Petalidi is a traditional Greek coastal village, 26 km west of Kalamata. The town is colourful and busy. Life is focused on the main square near to a small sandy beach. On the main square you can find the church of Agios Nikolaos around of lots of trees and palm trees. Here are many restaurants and bars and also the most stores.
Petalidi originally was a fishing village. When you visit the port, you can still see fishermen with their nets performing their work.
