Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. On arrival Charles told us that our room would be ready in an hour. He said we should go out for a walk around & gave us a street map on which he marked off all the sights & best areas for restaurants etc. We came back a while later & Charles gave us a complimentary drink voucher for the bar, presumably for the inconvenience. Our room on the 5th floor was spacious & very clean. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Location of the hotel is good too - very close to Metro & Central Rail Station. From the first day to our last, it was a pleasure to stay here & I would highly recommend it. I we return to Milan, this will be our first choice to stay.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel several years ago and at the time I was ill with kidney stones unbeknown to me. The staff were extremely helpful and organised the house doctor for me.. Other than attentive care by staff this was a pleasant stay

Nice hotel in a central-ish location in Milan. It's close to the main station, and therefore well connected transport-wise, but walking to the centre takes approx. 20-30 minutes. The style of the hotel is very fancy, but old school, not exactly my taste but that just comes down to personal preference. All in all it was a nice place to stay; the room was clean, the breakfast buffet was nice and the staff was friendly.

Stayed here with my husband and our 1 year old. The staff made us feel very welcome and fawned over my little one. They suggested great restaurants within walking distance which were suitable for our family. The breakfast in the hotel was ok but could have had a few more options. The hotel is not in the dead centre but is very close to metro and and for those willing it’s not a terribly long walk. Absolutely enjoyed my stay and would happily stay again.

This hotel is very close to the train Centrale Station by walking: 5 minutes. The hotel has a good and calm area close to numerous shops streets, bar & restaurants. Old but clean hotel. This is my 7th time at this hotel, I found a weakness about the quality of breakfast this time.

I stayed at this hotel during my Milan stop on my tour for one night. The room and bathroom are a great size and are clean. Very close to the Metro and it’s a quick trip by train to all the nice sights. Close to lots of nice shops, bars and restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, even had bacon and eggs (which is always a nice change for pastries). It was one of the nicer hotels on my tour and I would happily recommend to others.

We chose this hotel again because of our experience the first time. We arrived at the hotel about 10:30 a.m. after an overnight flight. When we were there five years ago, the staff was accommodating and allowed us into our rooms when we arrived at 9:30 a.m. This time we had to wait until 2 p.m. The lobby is nice and we were able to hang out there although I felt the staff wasn't interested in helping us to access our room any earlier than check in time. Otherwise, the rooms are nice, bed is comfortable and the breakfast is very good with many choices available. The evening staff, especially Rocco, were much more helpful and provided us with some good restaurant choices that were within walking distance.

This hotel had some good aspects such as the location close to the main train station and the start of the lengthy Corso Buanos Aries shopping street. The public areas were comfortable and looked quite up- market and the breakfast room and breakfast were quite good. We found the room to be very hot and had to open the window (fortunately) even though it was mid winter. The room was a reasonable size but the bathroom was tired. It did have a good sized bath. Proximity to the Loreto metro station was an issue, as the station has many entrances and exits, without maps underground, and if disoriented at night, this is confusing, time-wasting and a bit scary for older people. Signage provided by the hotel and the transport company could make this much better. Also, Google doesn’t help you when you leave Centrale and try to orient yourself. Basically, from the square in front of the station, you have to turn around and walk alongside the side of the huge station, parallel to the tracks, until you hit the road that runs under the subway beneath the tracks. Turn right, walk about 150m to the half left is the Viale Andria Doria and the hotel canopy and sigh on the roof should be obvious. We found the staff on the front desk to be helpful when not booking others in or out, but couldn’t work out why three trainees stood around doing little more than receiving or handing out room keys! The room was very well maintained and the linen was of a good quality.

Room are a fair size, noise easily heard. Bathroom is old and needs some fresh plumbing. Free breakfast is okay and wifi is hard to get sometimes and it is very slow. The room was not cleaned very well during our stay and they even left their dirty towel on the table by the coffee tray...gross. Next time, try to get some thing better located to restaurant instead of the train station.

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel for a long weekend in December. We had two single rooms on the top floor. (Fantastic views straight to the mountains.) The beds were comfortable with lovely crisp sheets and the rooms were smallish, but with everything you needed. Bathrooms were nice - all done in marble. Staff were very friendly and most spoke excellent English. Breakfast was great - lots of choice and everything was fresh and nicely arranged. We did not try the dinner - the menu looked a bit elaborate for a 15 year old. Very close to the Metro and the bus stop for Bergamo airport. Walking distance to lots of nice restaurants and Corso Buenos Aires. If travelling again to Milan I would be very happy to stay here. The sound proofing in the rooms was good. Two minor quibbles - the shower screen was not very effective and the Sky box in my room did not work. If not for that it would have been 5 stars.
