Nice hotel, quiet and safe location. Dated, but recently renovated rooms. Spacious and comfortable. AC didn't work well. Restaurant was fair, but service was warm and friendly. Good choice depending on the rate available, and if the location is convenient.
Although the building itself, is not new, the rooms, hallways etc.. are all very newly renovated. We stayed 4nights in a KingBed Master Suite on the 2nd floor. The room was spacious , very nicely appointed with modern clean furnishings , a fantastically comfortable bed, very quiet air conditioning but no fridge ( Maybe the fridges are still to be delivered). I will point out that many of the rooms look into an internal central Atrium & may have limited natural light. Our room had an internal balcony but many rooms don't. The staff were helpful & we enjoyed The Zona Rosa location,
Stayed here for the first time while in business. Recently renovated, the hotel offers ~50 rooms in a traditional 'vecindad' style. A full service restaurant and bar complement the offering. Friendly staff, and the location is prime, just a five minute walk from Paseo de la Reforma.
We stayed here 4 nights while visiting CDMX. Our room was spacious with a king bed, large bathroom and additional seating area with a couch. Room was kept very clean throughout our stay. Breakfast was good, better than most Holiday Inn's in the States. The staff here is very friendly and responsive. We liked the quiet neighborhood with a 10-15 minute walk to restaurants in La Zona Rosa or on La Reforma. Will stay here again.
DO NOT stay on this hotel!!! Your luggage can be in danger from the sticky fingers of the housekeeping personal. My wife's engagement ring was taken from her luggage while we were outside (no in-room safety box). I spoke to the hotel manager and she offered all the help she could to investigate, but they couldn't do nothing without a police investigation that required me to stay in Mexico for another week. I didn't have the time for that and left the hotel hating the poor customer service that Holiday Inn could offered to a "platinum" customer. As it wasn't enough... the elevator was not working.
As IGH member I choose this hotel because I wanted to stay at the zona rosa in Mexico 🇲🇽 City. The front desk acknowledges me about the property remodelación and upgrade me at the 3rd floor for as mini suite. It was many issues into this renovated room, water liking, no elevator. I ask to be relocated at the holiday inn express fee blocks away but they cannot do it. The hotel staff very nice and friendly always trying to huelp and provides everything I need and fix few issues on the room. Hotel is far from public transportation (subway like 5 long blocks and busses like 4 blocks. Taxi service at the entrance I think over price considering how cheap is the peso towards the dollar. However, very good bed and quiet room to rest.
Holiday Inn Zona Rosa is off the beaten path. This hotel is set back in a neighborhood with not much around. It made for a quiets night sleep. However, the staff - Luis, Juan Carlos and all of the others really make this hotel special. Service in the restaurant was good. but the food the restaurant was average and didn't have much flavor.
I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in September and will forever stay here when I am in Mexico City. I used to stay at the Marriott La Reforma and this hotel has so much more to offer. The doorman/security Braulio is so nice and helpful. The hotel restaurant is excellent, I enjoyed my meals there very much and the service received from Daniel and Sandra. The rooms are large and most have a balcony or a great view to the inside of the hotel. This hotel has so much character, it is a great property and I cannot wait to go back to Mexico City. I also loved the area, it is walking distance to way too many attractions to name.
Great rooms, looks new and upscale - I got a great and spacious room, the staff is really nice and always helpful. The location is close by Reforma, so depending where you are doing business you can just walk.
The staff at this hotel is superb. The hotel is in a residential area next to Zona Rosa. Good restaurant, nice rooms and very quiet for being in the middle of Mexico City. I have stayed here a number of times and it is always good!
