothing to say on the bed, that for us was good, nor for the service, since the check in and check out procedures went smoothly. Only BIG flaw is the shuttle to the airport. It starts at 6 am. Definitely too late for our plane, that was departing at 7, so we had to call a cab that definitely ripped us. Since we decided for this hotel also because of the free transportation, I feel quite unsatisfied by the running of this service. If I had known, I would have possibly chosen another one.
Must have been renovated recently. Carpets are new. Good breakfast. On the downside, the service is cold. They may not respond to emails promptly. We were asked to go from the rail-station to the airport to get the hotel shuttle but we were never told that the shuttle pauses during 11 am-4 pm or so. They do offer reimbursement if you take a cab during that time but you need to know that. They won't volunteer that information. We found ants in the bathroom and the response was cold - "we will take a look"
The hotel was nice it was clean and close to the airport. Most of the people who checkes in here are business related work because i was surprised to take my breakfast on our stay her because everybody in the restaurant taking breakfast, the men were all wearing suits and women in formal dresses. I was thinking I was in the wrong place because it was only me trying to eat breakfast there wearing a rugged pants. It feels like I was in the wrong place.
We had an early(ish) morning flight at 0655 which was too early for the complimentary shuttle bus service, which judging by the numbers of people being picked up by taxis seems strange. Rooms small and basic but clean. Our sleep was not helped by the buzzing of a mosquito. Friendly and helpful staff.
Just stayed at the Holiday Inn Linate for one night and found our stay pretty enjoyable. The hotel itself was very nice and the room was comfortable. The staff was helpful and accommodating as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone flying in and out of Linate Airport due to its location and shuttle service. The only concerns I would have about this hotel is cost and location for all other things. Once you are at the hotel you are confined to the hotel grounds unless you have a vehicle. The restaurant food was very good but very expensive. It kind of feels like because you have no other option for food they can charge you whatever they want. Breakfast was also not included and expensive as well. If you ate at the hotel only it could become a very expensive stay quickly. It it probably less expensive to rent a car for your stay here and eat elsewhere compared to not having a car and eating on site. In the end we would recommend the hotel primarily due to its location to the airport and shuttle.
Good hotel for early morning next day flights its close to Linate and all of the remote parking locations. Breakfast is ok they have a little bit of everything so enough to fill you up before your trip. Rooms are older but kept clean which is a plus. Staff friendly .
