Sierra at the desk was very helpful we needed things and she stop what she was doing to get us coffee packets our tv was not working and she tryed to find another room for us. I would stay her again and I would tell everyone that was traveling to stay here.
Room was as advertised. Very comfortable, clean, quiet and hotel staff were very helpful and attentive. Sierra was pleasant, offered helpful directions, served breakfast and was there when we checked in and out.
Was referred to this place by a friend and glad we found this place. Great Clean rooms , very convenient right off the freeway too Highly recommend it to travellers or anyone looking for a great place to rest yourself
From the moment you step under the carport over the main entrance and the sun's glare on the glass of the automatic doors is reduced to nil by the lengthening shadows created by the setting sun, you can see Karen just inside behind the counter and the smile making its way across her face is your first indication that your stay here will be a good one. I've stayed here lots of times and over the years, Karen has made an effort, and succeeded, to remember the names of many frequent visitors, including mine. Karen also goes out of her way to make sure her guests are happy. Just tonight, she noticed I was running later than usual and so saved me two cookies, because she remembered I am an enthusiastic cookie consumer. This last summer, I saw her doing the laundry of the guys out fighting wildfires so they could concentrate on sleep and protecting our wild lands. This is some seriously next level caring and service! So, if you want to stay where you will truly feel welcome, roll on in to the North Medford Comfort Inn and let the always pleasant and beautiful Karen hook you up with a clean, comfortable room for a fair price.
The staff was very friendly. The lady at the front desk was nice, and accommodating and she made cookies everyday around 6pm that made the whole hotel smell wonderful!!! Upon getting into my room I was mildly disappointed that the TV didn't move...like I could angle it to face the chair, It would only face straight forward at the bed. So for the four days I was there I watched TV from the edge of the bed. While we're on the subject of the bed, lets chat about that. I brought my own pillows, and thank goodness I did. Because these ones are awful (as is expected with hotel pillows, that's why I brought my own). But the bed itself was even worse. After my second night of staying there I pulled the blankets back to find that it looked like a canoe had been carved out in the spot that I slept in. It was also a very squeaky and loud bed whenever I rolled over. The toilet paper holder was also very loud! It was metal, and when you unrolled toilet paper it would clang. I could hear the people in the room next to me unroll toilet paper every time they went to the bathroom. They also allowed animals at this hotel. Which is okay. But I think this has caused a flea problem. By the time I left I had five very itchy flea bites on my feet and ankles, gross. Another downfall, the only ice machine is downstairs on the first floor. So anytime you want ice or anything from the vending machine, you have to take the elevator downstairs. Or you could walk I guess, but I couldn't seem to find the stairwell.
You can see this place from the street, but there is NO WAY you can find the road to its parking lot. The area is under super HEAVY construction and the roads around it are atrocious. We circled at least three times for nearly 10 minutes before we found our way into the parking lot. There are many mis-leading signs telling you where it is but none of them are current. Your GPS will not know this. The parking lot is full of huge trucks. So unless you got a geo-metro type of car, good luck fitting yourself into a parking space. Rooms are ok, typical motel set up.
We just stopped here on our way to Crater Lake. Check-in was very fast and easy. Close to many restaurants as we really just wanted to go to In and Out Burger. Easy drive to the park the next day. Good, quick breakfast. Thank you for a great stay.
Difficult to locate even with GPS, but has central access to several area attractions. Rooms clean, large enough, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was poor quality. Coffee so weak you could see the bottom of the cup, ok so I love my morning coffee. Apples were Saran wrapped, bananas needed to be replaced, just not good. If you want a clean in and out hotel this is fine. No self serve laundry.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were clean and accessible. The breakfast was good and filled us up before leaving. It is a very comfortable hotel and we enjoyed our stay there.
Traveling for 2 weeks and passed through Oregon. Chose this location based on price. The hotel is not aesthetically pleasing. It could use updating. The room basics were clean, beds, bathroom, etc. The carpet had some stains. The room had a mini fridge and microwave. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. The pool area was clean and the pool was heavily chlorinated. The breakfast had many choices, yogurt, fruit, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.. The area to eat was small about 4 tables but clean. The room and overall location of the hotel was quiet. It is located in an awkward location behind another hotel which makes it challenging to find. There are plenty of restaurants, stores, etc in this area. If you want to go hiking the trails are about an hour away. Overall if you want a nice place with lots of frills and extras you might want to choose another location in South Medford. If you want a night to stay at a decent location to get a good nights sleep then this Comfort Inn is a good choice.
