Great location and friendly workers specially the pool and beach personnel. Wish the rooms were more clean and that it wasn’t so noisy at all hours of the night which is one of the reasons we wanted to stay way from ocean drive.

First, negative: The photos are misleading, it’s a very small hotel (most of it is 3 floors), with very very small rooms, and very old and outdated. They do their best to clean it, but it really needs a major renovation. There was 4 of us in one room and we could barely turn around. AC worked but didn’t do good job getting rid of humidity and was blowing on one person while the rest felt hot. The beds are not queen, they are full size, and were very uncomfortable. In terms of service, they gave us everything we asked. Overall pleasant staff apart from most don’t speak English and no one told me there is a code to the back gate on the way to the beach (I arrived early, had to wait for a room and headed to the beach, the front desk knew as they told me where to change, but didn’t think to give me the code and I had to yell at people at the pool to let me in). In terms of positives, it is on the beach; the restaurant has decent portions; breakfast had fresh, tasty fruit, shower worked well.

Liked the fact that is is very close to the beach. Location near lincoln ave Disliked the fact that there was no refrigerator in the room and the photo did not prove justice to the actual.

Property was beautiful in great location. I didn't like the roaches or poor selection of continental breakfast.

We loved our stay at the South Seas Hotel. The hotel was clean, quiet/relaxing and the food was excellent. If you booked through the hotel(we did not), you get free wine and cheese during happy hour and free chairs/umbrellas ($25/day) on the beach. Since we only spent one day on the beach and don't drink wine, the savings of booking through Orbitz was in our favor. A continental breakfast buffet is served every morning. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves. Things I would change (cause I know you read these, South Seas). Add Pancakes, Waffles or FrenchToast to breakfast. Lower the alcoholic drink prices a little. The bar was dead unless it was half price happy hour.

The pools wasn’t in its best shape. Picture on this website showing the pool was not accurate. The WiFi service is poor. Staff at front desk wasn’t friendly at all.

The hotel itself was a cute little spot, in a great location. Right off the beach and close to many nice restaurants and shops. Nice lounging area in the back behind the pool. Natalie, the bartender, was absolutely amazing and was so enjoyable. The room was small, bathroom even smaller but if thinking about the Art Deco theme and the time the hotel was built, it’s perfect. The hotel offers a luggage service, where they let us keep our suitcases there until our flight later in the evening so we could enjoy the day shopping and eating.

Ok hotel, close to beach. Elevator did not work that well. Room was tiny. Bfast was so-so. We went for a cheaper hotel away from the craziness of SoBe and we got what we paid for.

The hotel staff was rude. The hotel is dated. The walls are very then you can hear everything that’s happening in other people rooms

The only good thing about our stay at this hotel was its location. Valet parking cost us 35$ a night (we stayed for one night during the week). When we went to the beach the next morning we were asked to present the cards for the beach chairs that were never offered to us at the check in, otherwise we would have to pay. The room was supposed to have an ocean view, but we couldn't see the ocean from the room. The room itself was tiny, and looked old, the bathroom was outdated, no hot water in the shower (only in the sink). The elevator was far away from the reception (which I didn't mind, but it would be inconvenient for older people to carry all the luggage so far). Continental breakfast was OK, although I would say that the dinning area wasn't big enough because some people had to sit outside by the pool to have their breakfast. Overall, I was disappointed with the hotel because we paid over $300 for one night thinking it would be a much nicer place.

I was placed in a hotel that overlooked an HVAC system and the hotels kitchen. I was unable to sleep due to the noise and the mattress was extremely hard. Before checkout, I called the valet 10 minutes prior to my leaving (as instructed). When I went to the front desk to check out, I told "Ana," the front desk clerk about all the noise. She completely dismissed my complaint and told me of a famous person that always request to stay in that very room. I told her "maybe he likes to stay up all night." After checking out I went outside to my car which was not brought around until 20 minutes later. Ignorant, disrespectful, and overpriced. DON'T STAY THERE!

Hotel needs some serious uplift. Dirty and slow elevator Antiquated air conditioning Front desk assistance was great Bartenders and additional help not so good Wireless is slow Hotel had their employee party during our stay and a man rudely kicked us out of the pool area twice! It would have been nice to be informed of this in advance Location was great but major uplift needs to be done.

This replace has pictures but not real when you get there I would recommend you to stay in a place that has the same picture and Internet and same rooms that showing off

right on the beach and heated pool , and very nice breakfast
