Hotel needs update lobby furniture outside too I have stayed here 5 times location good and it's time to stay somewhere else next trip to Miami

Very nice hotel, staff was wonderful. Really enjoyed my stay.

Not once I noticed anyone cleaning especially windows that filthy, Carpets stink and disgusting.

I spent a wonderful time with my family at this hotel. Excellent location, cleaness and service. The staff upgrated my room with no cost and I had an excellent oceanfront view. I definitely recommend it!

Mold in shower, sofa bed had holes and springs showed. Had to request towels multiple times, took 30-45 min for bags to be sent up. Hotel smelled of wet carpet.

At the time of our stay part of the hotel was under construction so our view was of a construction site and then the ocean. The pool and bar were both operational despite the construction and there was direct access to the beach and boardwalk. A little ways from the strip so if you plan to get around the city a car might be required although there are plenty of cabs available but be warned if you rent a car and don't valet then parking will be a nightmare as you are reliant on metered street parking. Other than that a pretty good value overall.

I loved this Hotel. The staff was very helpful. The ocean view room was more than I expected. This hotel has a pool, hot tub and a tiki bar in the back. The hotel is about 10 minutes away from South Beach, just a taxi ride away to some great clubs. I will definitely be coming back.

Our first time in Miami, booked this hotel because of Mariott name. I am a globe trotter and have traveled the world on business. Checking in: we had booked a standard room. The person checking us in was quick to sell us the ocean view for additional $ 50 per night. The standard city views were sold out so technically I should not have been pressured to pay that additional $ 50 a night. In my exp. if I ask for upgrade then tell me about it. She was probably doing her job to sell the Ocean view rooms for that extra $ 50 a night first. Breakfast: First day at breakfast the personnel very friendly and flexible. Whether I ordered from menu or buffet the price was same. Since we like our omelets done special way and not knowing we went to the omelet bar. Nice service that day. Well day 2 was another story. We came down and went to the omelet bar and the older personnel who happens to be a senior employee at the hotel threw a tantrum throwing his hands up and letting every employee there that we are ordering from the menu and went to the O bar and he said that if from the menu so it comes from the kitchen (don't understand what was the big deal). Next we see every employee there is staring at us. In the room: No microwave in the room. For the 3 days that we stayed there to be indefinite ($ 40 - $ 50) amount of money taken from my card for hold. Concierge: A female personnel on the first day (probably filling in) was not very knowledgeable. The next 2 days the male personnel was very helpful. We are definitely not coming back to this property.

The hotel was very nice but it was truly the staff that made the stay worth while. From the moment we arrived until the time we departed everyone was exceptionally friendly, helpful and kind. Marcus was exceptional at making sure we had our beach chairs, food and drink and anything else we could want on the beach. Tbd housekeeping staff was so friendly always offering a hello and a smile. The hotel was clean - just wish the light was a little better in the room. But the view on the oceanfront could not be beat! The gym was small but it gave me the workout I needed. We only had a 3 night/4 day stay - hit the beach, went to Key Biscayne which was beautiful and of course ocean drive was fun. Looking forward to booking our next Miami trip and we will certainly stay here again!

Hotel was not in the middle of all the party, but it was on 10 minutes away. Room was clean and cozy. Room 816 has the best ocean view. Will stay again.

The location was great. We paid extra for an oceanfront room but it was very small, outdated and the view was partially obstructed by the new tower. Front desk staff were very helpful in finding us a larger oceanfront room with an unobstructed view at no extra cost for the remainder of our stay. Parking was valet only and often busy. Valets were friendly but sometimes the waits were long. We enjoyed the great service Daniel provided at the adult infinity pool and it was nice having Carrabbas Restaurant & Bar on the property. Stefano was our awesome server!

There are two separate towers You definitely want to be in the ocean side The suites are small but the verandah attached to room 844 where we stayed is unbelievable Great staff

Hotel and staff were great! Made my friends and myself feel welcome. Free drinks and help with bags to your room. Towels whenever needed and for the beach as well! They let us check in early and up graded our room for free because of a cancellation. Couldn't have asked for anything more! Great people there!

Overall it was good, but construction to noisy. Location is very good.

Great place to just relax....Staff was always very helpful and friendly. A short cab ride to the clubs in south beach, but far enough away from the late night noise. Beach is right out back and if you get a ocean view room you wont regret it. Room was clean and AC worked well. Breakfast is served until 11:30am so u can sleep in late and Carrabbas Italian grill was great. Drinks a bit pricey but they have happy hour half price drinks every night. 4pm to 8pm.... Even better is the liqueur store next door !! And if you need to rehydrate after a night of partying...look for Tony on the boardwalk for fresh coconut. Nothing like sippin ice cold, fresh coconut water right from the coconut and when your done he will crack it open and scoop the meat for ya ! Great guy !!

A great hotel right on the beach. A long walk to South Beach and Lincoln Road, but good if you like walking.

Last time that I stayed at this hotel, the entire pool area was under construction. Needless to say they did a really nice job with the two new pool areas. Only downside of this trip was being surprised at being charged $13 per day for a chair at the beach and $19 per day for an umbrella. I was not charged these fees the last time that I stayed (possibly due to pool construction annoyance), but I was surprised by them. I was there with my two kids, and to get hit for $39 per day to sit on the beach (we passed on the umbrellas) is a bit aggravating when you are paying almost $400 per night for the room.

Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Nice location.

My girlfriend and I went for the weekend. I almost always stay at a marriott because they are Always clean and safe. We arrived prior to check-in and was hoping that they had a room available. They did I was quiet happy. The desk personnel was quite nice and they offered us rum punch and it was delicious a great start to a great weekend. The grounds were clean the two pools were great. The tiki bar was super convenient for lunch. However I live in New York and I didn't think there was anyplace higher. I was wrong be reAdy to spend a fortune on drinks and food. Everything is priced ridiculously high. So we did not eat again on the premises. Your better off catching the 2.50 bus not a taxi to Lincoln dr or anything else not on ocean drive if you want eat. Overall the view from our room was spectacular and we had a great stay! Highly recommended.

I stayed here with friends for Labor Day weekend. The hotel is centrally located in Miami Beach, with private beach access, and a quick 10 minute cab ride to South Beach. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. They even offered free rum punches and ice cream social! I would definitely come here again.
