We were on a DIY. trip to Menorca,so it's a handy 10min cab from the airport, and 3 mins walk to the bus station.A pleasant walk to the harbour of about 15 mins. Hotel is clean, organised, good sized rooms, and a good varied breakfast. It has a lovely I'd a tad cold enclosed pool on the roof which is unenclosed when it get too hot. Then on a higher section loungers.Lift to all floors. A couple of bars opposite, which we frequented

Can't fault this hotel. Has everything needed for women. Starting from hair conditioner, hair comb, make up pads and even sweets and many more. Stayed in this hotel for a week and the only minus I've experienced is that bar staff loves to disappear for a good time. Maybe they are cleaning glasses somewhere, I don't know. The spa on the 6th floor is absolutely amazing and has a steam room and sauna. The food was different all the time, even at breakfast, which was a nice surprise. Big thank you to a receptionist who kindly explained how to walk to the city center and find Mango, he also gave me a map and draw my way. I would definitely come back and recommend it to friends.
This hotel is probably one of the few hotels near to the centre of Mahon. The Plaza Esplanade is only five minutes walk away. There are some very nice shops close by and many others just ten minutes walk away on the way to the port. The view from the roof sun terrace is quite amazing with a full view of the port and the historic entrance from the sea. All the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant is very good. the restaurant is self service with show cooking in the evening. Very good choice of dishes. The room on the fifth floor was very clean and comfortable with a nice view over the square outside.
The Capri is very much a city hotel and as such is pretty average, well located and the staff are friendly. We could not get availability at our usually preferred options, there was a good deal at the Capri and we did expect it to be more city focused but we were disappointed in a few areas. It is a short walk from the bus station and main square / shopping areas with a short-cut to the port via some steep steps. There is a nice work room / business lounge that I used in the mornings with charging points and coffee available, printing facilities and the staff are very helpful with any needs or requests. Our room was rather hot with air-con apparently set to 26* minimum (I believe there may be a regulation around this which is fair enough but it must be very hot indeed in high summer), our balcony overlooked a cross-roads which got busy from quite early - not a huge issue for us but may be if you are a light sleeper though the door was pretty well sound-proofed. The room was clean with plenty of storage, a good quality TV, basic mini-bar and service was good. The rooftop pool area was small, the pool very cold with the heating not used, there was a luke-warm 'hot-tub', sauna and steam-room which was nice but the latter was out of action on at least one occasion. You couldn't bring glassware up and had to take your shoes off on entry - all enforced by a friendly but firm lady at the adjoining spa. So really not the place if you like any more than occasional pool lounging. Also, the downstairs bar doesn't open until 4.30pm which we found odd in a major hotel but there are two nice local bars right across the street. Breakfast was a good continental selection and a slightly haphazard hot offering - my partner is coeliac so this is important and it was more than sufficient but have had better. There was gluten-free bread and cornflakes available by request - would be better if freely available but good that it was offered. Dinner looked like a reasonable buffet selection of the usual type but we like to go out. Overall it served its' purpose and I would return in the winter but there are better options for summer leisure trips.
This city hotel is very convenient for the centre which is 15minutes walk away. Out the front door turn sharp left then right and follow your nose.Very well appointed and the staff are efficient and friendly. Has a serious pool and a spa. Rooms are a generous size with plenty of storage. The bar is brilliant, like a traditional British pub with wood fittings wrapped around the bar working area and lots of space around the bar for groups to gather. Restaurant is down stairs and ok - breakfast choices are good. However the evening menu is a problem both in content and quality. The choices in the menu are bizarre and poorly presented. I was served an almost raw sausage which most will agree isn't good. My conclusion is a great hotel to stay in but eat out!
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and it’s always very clean and welcoming. Breakfast is included (buffet style) and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The location is fairly central in Mahon, and an easy walk from the port and main shopping areas as well as the bus station should you wish to explore further afield. My only criticism is the air-conditioning... I like a cool room, and with the outside temperature down to 19 overnight at the end of September, I couldn’t get the room below 23 degrees which is just a bit too warm for me to sleep comfortably. Apart from that, great place and staff that genuinely seem to care about their customers. I’d stay here again if I’m in the area.
Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms with spacious balcony. Very friendly, efficient and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast buffet and evening meals. Perfectly situated for exploring Mahon and beyond. Would highly recommend without hesitation.
We stayed 6 nights at this hotel, which is a handy 5 minute stroll from the bus station. It has a small rooftop pool with a separate jacuzzi and a solarium. The room was quite large with comfy beds, a choice of pillows, tea and coffee facilities and a good shower over the bath. The breakfast selection was very good, although on two mornings either the milk or the yoghurts were past their best and had to be replaced. We wished the location had been better, as it took about 25 minutes to get to the port area for boat trips, restaurants with views, etc. There are no nice views from the hotel, but clever marketing seems to show a great view of the city - this is from the pool area only.
Spending time in Menorca away from the huddle and bustle was fantastic and this hotel was the icing on the cake. The hotel has a very relaxing chilled out vibe to it which I loved. It has good modern, clean facilities. The room we stayed in had a nice balcony (although there was a loose tile jutting from the floor which presented a tripping hazard) it was modern, spacious and had everything you need. The staff were very helpful especially with touristy questions and the customer service overall was excellent. Location couldn't be better for exploring Mahon (historic centre approx 8 mins on foot). Also the hotel is only 2 mins from the main bus station which we found to be extremely convenient for exploring Menorca by bus. The breakfast was really good with a nice selection on offer ranging from a cooked breakfast to pastries, fruit, cereals etc and everything tasted fresh. If I ever visited Mahon again I'd definitely stay here again.
