This is a very good hotel in the centre of Mendoza. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and clean with the beds being truly "king" size. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. All in all, very good, though not quite special enough to warrant 5 stars.
Five star hotel with excellent service and location. Near the Azafran restaurant and Perin's icecreams (try the dulce de leche)! Very good shops near by. You could walk trhought the streets and parks.
This is a great choice for a hotel if staying in Mendoza. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is great. Rooms are a bit dated but decent. Breakfast had a nice spread. There was a small gym and outdoor pool as well, but it was too cold outside to use. Overall, a solid choice and one I would recommend to travelers visiting Mendoza.
Exceptionally nice hotel, and very well located. It’s near of good restaurants (Azafran, Cordillera 0 just across the street), and near the main entrance of Parque General San Martín (Park San Martín). The staff is very polite and helpful. Rodolfo was very helpful in scheduling tours to the wine producers (Bodegas) and to view the Aconcagua Mountain. The hotel restaurant is also good. I recommend the pork meet roosted for 5 hours (cerdo) I absolutely recommend this hotel if you are going to visit Mendoza
There is nothing wrong with this hotel, and I’d probably stay again as it is central, yet easy to find with on site parking. The staff were, without exception excellent, but the old fashioned, formal feel of the place was not to my liking. This coupled with poor housekeeping makes it three star for me.
We stayed with our business partners in July this year, it was extremely easy to arrange meetings with local business associates. It is centrally located and the staff was very attentive to our needs, even at 2:30am.
Situated close to downtown, this is a luxury hotel. The staff are very professional and friendly and the public areas are bright, airy and comfortable. I only ate breakfast here and there were many things to choose from on the buffet. The bedroom was luxurious with a large bathroom with separate bath and walk-in shower. The bed was so so comfy and there were plenty of electrical outlets. The flooring was a bit of a let down, as the wood had buckled, but this is where I will always stay in Mendoza.
My top floor room was quite large providing a beautiful mountain view. Great neighborhood location. I had the prix fixe lunch that was delicious/good value. Breakfast was also yummy with a variety of options. The gym was small yet functional/clean, pool was freezing in the winter (I plunged anyway) I had spa treatments; massage was weak yet the grape exfoliation was awesome, my skin was lovely afterwards.
We chose this hotel after much research, and were very happy from the moment we entered the beautiful lobby. We were upgraded to a large corner room with a great view of the mountains. It was huge and had a separate room with vanities, leading to another with a separate bath and shower. Our room was always kept clean and made up promptly. The front desk staff were very professional and friendly, and helpful when I had trouble printing in the business area. Martin, the concierge helped us to book a day trip to Mt Aconcagua, When we returned we left a jumper on the bus. We mentioned it to Martin, and it was returned 10 minutes later! Breakfast was a huge spread with all those delicious cakes which look like they should be at afternoon tea, along with many other choices. We also went to the complimentary wine hour, where you are offerred a taste of a local wine, paired with a snack, We walked to local restaurants, and always enjoyed our meals, although some were a little more expensive than in Australia. Next to the hotel was a great patisserie, and we could not resist their empanadas and pastries. You can also get a good coffee up on the next corner The hotel is very central and we found it easy to get around. I would love to stay their again if I ever visit Mendoza again
We arranged airport transfers through the hotel but they weren't waiting when we landed. After a phone call we were told 5 minutes. I called back 15 minutes later and was told to get a taxi and the hotel would pay. Not a great start. However! As soon as we checked in they were very apologetic and offered us complimentary coffee and pastries. This would have been a good enough recovery but when we arrived in our room later that day (we'd arrived before the room was ready) we also had a free bottle of champagne and a letter from the Manager apologising. That was definitely above and beyond our expectation. The room was very large with great views of the mountains (to be fair we did book and pay for the view). Very clean and well appointed. Super friendly staff and the breakfast buffet was very extensive. Lots of the best restaurants for dinner are located within a short walk so definitely a great place to stay.
