10 minutes from airport, walk to federal courthouse, diagonal to Salt, very nice restaurant. Everyone wonderful. Is in old mission bldg. from 1918.

we loved the ambiance of the hotel. the rooms were clean and very comfortable.

This hotel was lovely with courtyards in and around the hotel. Great attention to detail was apparent in decorating and upkeep of the hotel. Staff was very friendly and the attached garage for parking on site was very convenient.

Humidity in McAllen is a constant problem. That being said, the hotel was damp and musty. Needs better pillows.

didnt expect a nice hotel like this in the valley.

Casa de las Palmas is an excellent place to stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and hacienda style hotel. we will defiantly stay here again because unlike other hotels in McAllen this one is quiet and CLEAN.

It is a beautiful hotel, but I have to change to another room because of of terrible smell of gas in the first room. The new room was better but they forgot to put shampoo in the shower, and another mistake: I order a breakfast in the night for the morning and they forgot to bring it to me.

Great service! Friendly staff! Comfortable, well-appointed rooms.

We enjoyed restful stay. The room was so comfortable

room smelled moldy, and I can still smell it on my clothes. It was nice that I could open the windows.

It was wonderful.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Originally we are from the area & went down to visit family. Our stay at Renaissance Casa de Palmas was relaxing, peaceful and we learned some things about McAllen history that we didn't know previously. It's great that they are building up an Arts District within walking distance of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean & quiet. For breakfast, we had the Lemon Souffle Pancakes with Raspberry sauce...it was so good! We like that this wasn't your "run-of-the-mill" hotel, it has it's own charm. If I have a complaint about anything it's just the the coffee maker was so small & we really enjoy a mug of strong coffee in the morning. It was a real plus that the soap, shampoo, conditioner & lotion are Aveda products. We felt overall like we had a mini-vacation & will for sure return.
