okay stay at an okay hotel

GetawayWithFriends

I stayed at this hotel during a time that would be considered PEAK (Ultra Music Festival Weekend), so I can see why the prices were bumped up to such a high amount. The hotel is in a good enough location so that everything on South Beach is within walking distance, but the room itself was nothing special. Room service neglected to provide towels for 2 out of the three nights. There was no fridge and the overall cleanliness of the room was not that great. The room contained only the bare essentials and is good for sleeping if nothing else. I did have a positive experience with the staff - they were very accommodating for an early check in and were very helpful with any other questions I had. Again, overall the location is good and for sleeping it is acceptable.

great trip

Families

Great location, rooms were large, amenities were fine, good price, staff was pretty good. The parking is an issue as the valet option is very expensive ($35 a day), and takes a while to get your car. Overall, it was a good, cheap hotel in a fabulous location.

fine. if you don't care about services.

The studios were fine -- but not better than "fine." (meaning, ok, acceptable) However, the maid service was HORRENDOUS. The maid cleaned our room only 1 time (over 5 nights) and NEVER swept the floor -- meaning by the 4th night, the floor was crunchy from sand and dirt. Besides that I had to ask multiple times for coffee-- they kept bringing decaf. I wouldn't stay there again, there's no shortage of hotels in Miami. Why bother with this place, unless all of the others in the price range are sold out.
