good located hotel

Everyone

I booked this hotel out of need because the one I used to go to was booked. I knew that this hotel's location met my needs. However, the rooms are so small that I could not roll my suitcase in or I hit the bed. There was no room to place the suitcase so I used the top shelf of the closet and with a lot of difficulties I managed to place it there. Another thing was the bed... terrible rough sheets and a pillow like a rock. I traveled a lot in my life and never experienced such pillows. The night before leaving, there was a sort of maintenance work going on in the room above ours which prevented us to rest. The front desk was informed multiple times as we had to hear "we'll take care of it!" It still continued at about 2130 in the evening. This is unacceptable to hear loud hammering that late when people try to rest or sleep.

Hotel is in a good location, close to shopping areas and Art Museum Staff are friendly. The breakfast is ok... could be a little better.

affordable hotel in downtown mexico city.

Everyone

The positive: Convenient location only one block from Alameda Central Park. Affordable, small, but otherwise clean rooms. Delicious and inexpensive breakfast with a variety of dishes every day. Friendly and attentive personnel. The negative: right next to a night club with loud music until 4 am (avoid rooms in 3rd floor). Reduced garage.

great for layover

I really liked this hotel. I only stayed 1 night. I used Ubermexico to get around which was cheaper than letting the hotel call me an overpriced cab to get to the airport.

always my top choice in df.

Everyone

Once again, I had a great stay at Hotel Marlowe. The staff is lovely and the hotel the very best location for me. Twice they arranged a car for us at a more than reasonable cost and they also helped us set up the room for our son with a crib. I adore this hotel and the one time I stayed somewhere else in DF, I regretted it. I fully recommend this hotel.
