The cleaning staff is thief’s . We left a Bose speaker in the room. Call back to let them know so they can put it away safe until we put it up. Call back and the lady that answer the phone start giving us the the run around.

The hotel was nice. The location was good, right next to the interstate. Breakfast was good. The noise from the business (gravel pit?) behind the hotel was loud. Woke me up at 3:30 and I could not go back to sleep. It drove me nuts! The noise didn't bother the rest of my family who all slept like babies.

Pleasant experience, large clean rooms, and very helpful staff. The location was very accessible but there was not much of anything else in the immediate vicinity.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Several choices for breakfast, including hot food. Even though the hotel was full with fellow Iowa State fans, the staff was able to provide for whatever we needed.

Decent, comfortable beds, okay breakfast, easy highway access. Good breakfast

Could have been more accommodating. Noisy because of location to next door industrialized operations.

Traveled with 2 small dogs--love La Quintas for allowing that without any extra fees.. Small strip of grass to walk dog--sufficient. I liked that the had a doggie poop-bag station where you could get free poop bag and deposit doggie doos in the attached trash basket. Rooms were adequate--bed comfortable--just as you would expect at a decent hotel these days. Maid staff excellent--very friendly and the place is clean. Breakfast was fine except the orange juice tasted weird--lots of chairs/tables, beautiful water feature in eating area. Minuses: outdoor lights were bright and shone into the room between the curtain and wall--great for safety in parking lot, but made room too bright--minor problem--we survived. One of the side entrance doors to the building had no key pad and was unlocked for anyone to walk into during the night--I guess they thought that because it entered into the fenced in parking lot that they didn't need to lock the door--I disagree. but you could get in the front entrance 24 hours also and attendant was not always visible at the desk during the night--didn't like that at all, but again, no actual problem occurred due to it. All in all, very pleasant and affordable hotel.

The hotel itself is decent. But the noise from adjacent concrete plant is to be avoided if you want to sleep. They gave us a 3rd floor room on the end of the property adjoining a concrete plant. The mechanical noise from the concrete plant is very loud and awoke us at 5 a.m. the next morning. The noise is very bad. We requested a room at other end of the building and the staff was very helpful and allowed us to change rooms, but the new room was much smaller, and at a higher price. The new room also had wet carpet by the refrigerator, and smelled musty. The breakfast buffet is good, and well stocked with normal continental breakfast items. The staff was very helpful and very courteous, no complaints at all on that. They gave us a free shuttle ride to and from Graceland, which is about 6-8 minutes away. The biggest problem is for the price that La Quinta is charging, they should provide ear plugs or warn guests about that noise, which goes all day and late into the night.

Rough area of the city. The desk clerks at check in and check out were rude and dismissive.

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times as I travel to Memphis for business. It's very convenient to the Airport and to Graceland. The staff is always very friendly and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be asking for a room that doesn't face the airport. Fedex and UPS jumbo jets take off all night and I could hear them all night. In previous visits here I must have been on the opposite side of the hotel as I've never heard them before.

Love the experience!! Will stay back here.. clean rooms...will definitely recommend to a friend

This is an older LaQuinta and we were told that it may not be the best area in Memphis to stay. But we felt safe. Close to Graceland with a free shuttle. And the staff at all hours were friendly and accomodating. "Southern hospitality" in full effect here!

Must be in a bad part of town. Your car goes in a gated area ans there are signs everywhere to remove youe Valuables and it is not the hotels responsibility. Room smelled odd maybe the cleaning stuff they use.. I just did not feel safe in the hotel. Very small area along fence to walk your dog. Back door does to parking area does not lock for room key it is open all the time. But they do have a security guard there. Breakfast not the best la quinta breakfast.

I love this place. I felt so safe here. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here every time I visit Graceland.

Have stayed at this hotel 4 times over two years. Great place.

very pleasant and great staff it was very clean ..

Great customer service and a quality room and free breakfast!

I called ahead to check on my reservations for hours before arriving. Couldn't reach anybody for a whole hour finally stopped calling. I arrived at the hotel was calling them while I was in the hotel lobby nobody was answering the phone the phone was just ringing. They gave me a room on the construction side of the hotel which was too noisy so I asked for another room. I went to the other room as instructed and waited on young lady to bring the keys to open the room we stood at the room for about 15 minutes before I had to finally call downstairs and say hey I'm standing at the door of the room you told me to go to. The ladies that work the shift that I was there we're very unpleasant unprofessional and really didn't help in any situations. When I got into my room only had 1 face towel so I called downstairs for more towels and the phone was busy. So I hung up the phone call back 2 minutes later phone was still busy. Call back again five minutes later phone was still busy. Call back again after another five minutes somebody finally answered the phone and put me on hold. I was on hold for about 10 minutes and I could actually hear the lady serving other people in the lobby while I was on hold. So I hung up the phone went downstairs and when I approached the desk the lady told me to hold up a minute while she talks to another one of her fellow employees which appeared to be a personal conversation. By this time I was highly upset I finally got to speak to someone which was rude

Orbitz showed hotel to have smoking rooms and I requested a smoking room and have confirmation copy as proof. The hotel did not honor the Orbitz confirmed reservation for me.

All I expected for our comfort during our overnight stay was here. The room was large, clean and we'll maintained. Breakfast was ample. Very friendly cheerful staff who went out of their way to attend to our needs. The convenience (close to the airport) and price were excellent. Highly recommended!
