I get that it's a low-budget property. But this was beyond unacceptable. The room had a weird smell. The floor planks were peeling, there were holes and poorly repaired patches in the wall. There were cobwebs on the window frame, and the entry door was filthy. The room was freezing and the noisy heater took forever to warm it up. The sink faucet had three speeds: off, dribble and jet blast. I couldn't sleep because of the noisy heater cycling on and off all night. The mattress had a huge dip in the center. Uncomfortable to say the least. There was no way I was going to say all 4 nights I was in town. I checked out after my first night and moved to a much nicer hotel next door. The fellow at the front desk was polite, so no issues there. The neighborhood was fine (I'm from the area originally) and I expected a MUCH NICER facility.
It was nice enough for a night stay
Great location. Lots of dining around. Hotel was nice. Clean. Laundry areas need some attention. Floors were a little dirty.
Easy access to I-71. Several restaurants nearby.
The good: Truck parking was good. Restaurant next door was awesome. The room was clean. The bad: Cane out from checking in to a police officer looking for an elderly man who wandered off from a local nursing home (not really a big deal). Then, after dinner, coming back to a parking lot full of cops and an ambulance for one of the owners relatives, who lives in the hotel, overdosing. I spoke with one of the officers afterward who informed me “this is a busy place”. Not good.
This is my second time staying here. My first time was a room with two queen beds. This time was with one queen bed. The 1st room was far nicer than this one. This one is much smaller. Otherwise it's a good place to stay overnight.at a good price.
Was there for a funeral, I wasn't at the room too much.
convenient, good price, and quiet but parking lot was full of ruts/holes and there were paint flakes from the building laying all over the parking lot
How a dark colored carpet can have visible stains is beyond me. We walked into the room and immediately noticed the carpet stains. Walked in a bit further and saw multiple holes in the wall, the bathroom toilet was stained and looked awful. We later pulled the top sheet off to find 6 inch stains on the bed sheets! Thankfully we were there for one night but the grounds were so unkempt, pot holes and broken concrete with loose gravel throughout the property. This is NOT a 3 star hotel and NOT worth the $160 I paid.
Henry was very personable. Totally made check-in super easy.
We have stayed here before and liked the location and the service.
Room smelled of smoke even though we requested a non-smoking room. Even had ashtrays on the table. Beds were totally broken down. Some kind of domestic disturbance at 3 a.m. woke us up!
Room smelt like smoke. Found some bugs. But overall decent for only staying the night.
