Only in Midland is a hotel like this considered acceptable. Supposed to be non-smoking, but somehow still smells like an ashtray. Had to rewash everything that sat in that room. Bathroom smelled like pee, especially when you turned the shower on. Probably because the outside of the toilet didn't appear to have been cleaned in quite some time. Had a smokebox little bar downstairs that overcharges. If you enjoy the smell of unventilated cigarette smoke, this is your spot. Kind of a VFW kind of feel to it. Desk clerk got an attitude when I asked for a receipt. He said that it had been emailed. They didn't have my email address, so of course that never came through. Had to go back to the hotel later that afternoon to get a receipt. Places in this town are hit or miss, of course, but if they would try just a little harder, or generally give a crap, it could be so much better. All they seem to care about is getting your money, that you are working hard for, in a place you don't want to be. But hey, it's Midland, right!

It was just ok. Nothing special. The hotel was just convent for my work

The bathroom shower and toilet was very dirty, and the room was dusty. Everything else was great

Needs some updates. Good enough for price. Nice people, very helpful. Close to airport, with free shuttle.

Affordable with good room rates and fairly good amenities, especially for work crews

Old hotel, but close to airport. Has Deli Shop and Bar. Also has pool. Room was ok, needs facelift.

Speedy check in.room was great.airport noise wasn't bad as close has the hotel was.

Thought e as in Midland but not. Took 45 minutes to find. Night clerk did not know how to give clear directions.

The room was really nice. Recently remodeled. The lobby and the rest of the hotel was currently under construction, so it was a bit rough. Can't really fault them for improving the place, but it would have been nice to know that before booking. Also the WiFi was out. They made no claims that they were attempting to fix it. The front desk staff was extremely polite and professional. Over all, it was a good stay. Only real complaint would be about the 4 times that housekeeping tried to come in my room without knocking. If I had a Do Not Disturb sign it would have helped. And them yelling down the hallway at each other and waking me up wasn't cool at all. Nor was them vacuuming the hall at 9:00 in the morning. Had I not worked until 2:00AM it wouldn't have been such a big deal. But again, over all it was good. Once the constructions is complete and they get housekeeping in order this will be a great hotel. Especially so close to the airport and free shuttle to and from. Clean rooms, good price, decent breakfast, location... I give it 4 out of 5 stars.

Stayed 9/10 & 9/17: different rooms, both disappointing. 9/17 stay had dirty room, Jane wiped floors because of uncleanliness. Towels dirty: card reader for room entry did not work properly. One guest in breakfast bar walking around bare footed where food is served. TV in room sound did not sync with video (both rooms). Room prices in this area (Midland/Odessa) are inflated because of oil activity. But this location is particularly bad. I would NEVER stay at this hotel again.

This hotel is located near the airport between Midland and Odessa. Stayed there 9/10/2014, and 9/17/2014. The rooms were poorly lit, the linen was either dirty (I mean really dirty) or missing, the outdoor pool is growing algae. A man checking out prior to us told the desk clerk that his linen had not been changed in four days. We mopped the floor in our room because it was so dirty. And this for $144/night. This hotel chain should be ashamed of this location.

The room was not clean, the shower had hair all through it and what appeared to be slime. Will not be staying here again.

As always we are very happy n satisfied with your hotel.

I enjoyed my time here with my sweetheart and will continue to come here more often

We stayed here for an early morning airport departure. Clean & safe. Nothing is close by, so keep your rental (or personal) car to access food other than the hotel restaurant. Smoking rooms were beside non-smoking rooms. Appreciated the full breakfast and free airport shuttle, as well as friendly staff.

When I walked in they looked at me that they are doing me a favor by letting me in the hotel. Paid $179 but bed was as hard as rock. Don't ever stay there. I'd rather sleep in my car and save some money. Motel from inside in hall way smelt really bad.. I was honestly scared that I might find some type of animal in room because I didn't think that room was ever cleaned. I was scared that some one will break in room. Did not sleep at all. DO NOT STAY THERE EVEN IF THEY ARE OFFERING FREE ROOM

I am pretty flexible when it comes to my needs. I travel all over the country, and realize that some hotels may not meet MY needs and expectations, but may be considered acceptable depending on the area. Unfortunately there are those rare occasions where the hotel is just plain terrible. This is one of those. They were doing construction in the hallway outside my room. They should have closed that portion of the hotel to do the work. I literally had to step over extension cords and walk around buckets to get to my room. I worked early in the morning and came back to the room to get some sleep, but that was not going to happen with the sprayer, sanding and paint smell outside my room. They allegedly put me in that area of the hotel because I requested a non-smoking room and that's all they had. I should have asked for a non-paint smell room. Oh ya the TV did not work. I called the front desk and was told she was there alone and could not do anything about it. High notes, the food was pretty good, the towels and bed were clean. Low notes, the price I paid was waaaaaay to much. I am not even going to get into the fact the door to my room rattled, the patchwork in the bathroom was falling off the walls, the carpet was old, the wallpaper was coming off. That is only the beginning and they should have priced the room accordingly. I am currently in El Paso staying at a hotel that is twice as nice, and almost half the price. I guess it comes down to supply and demand, but this is no way this hotel should have two stars.

The staff was very helpful providing local information that we requested. The room was comfortable, but the bathroom floor could have been swept better, and the halls could have used a good vacuum. The complimentary breakfast was satisfactory, and the attendants there were very friendly, but the area could use an updating.

Probably the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at - food/crumbs/debris all over floors in common areas and in room - room looks like it was never cleaned. Very rundown - stained ceilings, filthy. Shame because staff was extremely helpful and pleasant just terrible housekeeping.

The facility is approximately 30 years old. Having said that, the facility was clean and well maintained. The room was quiet and the bed and linens were okay. The towels were old. The location being next to the airport was beneficial. The room ventilation unit controls need repair. The price was high but relative to other prices in the area. The Hotel Lounge was not a good experience as it was a small smoke-filled bar. The complimentary breakfast was below average. My stay there was for business and primarily for a shower and good night's rest, of which I received.
