Location was perfect. It was during spring break so we were able to be near Wynwood and a short drive to south beach. Complimentary breakfast was great and having the essentials avaialbake downstairs was helpful.
We were caught by the storm at home so that we decided to wait another day before flying back to the snow. Our travel agent changed our plane and booked us into this hotel. We were returning from a cruise and thus got to the hotel way before check in. They took our luggage and stored it securely while we waited. All the staff, front desk, bellman/valet, housekeeping were all awesome. They remembered our names and used them whenever they saw us. Great rooms, the most comfortable beds in a hotel I have ever slept on. Pristine bathrooms, great pool and patio. They only reason I didnt give all 5 stars as I don’t like to leave to eat. We asked if any where delivered to the hotel and they said they had menus. We got the and called one they recommended; it became hysterical as the hotel was so new they couldn’t find it in their system! We finally called the front desk and asked them to call the restaurant and tell them where we were! Quite a laugh! We highly recommend this hotel, there were several restaurants (including McDonalds) within walking distance, but I have a walking disability and just wasn’t up to walking. Don’t hesitate to boo at this hotel. I thought the rice was a little high but it was a weekend and it wasn’t pre-planned.
Great place to stay in a good location. Within walking distance of some good restaurants. Clean, comfortable room. Attentive, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with lots of choices. Great way to start the day.
Excellent location, friendly staff, nicely decorated, very well maintained 4-star property in the heart of Miami. Breakfast was very good, real eggs in 3 different preparations were available plus many other quick breakfast options. Beds were comfortable. A/C was quiet but not as cold as expected. Pillows could be better. Nice room and bathroom size, good towels, and toiletries. Room comes with coffee maker and mini fridge. Valet parking $25, otherwise $15. Would stay here again when back in Miami.
Carolina and Aaron at the front desk during the night shift were INCREDIBLE! Very helpful. Carolina remembered me from the last time. She even walked to the corner with me to point out some good food options. Excellent staff!
Having lost my passport and missed my flight I needed quick accommodation. I booked this over the phone and they were very accommodating. All the reception staff were very helpful and friendly and made me feel just at home. The room was lovely as well with 2 double beds despite being only me. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars was the breakfast. The hot selection and cereal selection was poor although they did have waffles, bagels and a range of pastries. Everything was on paper plates and we had plastic knives and forks which I don’t think is that great when paying over $280 night for a room.
Poor Customer Service. Parking valet needs additional employees. Hotel needs some TLC. Not in a good location of town. Didn’t feel safe. Would not walk outside alone once dark. Midtown is not “Downtown” area of Miami
Loved this hotel it’s very modern, great location and the staff go way and above all other hotels we have stayed in.When we checked out the manager came over to talk to us and offered a reduced rate on our next stay. The spar, pool is so warm you could stay in it all day and relax.
We stayed at this property for two nights before our recent cruise. It is located approximately 8 miles from airport Our corner room on the 4th floor was huge! I loved everything about it. The layout was perfect for people with alot of luggage. The bathroom layout is equally impressive with the large sink area outside of the shower and commode enclosure. The bed and linens were heavenly. I also loved the portable small table at the couch. The tv may appear to be in an awkward spot in pics but was actually quite functional. Thre is plenty of window coverage for whatever level of light you want. The breakfast area is very nice and extremely clean. The choices were typical of most Hamptons. The pool area is small but has nice seating. The only drawback is there is MAJOR construction going on next door. The concierge was very helpful as were everyone at desk. We paid approximately 14 dollars total for transportation to the port. It was on time and on point. Within view of hotel are several fast food restaurants and a 7 eleven. Less than a mile behind the hotel is a very nice shopping area with many shops and restaurants. We easily walked there. It is less than 3 miles driving distance to Bayside Marketplace which we easily ubered to. It was not inexpensive to stay here but was at least 75 dollars cheaper per night than other hotels with similar reviews that were closer to port. I would stay here again. Picture is view from room.
My husband and I stayed three nights at Hampton Inn & Suites Miami Midtown and we were blown away by the staff. Kim (front desk) and Terry (manager) were absolutely incredible. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We asked to switch rooms due to the construction taking place, and not only did they work to make that happen, they upgraded our room to a beautiful corner room! Every time we came in the hotel we were personally greeted and they always made us feel so welcome. They even gave us snacks! The rooms were clean, breakfast was great and service was amazing! There is also an amazing shopping area less than half a mile away with tons of stores (even Target) and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again when in Miami!
