I have been traveling to México City for the past 20 years. It means I have stayed in a lot of hotels in the DF and other cities in México . So far, this hotel is one of the worst in my list. My brother also stayed there for 21 days and we noticed there is a huge difference between same price rooms even though we bought the same package. His room was nicer than mine and I did pay the same price. Cleanliness is ok but no exceptional. I always found hairs on my bed and furniture. Though you can’t hear noise from the streets, you can hear noise from other guests, and the worst, from the staff cleaning. They talked loudly in the halls very early in the morning.

I booked this hotel out of need because the one I used to go to was booked. I knew that this hotel's location met my needs. However, the rooms are so small that I could not roll my suitcase in or I hit the bed. There was no room to place the suitcase so I used the top shelf of the closet and with a lot of difficulties I managed to place it there. Another thing was the bed... terrible rough sheets and a pillow like a rock. I traveled a lot in my life and never experienced such pillows. The night before leaving, there was a sort of maintenance work going on in the room above ours which prevented us to rest. The front desk was informed multiple times as we had to hear "we'll take care of it!" It still continued at about 2130 in the evening. This is unacceptable to hear loud hammering that late when people try to rest or sleep.

Hotel is in a good location, close to shopping areas and Art Museum Staff are friendly. The breakfast is ok... could be a little better.

Great hotel! Nice location, very clean and comfortable with a friendly staff.

Muy buen hotel,si lo recomendaria,lo q me gusto sobre todo la limieza en la habitacion,la atencion desde la entrada muy buena. La proxima vez que regrese vuelvo al mismo lugar.

Friendly staff and hotel is clean and comfortable

The positive: Convenient location only one block from Alameda Central Park. Affordable, small, but otherwise clean rooms. Delicious and inexpensive breakfast with a variety of dishes every day. Friendly and attentive personnel. The negative: right next to a night club with loud music until 4 am (avoid rooms in 3rd floor). Reduced garage.

I liked it. Close to everything nice clean next to a taco place which is very very cheap!

I really liked this hotel. I only stayed 1 night. I used Ubermexico to get around which was cheaper than letting the hotel call me an overpriced cab to get to the airport.

Once again, I had a great stay at Hotel Marlowe. The staff is lovely and the hotel the very best location for me. Twice they arranged a car for us at a more than reasonable cost and they also helped us set up the room for our son with a crib. I adore this hotel and the one time I stayed somewhere else in DF, I regretted it. I fully recommend this hotel.

Good value for your money, well located. some of the streets near by are not pleasent to walk but not dangerous of anything like that.

THIS HOTEL IS GOOD FOR LOCATION. IT'S NEAR THE BELLAS ARTES. ZOCALO TAKES 20 MIN BY WALKING FREE PARKING IS AVAILABLE. STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. IT S WORTH THE MONEY YOU PAID.

Clean, quiet, safe, centrally located. Great value if you don't need a huge suite.

I always stay here before flying out and it was great like always. The staff is very friendly and makes certain we have everything we need. And you cannot beat the location. I will never choose another hotel when staying in DF.

The Marlowe Hotel is located exceptionally well in the historical center of Mexico City. Within walking distance to the most relevant sites : Palacio de Bellas Artes, The Alameda Park, the Metropolitan Cathedral and El Zocalo.

The location is near to train station and China Town. The location is safety. The street are a bit dark at nigth.

This place is awesome it is clean, in a pretty good location, staff is helpful and is affordable. I will recommend any body to stay here.

We arrived late in the night due to our flight and the manager was not as we expected, he did not offered a smiled service, he was kind of un-polite but every thing else was very good!

Good location, clean and helpful staff. The restaurant could have been better.

Stay was pleasant, rooms are very clean, only complaint no air conditioning, overall experience was good for the price I paid
