Staff unfriendly and unaccommodating

The room and facility were modern and nice. Busy road but I was on the back side so little road noise. The only major complaint is the very thin walls. You can literally hear the people talk, their exact words, in the next room. To dround out the noise, keep the HVAC fan running continuously at night. Bed was mediocre in comfort. A grocery store, donut shop and breakfast place (near grocery store) is walking distance to the right, about 4 blocks away. The rating of 8/10 is about right due to the bed and thin walls.
We loved the decor of our unit and the surrounding area was very nice and safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. Had all the normal amenities pool , jacuzzi, etc. which we used while we were there. Our only complaint was that when we were in the living room we could here the unit next to us like we were all in the same room. Other then that we really enjoyed our stay. They don’t offer breakfast but a short drive in any direction and there is plenty of places to choose from. We also brought our Keurig and creamer and the mornings were perfect for coffee and a walk around the property. If you get a unit with a jacuzzi tub don’t forget the bubble bath! It was super relaxing. I would stay here again.

This facility was very family friendly. Lots of programs throughout the day to participate in. The rooms were very clean. Our bed could use a new mattress. The walls were a little thin. We could hear our neighbors talking & putting their dishes away. This was our 3rd time staying here and the 1st time we have heard neighbors. Hotel was close to everything we needed
Stayed here 5 years in a row. Next year will be 6!
Clean and easy check in
Everything was fine and it was affordable.
You could hear every single conversation from the next room. I woke up the next day stepped in a puddle of water that was leaking from the fridge. The towels were dinghy, supervisor refused to help them lie about it.

The staff was wonderful and very friendly! The hot tubs and pool were very nice. The bed was very hard that was probably my least favorite part. Also the walls between units are very thin so basically no privacy.

The had the such friendly and helpfull staff at Westgate. The property was beautiful woth lots of things for families to do. The rooms were nice and clean. It was a great bang for my buck staying here. Loved it and will stay again next time we are in AZ.
Bed bugs were a large factor in my negative rating of the Westgate resort in Mesa from 4/26/21 - 4/30/21. We had two rooms, with my wife and I in one, and my brother in another. My brother woke up with a few bites the first night and didn’t put it together but the second night he woke up to bites all over his body. Head to toe. He went to the front desk and they gave him another room and immediately had him sign some kind of medical release which we can still not get a copy of to this day. It took the Westgate a week to give a full refund for the one room but better late than never. I called the health dept who just gave me the report from their inspection. The health dept told me that it was a large infestation that had been there for quite some time so I wonder about current cleaning standards not being up to par. To their credit the health dept told me that the Westgate plans to triple clean both of the rooms my brother occupied. Just make sure to always check for bed bugs in any hotel room you stay in. I would not wish what we have been through on anyone. And it’s not over yet...
I liked the fact that everything was so clean and the staff was beyond helpful i have no complaints definitely will book here again
