Very disappointed we had to pay a $20/day resort fee when there were no amenities other than beach chairs. The place is being renovated and everything is unavailable…. No pool, no gym, no spa, no restaurant, no bar…. Nothing but beach chairs. Room was average. Renovation is supposed to be completed by the end of 2024. I’m sure it will be nice, but why charge a resort fee when you are not yet a resort?!!!!??

Nice hotel with great staff. All staff members were so nice from the doorman to the beach service. We were disappointed to find that the pools were being renovated, but we enjoyed the beach service. We would definitely stay here again.
I feel like I was catfished by the Hyatt Confidante and Orbitz. The pictures on Orbitz are very misleading. I thought I was going to a bright airy hotel resort, but the hotel is Holiday Inn level at best. Like the reviews from this year, the hotel hallways barely have light and the carpets are filthy. We booked an oceanfront suite with a perfect view of the ocean and the pile of construction rubble below. Now the good part, the room. The stand up shower head is awkwardly positioned which makes water spill over onto the bathroom floor. The Orbitz pictures give the perception that the room is carpeted, but it is not. The staff is nice, but not customer service focused. I ordered food delivery the first night and it never came. I tried again the never night, same result. The Fontainebleau is about 3-4 blocks away. Please book there if you would like a better experience. Don’t get sucked in to this hotel because of the price per night. You will get exactly what you paid for…You’ve been warned.
The property was under construction. I did get emails before from the hotel warning about the construction. But did not realize how loud the construction noises were. In future, i will not stay in a property under renovation. The a/c was noisy in the room. Breakfast was too expensive. There is a cafe right across the street for way cheaper and better options.

My 6th visit to the Confidante. Its one of my favorite hotels ever. I wish they still had free coffee in the lobby but otherwise amazing trip. Beautiful beach and pools and Mid Beach is better than South Beach, less Snookies.
Right on the beach, relatively quiet and peaceful, and good access to downtown/wynwood/design district.
All of the staff were so nice & kind! Just a fabulous place to stay!

Good value for the price. Mattress wasn't comfortable for a name associated with Hyatt. Bedding was okay. Other than that good location with amenities next to beach.
