Casa Grande Suite Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

The hotel is close to the beach and walking distance to all kinds of shopping. The suite was spacious and comfortable.

This hotel has one room with a balcony and should not advertise rooms with a balcony or beach view. Our room had a view of a wall. We ask for a beach view, of we were told this was not possible we would have cancelled. The sheets looked dirty and we shared our daughter's towel rather than wash with the teal color towels that had a beige tint to them. The shower nozzle needs to be soaked in vinegar it looks corroded. This hotel is not family oriented and the smell of weed was disappointing. On our day of departure, the people next door to us had a heated argument. We have never been so happy to leave a hotel, a one day stay was too much. I wish I could get my money back.

Oceanview rooms have a great view. It was a big room. Close to everything. However, you dont get any hotel-like amenities. No phone in the room. No iron. No pool. No gym. Its like renting an airbnb. Had to ask for towels. It wouldnt be first choice to stay here but I would probably stay here again.

Nice location, Staff was nice , Especially Ronney! The hallways do smell of smoke, but other than nice condo style hotel !

Location is good. However, it is horribly loud! All night loud ! Windows do not protect from any noise! It is impossible to sleep. Bathrooms are outdated , toilet does not flush , refrigerator is not working. Stuff is friendly and each morning they bake for you cookies

We were a family of 4 (adults) and requested the junior suite with 2 queen beds. However, when we checked in, we were given a 1 bedroom suite with 1 king bed and a sofabed. We were told that they sold out of the junior suite (even though we pre-paid for it). However, the 1 bedroom suite ended up working out well. It was huge, with a kitchen, living room, and separate bedroom. The sofabed wasn't all that comfortable, but it was worth having all the space, so we didn't mind.

third time in Miami this year.......wanted to try something different.....a huge king suite......loved it....thanks

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and the location was great. The room was lacking towels, soap, the furniture was very worn and the phones didnt work. However for the price, HUGE room, and location it made up for it. I would stay again but they didnt make me a loyal customer....maybe nextime...

The hotel check in time on the confirmation was 1:00 pm. Upon arriving at 2:45 pm, after fighting traffic for an hour and then paying $30.00 to have the valet park the rental, we were told that check in is not till 4:00 pm., and that no rooms were available in a quite unfriendly manner. I can understand the person at the front desk probably does have to deal with a lot of the unruly mob that was partying all day and night outside. So he then offered to watch our luggage, I wasn't completely comfortable with that but what choice did I have then. So as soon as I could check in, the rest of the evening up until the next morning when I checked out at 6:15 am it was nonstop noise and party. With three people still outside the next morning drinking while I left. The hotel is only if you are 21 and on spring break!

The hotel is located right on the main strip and right across the street from the beach. The hotel is in between two restaurants that haggle you every time you walk by to go somewhere. The hotel room was almost like a 1 bedroom apartment. It was spacious and clean. The one knock I have on the place being a non smoker is that it smelled of old cigarettes. Whenever the air conditioning turned on it would blast the smell throughout the whole space. My girlfriend and I woke up with very dry sore throats. If you smoke this place is right for you. If you are not bothered by the smell this place will work. If you cannot stand the smell of old cigarettes stay away. When I booked the room I didn't ask or look to see if there was a non smoking policy. I thought all hotels these days were non smoking. Maybe there is a floor or room that is non smoking. Also the hallways stunk of smoke. The room next door was very noisy. The people there were up to at least 6 AM. I think the living room tv in that room was on the other side of where the head board of the bed in our room went.

Excellent Room...very large and accomodating. It was more like a very large condo than a hotel room.

Place was clean and staff was very helpful. Are room was huge, and plenty of places to eat, drink and dance in the area. Will stay here again.

Had spa facilities but we were there to play on South Beach.Would be a great extended stay place. Full kitchen, lots of room to spread out.A little noisey late but that is the point of South Beach for the most part.Would go there again.
