A real big complain is that the pool wasn't open yet even though it was surely hot enough for it and also online there was nothing said about it being closed during this time. The room was a bit dirty, so we cleaned it yourselves. However I kind of expect the people that live in the hotel to be an issue and they weren't, it was quiet and the room was updated as far as cheap hotels go.
Blankets had holes and burns in them. AC did not work. There was door slamming with loud music and fighting right outside our room most of the night. Seemed more like an apartment complex then hotel. Would recommend looking into other options if you are in the area.
Quiet until the weekends. More of a long term stay motel. it was close to where I wanted to be but I'll pay a little more for a nicer place in the future. No working clock radio and TV was just basic.
I dont know where the folks stayed on these reviews but perhaps I got the worst place at this dump. There was a huge hole in the bedspread. The carpets were filthy. I refused to walk around without shoes on. The towels were small and hard (thank God they were clean). There was grime and filth in the corners and what looked like bullet holes in the curtains. And to top it off, once the maids were gone for the day - the front desk did not maintain sets of towels. This place needs a MAJOR and complete overhaul. Or just knock it down and build something reputable. Please and thank you. Zero stars!
The hotels was extremely clean and nice. The staff was very friendly and had excellent customer service. The pool was clean and nice and breakfast was excellent. I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in millington
5 stars, based on comfort, service and amenities for the price I paid. It was worth more. I had a double room, with 2 queen beds. I don't know what the suites are like. Room was clean and comfortable. I really liked the beds and pillows. Towels were soft and thick the first day, not so much the next two, but still clean, fresh, and adequate to my needs. The A/C cooled the room nicely in mid-August. The staff was friendly. Breakfast had doughnuts, Raisin Bran, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, and biscuits and gravy, with orange juice, apple juice, milk, coffee, and tea, all at appropriate temperatures. 4 people in my party, and 4 towels in the room. 3 pillows per Queen size bed. Housekeeping did a great job of cleaning the room and making the beds. They had to work around the luggage of 4 guests, and did it well. Pool and surrounding area was clean. Ice machine worked well. Some long-term guests, but everyone I met was polite, friendly, and quiet. I called the hotel and got a better price than I was getting through the websites. I'll definitely stay here the next time I'm in Millington.
Having read nearly all the reviews here, I was a little unsure exactly what to expect. In town for a large car show, hotel options were limited. The most recent reviews here on TripAdvisor were pretty positive, so we gave Admiralty a shot. Our hotel room, outside the room, the lobby and breakfast room were all very clean. Being so hot on Saturday, we even decided to take a dip in the pool and it was shockingly clean and quite nice. The bathroom was very clean, stocked with plenty of towels, soap, etc. Our bed was very comfortable and sheets were nice, not stained or smelly. The breakfast was also decent - there were pre-made waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, biscuits and gravy and also a pastry tower filled with donuts that were nice and fresh. Despite the past negative reviews, it is evident that the new management has done a nice job, as I would actually recommend this hotel.
This place was about 30 minutes outside of Memphis and was a very good place to stay for a night for us. It was clean and comfortable and the pool was pretty good too for my son. I have no complaints about this place and would like to specifically thank the front desk attendant Michelle for her help on our request for early check-in. Although she couldn't get us checked in any earlier she accommodated us with a larger room for my family which was well appreciated. This place definitely remembers how to treat their guests! I will most definitely stay there again next year.
Filthy! Lights didn't work, carpet disgusting, walls dirty, bathroom was so unclean, former customer left garbage in room, so obviously the room had nor been cleaned in between customer stays. Looked like it was more of a transients hotel.
Just don't. Called days ahead to reserve two adjoining rooms. Got here and was told we were "upgraded" due to a mistake made with the reservation. Cost was $164 for one night. I feel sick about the waste of money! It is a drive to Memphis, which is fine. The positives--desk clerk was apologetic and friendly. The negatives-not very clean, way too expensive, not as safe as I'd prefer, not what I thought I was reserving at all. I recommend the HomeAway app, which is great if u can plan ahead.
