Staff is very friendly, rooms are clean, felt very safe in the area, beautiful view and right across from the beach.

Fabulous art deco hotel right across the street from the beach. The breakfast was good--especially the coffee and pleasant staff.
The restaurant is really nice, they have free breakfast, an the staff is amazing and kind. Simple room small fridge for doggy bad, location right near the beach.
Located in the heart of South Beach. Very convenient to restaurants, bars, and the beach. The restaurant inside the hotel is called A Fish Called Avalon and is great. The free breakfast is a nice touch but wish it was available until at least 10:30am for us late risers on vacation. The property could use a little bit of updating but overall was a pleasant stay.
The staff was so nice and accommodating. The restaurant’s food was very good but WAY over priced for the amount of food given. Julio at the front desk was the best ever!!

Wonderful stay! Perfect location, right across the street from the beach and tons of restaurants. They provided beach towels and chairs, and breakfast. They had amazing service and let us check in early. Will definitely stay here again!
Avalon is a few steps to the beach, dining, entertainment, and shopping. Our stay included daily continental breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were super nice. I booked my tours right at the front desk. CVS is less than a minute walk to buy just about anything and it is open 24 hours. It was a great stay!!!
This hotel was the best at everything. Very friendly staff, who went above and beyond for my friend as we celebrated our birthdays. Had towels every day for the beach, had beach chairs in the room, and even had an umbrella for us to borrow. I truly appreciated all their accommodations.

I love the location. Didn't like that there were no waffles for breakfast, no gym, no pool!
Our room was very closed off from the views that we expected. The beds were not that comfortable, our bathroom toilet was not functioning properly, our television did not have any child friendly channels. I did however enjoy having fresh towels, clean sheets, and a clean room almost every day.
