I enjoyed all the animals surrounding us, like birds and Iguanas. Short walk to the beach, very quiet and very professional staff. The housekeeping could do some more work, was not always very tidy.

The pool area and beach were nice. The elevators were horrible and often only one was working at a time and we had to wait in line to get to our room. The valet also took FOREVER when we needed our car to get to the airport.
This was our second time at Riu. The staff was nice, the room was clean, felt safe, we all enjoyed the beautiful pool and it was nice to have the ocean within few steps as well. A free breakfast was included in our stay and it was a large selection that we all could choose from.
We liked the swimming pool, beach and facilities there. We didn't like the bedroom. Beds were absolutely not comfortable. The noises also near the door in the corridor seemed to be in our room.. so quite embarrassing when you try to sleep. Finally rooms didn't worth at all the price paid for. Never again in this hotel, better deals for sure at the same price elsewhere

I left some items in the room and did not get much help from staff to recover them I still didn’t hear back from them . When I had an incident like this in a different hotel lost and found had my item ready in plastic bag ready to return to me
Very nice room and property. Pricey but it is Miami Beach. I’d stay here again.
We stayed right next door at the Palms for the same price and it was amazing. This was a huge disappointment, dirty and really noisy. The rooms were very poorly insulated so you could hear EVERYTHING next door, and unfortunately our neighbors were there to party and we had an early flight to catch. Not worth the price, the only thing good was the location. The lobby reminded us of a bus terminal, the staff took 30 minutes to check us in and there was no heat. I realize it doesn't usually get cold in Miami but it was and we froze.
Started to show its age. Was impossible to get towels. Had to request towel cards for each person (and go back and forth as they didn’t tell us this) and then return them before going to room so you get to walk back dripping wet. Then two towels in the room for a family of 4. Hotel was just meh
the dinner service should improve dinner the cold meats I did not like the service
