Lovely really - Got a great room - More of a suite actually! So big a comfortable even had a small balcony! Perfect. Had some recommendations from my server - Decided on the starters = Mixed Mexican -Half Bottle of red wine too.Food was awesome - Service too! $260 MX for all I could eat at 22H! Great value too. Comfortable bed, great nights sleep.Breakfast again in the hall - Super food and again great value!Highly recommend - The service from ALL the staff was great! stored my luggage free of charge whilst I went for a walk.Ordered a cab thru the Hotel for the Airport and was charged $220 MX .. got a room in the inner courtyard where seems to be the air conditioners are located and thus have crazy noise. also the room had no natural window wrong picking of hotel therefore room 1* location great style of hotel special but not that you must stay here gym too small if you stay longer and want make use of it would say better deal at holiday inn buenavista

Nice, well lit rooms, balcony and nice breakfast. Wifi and coffee in the room. Good A/C, water, friendly staff willing to help with anything.Nice restaurant/bar. Easy walk to fun places to eat, shop, and tour.

I stayed here a couple weeks ago when I was visiting friends in the city and going to the theatre. I felt comfortable right on arrival, as I was welcomed and checked in. The doorman walked me to my room with my luggage. The hotel isn't big and it has a quaint feel. The room itself was nice. I had a business suite room with a separate living room area with a desk, fridge, and microwave. The bathroom had a toilet and shower with the sink/vanity outside. The bedroom section was a good size with lots of storage space, plus an iron and a safe. There was a plug and USB plug next to each side of the bed. The TV worked well but only had a couple English channels. Most were only in Spanish. The bed was also very comfortable, with hard and soft pillows. My room had a view of the street. I wish the patio doors would have opened more than a crack so I could have stood against the rain to watch the street for a while. Even though English was not their main language, I never had any issues communicating with the front desk. They were very helpful and my wake up calls were right on time as well. The area is ok, it feels safe to walk around, even at night. It is mostly small businesses and residential around so nothing to worry about. Always use common sense but I felt fine in the area. There is a 7/11 open 24 hours across the street and the Hop On Hop Off Turibus stops just a block away if you want to do some sightseeing. There weren't taxis waiting by the hotel but I'm sure they could call one quickly. That being said, everyone seems to feel safer in uber, so I used uber and always had one within 5 minutes. About 6-8 minute walk is the Reforma 222 shopping mall with a department store, a food court, a Chilis, etc, so if you need a place close by, that is good. I also went to see Billy Elliot The Musical, and the theatre is at Centro Cultural, which is only about a 10 minute walk. Very easy and a great evening out at the theatre and an amazing show. If you are looking for something to do in the evening, I highly recommend it! Overall for someone new to the city with no idea what's around, I was really happy with this hotel. I felt safe and comfortable, and close to everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again when I return to the city.

Stayed here for three nights on business. The location is in a quiet area. The rooms are good -- no complaints there. But what made this hotel special was the staff. I don't speak much Spanish, and the staff doesn't speak much English, but that didn't stop them from smiling at me and chatting me up in Spanish. The front desk (of course) and the housekeepers were all friendly, but my favorite was the doorman. He really worked me out on my Spanish, but in a friendly way. We had a lot of fun with basic communication in a combination of Spanish and English. Apparently, you can't charge your restaurant bill to your room. I had dinner there and signed the tab with my room number. After I went back to my room and fell asleep, one of the waiters drug me out of bed and demanded I pay the tab, right now! I'm not really sure why this happened--probably a mix up in language. It was a bad experience, but it doesn't affect how I feel about the hotel. Just be aware that you need to pay your bill before you leave the restaurant.

Nice hotel, quiet and safe location. Dated, but recently renovated rooms. Spacious and comfortable. AC didn't work well. Restaurant was fair, but service was warm and friendly. Good choice depending on the rate available, and if the location is convenient.

Although the building itself, is not new, the rooms, hallways etc.. are all very newly renovated. We stayed 4nights in a KingBed Master Suite on the 2nd floor. The room was spacious , very nicely appointed with modern clean furnishings , a fantastically comfortable bed, very quiet air conditioning but no fridge ( Maybe the fridges are still to be delivered). I will point out that many of the rooms look into an internal central Atrium & may have limited natural light. Our room had an internal balcony but many rooms don't. The staff were helpful & we enjoyed The Zona Rosa location,

Stayed here for the first time while in business. Recently renovated, the hotel offers ~50 rooms in a traditional 'vecindad' style. A full service restaurant and bar complement the offering. Friendly staff, and the location is prime, just a five minute walk from Paseo de la Reforma.

We stayed here 4 nights while visiting CDMX. Our room was spacious with a king bed, large bathroom and additional seating area with a couch. Room was kept very clean throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, better than most Holiday Inn's in the States. The staff here is very friendly and responsive. We liked the quiet neighborhood with a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants in La Zona Rosa or on La Reforma. Will stay here again.

DO NOT stay on this hotel!!! Your luggage can be in danger from the sticky fingers of the housekeeping personal. My wife's engagement ring was taken from her luggage while we were outside (no in-room safety box). I spoke to the hotel manager and she offered all the help she could to investigate, but they couldn't do nothing without a police investigation that required me to stay in Mexico for another week. I didn't have the time for that and left the hotel hating the poor customer service that Holiday Inn could offered to a "platinum" customer. As it wasn't enough... the elevator was not working.
