We stayed 2 nights. The hotel has nice furniture and overall condition but we were disappointed with the sanitary situation: the bathroom smelled bad, the shower curtain was gross smelling like dirt and mildew, the toilet was not thoroughly cleaned. The carpet in the room was not vacuumed. I always bring the Lysol and some disinfectant wipes with me on road trips so I cleaned everything myself. Since it is located right beside the airport, there is always a noise from departing planes, especially in the early mornings. The housekeeper knocked at the door in the morning and was insisting in changing towels because she is gone in the afternoons. Whenever we were going to check out no one was present at the register and we had to depart leaving the keys at their desk.

We were heading down to Memphis for a night and all hotels were booked. We were originally placed in a room that was dirty but the staff quickly upgraded us. They found us transportation downtown. We needed a place to stay for the night and this did the job.

No pizza delivery places except horrible chains. Room clean but hot water took a long time to come on.

when we first got there we had problems with the reservation about my rooms but everything was resolved quickly. upon our exit on sunday our car was broken into and the radio was stolen. nothing was done about it and i am yet upset. my daughter and son in law and my husband do not want to return. im trying to change their mind but to no avail. i was told to get a police report and the police would request the video but what is that going to do for us? we can't get the radio back and we might not find the guys that did it. hopefully you guys can give us free rooms for a weekend i think they would be happy.

I really enjoyed my stay at Knights Inn. It was very comfortable and private.

as soon as i got inside the room the odor is unbelievable, smells terribly ,dog odor, could be dog feces, urine, the linens are so smelly dog smell.the carpets smells dog feces, just awful.housekeeping services are so bad, not enough towels, soap.i always have to go down and ask, the towels smell too, dirty, not very clean i always go down and exchange my towels.they dont laundry them well,u will see the dirt very clearly they probably dont use bleach to remove the heavy dirts.they are now busy painting the trim outside instaed it make more sense to rip those carpets and put new ones or put in linoleum, vinyl, something . the odor have been heavily saturated in the carpets already the vacuming will not remove it. i have my aircond on constantly to help dispel the smell.but the best to do it is for u to file a complaint to the dept of health.people pay to stay but its unfortunate that we dont get our money s worth. pls dont put me there anymore.the owner or manager is tight w/ everything just dont want to spend to improve the quality of services.the linens are change every third day.not good.and they are not white for the most part they look light brown or khaki thats how bad it is.i usuallythrow out the towels ,wash cloth in the trash if they are not clean.and they will not give new ones if the old ones are not there.i said i put them in the trash.they are filthy.and the breakfast is the same each morning.i dont mind eating dry cereal because i love it. its always cherios, and corn flakesand the danish is same every day too, wrapped donuts, and buttered danish i never ate them.,juices of apple and orange are alwyas empty we have t o ask to refill themand they fill them up to two inches up never full or at least half full ,so people continue to ask , which is quite an interruption.and u wonder why he complains that business is very slow he says, nice manager very pleasant but not i prefer sanitary and cleanliness of the place.something must be done w/ this place before someone get sick. pls keep my name off of this ,thanks. my preference o hotel is super 8 motel on lamar ave.very clean ,good breakfast pleasant and accomodating staff.

I had a good experience staying at this place the room was clean, no smell or nothing, good people, nice coffee n breakfast, I stayed for 1 night at this hotel

IT WAS FAIRLY CLOSE TO MEMPHIS ATTRACTIONS BUT IN A BAD NEIGHBORHOOD.

Beds are hard as rocks, entrance is about 100 yards from a runway for the airport & I'm sure there were roaches. I didn't sleep at all because of the planes rattling the windows. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy! Do yourself a favor & pay extra for a different hotel.

When we checked in the hotel, the receptionist was very nice. She told us about an eating place because we havent eaten yet. We didnt make it to the restaurant that night but we made it the next night on Memorial Day. The food was great. Thank you to the receptionist who told us about the eatery.

Since we were only in the room to sleep and shower, this hotel was OK in a pinch. Would not stay here if we planned to stay around during the day. Free breakfast was chincy and for our 2nd morning, ran out of coffee, pastry and juice. Typical example of what you don't get when you don't pay.

You get what you pay for (Very little). The room was cheap and I wasn't expecting much. The smell of stale alcohol and cigarettes kept me from sleeping (although the room was non smoking). The TV didn't have a remote. The breakfast consisted of cereal and milk, a few twinkies, coffee and Tang juice. Very miserable hotel.

Just one day visit GRACELAD

I stayed at the motel for two nights with my father, and it provided us with what we needed: A peaceful place to rest after spending the days in Downtown Memphis. It was an ordinary, very reasonably priced motel with nothing special to it, as it is the case with the far majority of the chain motels. They are cheap and ordinary, and when you just need a place to sleep and nothing more, that is just perfectly fine! Breakfast was included, it wasn't too interesting, but again just fine compared to the price.

Hotel was in a really bad neighborhood! As long as you did not have to walk to get around and kept your doors locked, you could feel somewhat safe. Lots of Gangs in the area.

Noisy neighbors ruined Friday and Saturday nights sleep. A lot of noise from parking lot area also. Shower worked great. Housekeeping cleaned well. Microwave and small fridge was included. Next time I will chose another to be with a better croud.

Knights Inn in Memphis, The staff were friendly. Rooms were not real clean. I put 2 new light bulbs in but needed 5! Really need to use a crevice tool on carpet edges, they looked like they had not been vacuumed for months, need to vacuum under beds. Light fixtures were discustingly dirty. Cobwebs hanging from ceilings and walls. The good thing about it was that the bedding seemed to be clean. I liked that the vanity was seperate from shower/toilet area. The location was close to graceland. Neighbors said their room was full of ants. Iwould not return for the price we paid the room was not worth it.

I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THE HOTEL

If I had the chance to inspect the room before renting it there is no way I would have stayed. I already expected noise with it being so close to the airport, but what I didn't expect was the dirty condition of the room itself. There was dirt, food and dust piled into each corner of the room and along the baseboards. After seeing that I decided to look under the beds and wish I hadn't! Besides the filthy floor the walls had dirty hand prints along with what appeared to be food around all doorways. My stay was for 2 nights, I stayed only one night and found another hotel for the second where my feet wouldn't get filthy going to the bathroom. I'll NOT pay for a room again untill I have a chance to inspect it first.
