I can just strongly recommend this art deco hotel located at Ocean Drive. Arrived by car late afternoon and they offer valet parking, fine you pay for it but great service. At check.in we got such nice welcome and felt replay as valued customer - great job there. The room wasn't so big but good enough for three persons. Modern and stylish with good beds. Also the bathroom was in the same modern style. Unfortunately our room was on the side so we didn't have sea view. Nevertheless that wasn't too bad as they have a really nice roof top area with pool and relaxing area and from there you will get the stunning view over the beach and sea. The hotel also offer breakfast and just sitting some feels away from the waking up Ocean Drive is so nice. Seeing Miami Beach starting the day, I'll like it. You will also find a fitness room, fairly good equipped or you just easily cross the street for the morning walk/run in the park/beach. You easily reach further restaurants and shopping areas in walking distance. Can also recommend you to rent a bike (also just across the street) to do a ride down to the harbor areas and along the beach. Will certainly go back if traveling to Miami South Beach again.

My wife and I stayed here a couple of weeks ago. The hotel was great. Staff was wonderful. Rooftop pool relaxing and unique for a boutique hotel. Beach access probably closer than any big box hotel. The restaurant was good but very expensive. Going to return again.

We arrived late and had a very warm welcome into the hotel. The valet took care of our car for us. Our room was on the first floor and a lovely guy helped us with our luggage to our room and explained the amenities. Rooms were big, spacious and clean. There was free access to computers and printers which was very handy for return check in etc. The rooftop pool is quite small but perfect for relaxing after a day out in Miami. Every time you enter or leave the hotel staff hold doors for you, which is a friendly touch! The beach is right over the road, you can't get any closer, and the bars and restaurants are EVERYWHERE! So you can go as close or as far away from the hotel as you want to. I recommend using uber when in Miami as its fairly cheap and easier/more convenient than finding somewhere to park. There are tour buses nearby that take you over to downtown Miami, where you can find Little Havana, Biscayne Bay and various sporting venues - I recommend visiting all during your time here! The Leslie hotel left a lasting impression on us and I would recommend to anyone visiting South Beach!

This is an ideal spot to stay when visiting Miami. We loved the art deco of the hotel. Staff is very friendly, rooms are very clean and modern. The only thing that we did not like is the breakfast : very basic and not so palatable. There are many places around to have a better breakfast. But this was not a big problem for us. We would definitely stay there again for our next visit. The valet service is top notch.

Second time in South Beach. Best place to stay. The staff was very accomodating especially Lily. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO YOU LILY. This hotel offers you free breakfast, free chairs, free towels and umbrellas to take to the beach. This hotel is located right across from a very beautiful beach.

Some friends and I visited this hotel for Memorial Day weekend. We hadn't visited south beach before, so I did tons of review to make sure we were staying somewhere nice. Upon arrival, the hotel was nice. The woman who greeted us to check in was very pleasant and informational! The free breakfast was also a plus. My friends and I did a lot of nighttime activities, so one night we decided to just get a drink from the bar inside our hotel lobby. As we waited for the bar tender to finish with his customer, we saw a roach run across some cups he had set up behind the bar. We then told the bartender, and he got a paper towel and killed the roach with just his hands and the paper towel. (No gloves or anything) He then continued to make drinks, without washing his hands! We asked to speak to a manager, because we were concerned about the possibility of roaches in our room. We spoke to an older bald guy who was extremely rude. He spoke down to us as if this was a normal occurrence and as if he really didn't care how we felt. We had to wait until the morning to speak to the nice woman we had first spoke to. She basically told us that there was nothing she could do because the hotel and the bar/restaurant were two different entities. It was our last night at this point and so the offered us free breakfast at another hotel 🙄

We wanted to stay on South Beach in the action and in the action we were!! Pulling up outside the hotel late Thursday afternoon was a culture shock having left genteel Charleston - the cafe was full and the clients were drinking huge cocktails with loud music - took a little adjusting to! Once inside, having been helped by the doorman and valet, it was a different story altogether. The receptionist was helpful and we were soon going up to our room further from the front entrance. The room was super with modern fittings although the bathroom had been designed by a man who didn't know about makeup mirrors! The shower was delightful and the toiletries beautiful - presents on the bed too!! A bag/satchel, drinking bottle and chocolates - all gratefully received. The beds are comfortable and the wifi very good. The pool area is fabulous - really luxurious and clean. The pool lady is lovely too. The noise at night could be a problem for some guests but I used ear plugs and slept blissfully. Breakfast was good - tasty and abundant with fresh coffee being poured. The Leslie is right in the centre - over the road from the beach with free chairs and towels as well as being close to other bars and restaurants. The rooms were well serviced although I would have like a coffee maker - perhaps I should have asked for one. If you want to be in the action then it's great and for our first time in Miami I am pleased we were - perhaps next time I would choose a more sedate quieter hotel away from the action but no regrets - we did Miami!

Just gone through a refurb and the room was clean. Staff friendliness was hit and miss. Located right across the road from the beach and on the upper end of Ocean Drive. Had a bar and restaurant which was available for all guests with good prices if you were staying. Only downside was Valet parking. I got there at 6pm and my car was parked on the street all night.... why did I pay for this service????

This hotel is definitely right where you need to be - I would've given this hotel 4stars however the lighting in the bathroom & room is terrible. Also we had someone gain access to our room without the front desk verifying if they was in our room. Other than that the staff was very helpful. They also provide beach towels, chairs, and free continental breakfast. The food was a little pricey, but hey you're on Ocean Drive so we knew what to expect. Overall, yes I would recommend this hotel and stay again. Oh the WIFI is terrible...so yes fix the lighting in the rooms so us ladies can do our makeup properly and everything would be great! Oh yes the do not have irons or ironing boards in the room you must request from the front desk.

Arrived late from delayed flight, got to room after a delay at the front desk. Could not find the booking for the room, we were shown the room and I could not believe how small it was. $400 per night if it was 300-sq foot I would be shocked. Clean, neat and nice, but it is a busy hotel and God help you if you have a room facing the front on the street side, you will never sleep as it is always busy. Food in the restaurant was great. Overall a nice hotel, but pricey.
