Based on photos on booking.com the place was ok, but not in reality. I paid $600 for 5-6 days, but once I entered the room, I found that the room is far away from pictures on booking.com. Smell, not clean bed, also you hear everything what is going on in another room, even what TV program your neighbor is watching. I spent 10 mins in the room then decided not to stay here. Reception still did not return me back my money, saying he has some problems with POS terminal/bank. While other hotels can do return to your card easily.
We slept one night there. Clean, Safe and the People there are very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and The bathroom was clean, hot Water. Instead it is direct close to a road it was very quiet during the night. Would stay there again.
First off, we felt that parking was not safe but it is actually very well lit throughout the night. Check in was easy and quick. The layout of the room is a little weird, but the important thing is that it is very spacious and there is a huge sink, which is separated from the shower. Disappointed that we were only given 2 bath towels and 2 washcloths but no hand towel, super weird. As others have mentioned, the AC is very noisy. But in my opinion this is a plus because it masks the outside noises. Very clean space, only stains on the bathroom rug. I guess with the renovations, they set up more outlets which are awesome. The king bed was huge and very comfortable, so were the pillows. I was awaken every morning by a bunch of birds and I thought this was the cutest thing considering we were in such a busy area of town. As suggestions to the property, I would install hooks or other ways of hanging things, especially in the bathroom. Other than that, the experience was overall much better than we expected! Definitely a good value for Miami.
After reading some good reviews I stayed here for 2 nights, but wouldn't do it again. Yes, it was cheaper than the hotels on South Beach and the lady that checked me in was very friendly, but that's it. Door into the room felt like an inside door (so I felt a little unsafe), the bathroom was not that clean and the bed was falling apart! So I'm sorry to say, but I didn't have a pleasant stay.
Having been here several times in the past month or so to utilize as a place to work from and, reorganize my and my 9 year old sons life I was pleasantly surprised on several levels with the Sinbad Motel Miami. The outside is very simplistic and non-ornate. But once you enter the rooms they are neat, TV with multiple stations and, best of all, the beds are by far one of the most comfortable of any Hotel/Motel we have ever experienced. Being cost effective, close proximity to all and a warm family run operation would recommend Sinbad to anybody looking for the aforementioned. As a matter of fact I did recommend Sinbad and, their stay was exactly as I explained it would be. By Victor
Clean but really average, even if recently refreshed. Big room, extremely noisy ac, nice shower No breakfast but a Starbucks and a grocery nearby. Car parking available, not away from downtown, but in a anonymous district. Good for a budget choice
They treated us very nicely. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the Biscayne Blvd area looking for an overnight stay. There's a gas station across the street with a cafeteria inside as well for anybody's convenience.
Don‘t know why nobody mentioned the noise directly from the street. Even we closed all windows, it was still annoying noise from the main road. Other than that, everything was great, clean, spacious, friendly staffs...
Parking is not only limited, but the side that we stayed on, only parallel parking was available. On the other side there is normal parking, but it is on a one way street, which is not always convenient. The room was very clean and the AC worked well. It was about a 10 minute drive to the parking garage in which we met our shuttle to the cruise ship. The only complaint that I can think of is that we were not able to check in early (which isn't even a complaint really bc I knew the check in time before we arrived). The owners are very nice and suggested some restaurants and events near us to visit. The cafe across the street is really good. Can't remember the name, but it starts with an E and is some type of European place I think. It is within walking distance and has great coffee and breakfast foods. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again if we take another cruise out of Miami. The price is definitely worth the experience.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Sinbad motel for one night before boarding a cruise the next day. We called ahead to see if we could check in early because our flight arrived early. We arrived around 9 AM and check in was very smooth. There is no lobby just a little check in window, which I'm not used to but it didn't bother me. The lady (I believe one of the owners) checked us in and was able to give us a room right away, which was nice. The room was average; clean and spacious. It had a mini fridge and a microwave but no dressers or an actual closet. That didn't bother us too much either since we were only there one night and weren't going to unpack our bags anyways. Bathroom was clean and simple with all the usual toiletries. The location was ok, there's some restaurants and a cafe in walking distance. We had to uber to Miami beach though. All in all it was very reasonable for what we wanted. Would I stay for a whole week? Probably not, but a quick one night or weekend stay, I would definitely come back.
