Holiday Inn Express Miami International Airport

This was a nice medium priced hotel near my cruise port. Staff was friendly. Room was nice. Plus-- I Hop restaurant was close next door.

Comfortable room, very attentive staff, excellent airport shuttle service. The room could be better illuminated. Wi-Fi is not simple to connect to some devices as the server is not recognized as secure. Once connected the quality is good.

The hotel is central located to Miami Beach and Downtown.

Good choice for an overnight arriving in MIA airport and leaving next morning. Breakfast was great. Transportation a challenge, shuttle driver was not going to take us to hotel if I could not produce a confirmation, which I had left in the Galapagos. Had to really almost beg to at least get us to the hotel to see if we were at right place. Weary from many hours of travel and found this unpleasant to say the least. Pool at another location also not so convenient. Maria M.

We stayed here before heading out on our cruise. The location is closed to the airport. There was a shuttle service to the port, and it was easy and convenient.

Very very clean!!! Close to airport, 24 hour IHOP across the parking lot that will give you a 10 discount when you show your room key. WI-FI was unsecured.

The Holiday Inn Hotels have a certain brand and image. One that is clean, friendly and with a great price. While price was not an issue, the cleanliness was a major problem. There was hair in the sheets, mold on the wall in the bathroom and the bed skirt was dirty. The hallways were also dirty and looked in need of a vacuum. There is no gym or pool on site you have to go to a sister property a couple miles away. This was not an issue for us, as we were only there two nights. If you need a shuttle to the airport, you had better get on the list at check-in. The shuttle does not go as needed like most other places. There, it is a first to sign-up process. Upon check-in, the desk attendant simply stated to let us know if you need a shuttle a couple hours before you need to depart. I said okay and didn't think anything of it. I did mention it the next morning, as I would need a ride the morning, thereafter. Much to my dismay, the 30 minute shuttle departures were all booked for the time that I needed (the van can only accommodate 8 people per trip). There is only one shuttle van, so we had to take a later time and hoped to make the flight. A new HI-Express is being constructed down the road. Perhaps, this location is moving there. I hope they are able to maintain the standards there.

staff friendly and accomodating, need of updating and making it disabalities friendly

It's was excellent. The service, the food, the location. I recomend this hotel for the family and for business.

We were looking for a hotel near the airport for one night and this one have gotten good reviews but I want copy with them. I do think this was an over rated hotel. The stuff was realy frendly, nice location and parking included. But the rooms, it was loud, you could hear both the airplanes and the next door neighbors. The decoration is old and the carpets in the room also seemed old. The were not a fresh feeling unfortunately.

This is an older hotel that is clean, comfortable, and close to the airport with 24 hr free shuttle service. It was clean, staff friendly, especially Darlene the shuttle driver! You won't get any frills but was just what we needed for a one night stay close to the airport on our way in and out of Miami.

No frills but clean comfortable close to the airport with 24 hr free shuttle. Darlene the shuttle driver was great! We stayed here on our way in and out of Maimi and was good for a one night stopover.

I only satyed one day; the service at the front desk was super, they allowed me a late check out and wwere very comprehensive when I arrived more than half an hour late to check out. It was on sunday, the computer was not working but I guess that is unpredictable and nothing could be done on a Sunday. Overall very good experience

I have stayed at the hotel more than 10 times. For me it is one of the best. It is very clean, people at the from desk is so nice. Location is perfect. So I recommend it always.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Location to airport exceptional. Sports bar with good food right next door to hotel was a bonus. The only negative was on-site amenities, no pool or lounge.

We had a fair amount of issues w/ this hotel. First the shuttle did not pick us up as promised though we called and waited 40 mins. Secondly, our shower head had that pink bacteria growing on it and we had to change rooms in the middles of the night. We changed to a king room, which we asked for when we checked in but were told it was not available (lie). Third, the king room we changed to smelled like cigarette smoke. The hotel looked like it was going thru an upgrade and the employees were nice enough, but the quality is very poor.

Good location, excellent staff attention. Good breakfast.

Good value. Near the airport. Excellent helpful staff. Free breakfast is a big plus. Free airport shuttle

Everything was very good. The only thing to change is the breakfast because they stop to serve at 9h30 am. If your flight or your cruise leaves lately, you have to wake up very early but it is cleary written they close at 9h30. Another good thing is the free shuttle to or from Miami airport. If you cruise, Doral shuttle is a very good shuttle service to the cruise port. They ask $ 10 US each way per person to the cruise port or from the cruise port to the hotel or to the airport. Finally, there is only a McDonald's restaurant very close to the hotel. I will definitely return there again, it was my 3rd time.

We wanted a room to dump our stuff in while we wandered about Miami and the Keys. This room served that purpose very well: The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was secure, and the continental breakfast was great. The pool and exercise room was to be found down the block (at other locations) but we didn't have any use for those amenities. The airport is literally around the corner from the hotel. So if you need a basic, decent, reasonably priced room close to the airport, I would choose this again.
