InterContinental Presidente Merida

The quality of the hotel was pretty good. Excellent location with no problems to get anywhere easily. Merida is a city with great weather and an outstanding view and history.

This hotel shouldn't be under the intercontinental brand, far from an intercontinental, is a shame,

Standard Hotel, good service, better staff always willing to help. Close to other major hotels and downtown. We did not try restaurtant or other services.

The hotel is very clean and the staff are really helpful. The area is very safe and it is mostly a tourist location and we can go around and walk pretty safely

Friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable beds. Rooms are old need maintenance, bathroom flooding, TV with static, breakfast is not the best. Pricey for what you get.

Beautiful hotel. The staff was fantastic. We enjoyed our time en the hotel and the ciudad. My parents would have enjoyed free refills on coffee.

The room was stylish, comfortable and quiet. The lobby had many holiday touches. Staff helped with locating church, airline boarding passes, excursions, and orientation. The breakfasts served in the restaurant are excellent as is its atmosphere. There is a beautiful outdoor pool in the courtyard.

When we first arrived at the Presidente Intercontinental, we were disappointed to see that we were quite a distance from the town square where all of the "action" is. However; everything else about the hotel was PERFECT and in the end we had no regrets! The service was absolutely amazing. The staff all learned our names on the first day and continued to greet us warmly and tend to our needs for the 9 days we were there. The rooms were very comfortable and the food delicious. We would stay again and definitely recommend it to others.

Just came in to Merida for the night after 15 days in the jungle (one week) and mountains (one week).Needed access for internet/business prior to the last leg of the trip. Business center staff very helpfull. Access was immediate.

I liked the hotel.

A first-class hotel in a beautiful colonial city. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a bad time with shower/water problems at a hotel in Cancun so getting to this beautiful room in Merida with a big bathroom and perfect shower/bath facilities was wonderful. The pool looked inviting but we were only there a couple of days and didn't have time to enjoy it. It's a bit hard to find and get to because of the round-abouts and all the one-way streets. You would be fine if getting there by taxi but we were driving a rental car and it took us a while.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and roomy. Cleaning service came at 7 pm 2 days and earlier one day only after a request. Was a nice hotel but definitely overpriced.

Classy hotel that was still kid friendly. Great location in downtown Merida near many shops and restaurants and all the car rental agencies. Staff was great. My 6 year old daughter thought it was awesome.

VERY COMFORTABLE, NICE PLACE I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

We were very pleased with our stay at the InterContinental Presidente Merida Villa Mercedes in Merida. Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner, the staff spoke excellent English and upgraded our room at no additional cost. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the room provided excellent sound proofing. The location was within walking distance to some tourist places and there were alway available taxis at a reasonable price to take you to your choice of other destinations.

The Presidente Hotel was a top notch hotel. The rooms were very spacious with a large bathroom that also acommedated anyone with handicap difficulties. The beds were very comfortable with large closets with an iron plus ironing board as well. The service was outstanding and the pool area was luxirous. The dining area could be rated as a 4 star resturant with a large and excellent breakfast buffet. The location was a bit far from the center of town but one could easily get a taxi or take the bus which pass by every 10 to 15 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted to expirence a luxury hotel.
