Stayed 2 nights and was aware pretty quickly we had made a mistake choosing this particular LQ. The young lady at the desk was rude. The room was large, 2 full (uncomfortable) beds w/ broken sleeper sofa, 2 bathrooms , (leaking pipes & dirty tubs) and toilets ran entire time. Both windows leaked! Yes it rained like crazy but seriously, BOTH WINDOWS LEAKED. Air conditioner in one side soaked the carpet where we had our computer laptop bag. Eveything inside was wet. The stairway leaked, apparently several rooms had leaks. NO ONE CARED or even responded to our issues. No blankets for the sleeper sofa. When we called for a "set" we were told we had to come down to get it. They gave us 2 thin blankets, one had a big black stain, no sheets, no pillows... Again, the same rude little girl working at the desk. Breakfast was pretty typical but the area is way too small for the amount of people staying. People were trying to watch the local weather, because of tropical storms, and another rude young lady almost pushed a man over to get to the tv. Told him only CNN could be on here. ? Dirty, musky, loud.... I know what to expect from LQ. I know it's not a 4star experience but they're usually pretty dependable. This was almost like we were being punked it's so bad. I didn't even try to talk too management. If they have a staff of people with such horrible attitudes, I know they don't care about customer service.

The Staff was great! The cleanliness was questionable! I stay in Laquinta's all over and was not impressed with the overall appearance of the facility. Hard to relax when not in a fresh, clean setting, the area that the hotel was located in also was questionable

When we arrived, there was no one available to check us in. The cleaning lady did answer the phone one time, but she did not speak English. When the clerk did return thirty plus minutes later, she said she had been at the airport picking up a guest (there were at least four check-ins waiting for her). In our room we discovered that there was no remote for our TV which had not been plugged in. My husband found the cleaning lady, who took a tv control from another room and to our disappointment, after plugging in the TV, we discovered that the TV WAS NOT high definition! The staff also had an auto from UBER parked under the overhang, which meant we had be in the rain tending our luggage. We appreciate Mr. Nick Patell, manager, did contact us and hope he keeps his promise to follow through and get a handle on his clerks. The clerk, Mahogany Phillips, had no idea the peril she had place the hotel and the guest in. It was really a sad introduction to La Quinta. If we were not La Quinta tried-and-truers we would never stop at a La Quinta again - No one being responsible when we arrived and poor attitude said to those of us who waited, “We were not important to La Quinta!”

We stayed one evening before flying home the next day. The hotel served its purpose, but I would likely choose someplace else if staying longer. Hotel is convenient to the airport right off the highway, but not close to anything else unless you have a car. There is a cement factory immediately next door as well, which I could imagine would be noisy, but we fortunately didn't experience any noise disturbance as it was the weekend. Hotel has been updated so the lobby, hallways, and rooms are nice and new. What is missing in the rooms, though, are mirrors (only one in the bathroom), towel hooks in the bathroom, and a closet and luggage rack. Breakfast is good with a variety of hot/cold items such as scrambled/hard boiled eggs, sausage, biscuits, waffles, yogurt, fresh fruit etc. But the eating area is small for the numbers of guests and it is busy. Breakfast hours are from 6-9 am daily, which is too early for a weekend in my opinion. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere and could appear a little sketchy, which is why there is a secured parking lot I'm assuming, but we encountered no problems during our stay and we were close to the airport, which was convenient.

We love this hotel. We have stayed here every time we come to Memphis, for Elvis Week, for weekend getaway, the staff is always so pleasant and helpful. We will stay here again when we return in August for Elvis Week.

Would recommend traveling a few more miles to the next LaQuinta. Musty smelling hallways and room. Nice view of a cement plant... Other LaQuintas have been great/better price/value. Usual nice breakfast.

This was just a stopover on our way to Lynchburg and other stops on our roadtrip. Just a place to crash; arrived late and left early. Did not linger in the Memphis area as we had been there before. It was conveniently located for our purpose and relatively inexpensive.

The staff was friendly and nice.The room was very clean and nice. The location was close to the Interstate and easy on and off. I didn't like that it was apparently not in the safest area and had to have a code to get in and out of the property after night time but I was glad that my car was locked up and safe at night.

the stay at this location has been improved... the food and the rooms have been improved. it is not a nasty stay, it is a clean and updated hotel. I remember going to the hotel a year ago and they were remodeling it and at that time, you could see it would be better.. don't like the computers. they need to update them.

This La Quinta could use some help. It is clean, out dated, close to the airport (as jets are flying over head at all times) very noisy traffic out front with a cement factory behind. If you are a light sleeper, I would not recommend this hotel. I don't recommend it period. Staff are very friendly, courteous and polite. Especially Belinda at the front desk. If you need a quick place to crash for the night this location is OK. However LOCK your vehicles and take ALL of your belongings with you into your room as I woke up and notice two Memphis Police Officers investigating two vehicle 'break ins'. There is nothing within walking distance ie: restaurants, entertainment. Do not expect to go outside for a work out / run. I stayed to the fitness center where the only machine that worked was the treadmill. The fitness center, if you want to call it that, really had nothing so I improvised. Breakfast is good, coffee is hot. My recommendation about here...NAH, go elsewhere. You'll be safer too.
