For the price point this property is not quite worth it. It's a cool resort with lots of options. But its run down, staff is mediocre and overall not really at the level of others who charge the same price.
Overall, great experience. The only thing I didn’t like was the cleanliness of the room. It looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for a while. There were dead flies all over, the bath tub was messy with hair. Most furnitures had a deep layer of dust

We've been coming to the Methow Valley for 8 years and thought it might be time to give Sun Mountain Lodge a try. It was...fine, not our vibe. Crowded and the skiing wasn't great from the Lodge.
This property is in the beautiful Methow Valley. The lodge is surrounded by gorgeous topography: snow capped mountains, valleys, wild flowers, lakes, rivers, wild life. You are simply a visitor in God's country. Truly outstanding. QUIET, peaceful location where you wish you had a home!

The wrong dates were booked, it was supposed to be Saturday 6/5/21. We missed our stay.

When we arrived the guy at the desk told us we should book online because he didn’t know how to book a room for us. Then when we booked online he had no idea how to get us in to the room. Seems like he was filling in and had no idea what was going on. Wasn’t going to write a review about it until I got a message from the lodge saying that we missed all these amenities from booking their Orbitz. Great views otherwise
This property could not have been better! From the incredible views from our room, to the food, to the service, and the overall luxury and cleanliness, everything was first class.
It was a nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay. The restaurant could be better. It was hard to make reservations. But it was understandable since Covid-19 situation.
Sun Mountain Lodge was everything we hoped it would be . . . relaxing, clean, exceptional service, and exceptional recreational opportunities. We will be back!
