We were attending to a family event, staff was supportive and cooperate to make it unforgettable.
great hotel with great views.my kids loved the pool area. the staff is very nice and helpful. the room was very clean.
Awesone stay but I found two problems. First, the gym was not good enough because the floor is made from plastic materials and the weight room is closed most of the time...The schedule is 8 to 5 the rest of the time is close and it was not good because I like to work out at the morning and during time after 7pm. Because this room is closed most of the time is very stinky to chemicals that does not help to work out. When I tried to work out my first two days after 5 minutes I started to feel sick with a lot of nauseas due to the chemicals stinky in the room...They should improve the schedule service, the room ventilation and replace all the old equipment and get a better new one. During the night the security team are very unrespectful and they need to improve because several nights I went to the Oyster and in my way back to the room they always stopped me and ask for no appropiate questions etc
Friendly staff. Great location. Awesome value for this hotel
The location was good within walking distance to store, sports bar, etc. The staff were nice and helpful, with some that could speak English. I enjoyed the swimming pool with plenty of room.
the room was like a motel 6,small,no frig, the music from joes oyster bar was very loud untill 3am.the breakfast buffet for $13.00 was not what I expected for the price,it did have wi-fi.I would not stay there again.
The beach location is wonderful, notwithstanding all the beach vendors who are there all day. I had heard about the noise from the adjoining bar, but when I turned the AC on low I couldn't hear the music any more. it did go on until the wee hours of the morning, however. That noise was nothing compared to my next-door neighbors who yelled, banged, sang, screamed, and partied most of the night. In spite of the noise, I would stay here again. It is a very good value.
The mattress in our room was the best we've ever had at a hotel. The pillows were uncomfortable. The coffee maker didn't work, but was replaced at our request. The maid was wonderful, and brought extra pillows and towels at our request. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. I would definately go back here.
Joe's Oyster bar and another bar across the street will keep you up!!! don't plan on sleeping till 3 AM
Ramada is the place to be in MZT, period - I don't think there is another place there that offers the location, entertainment, etc. - feels like an all inclusive resort for the price of just a hotel. We had booked another hotel in Mazatlan, only to find that we were the youngest guests and it was not our style - looking for something more exciting with energy. My friend and I are both young professionals in our 20s/30s looking for classy digs with lots of comforts. We changed to Ramada Resort on the 2nd day, which was an incredible experience - very luxurious, beatiful property - great staff, restaurant at the hotel was incredible - this property actually has 3 restaurants and one beachfront bar - Joe's Oyster Bar. Joe's was a really fun place to hang out on the beach, music was great, beach volleyball on the weekends, etc., situated far enough away from rooms to not be disturbing at all to anyone not interested - very well managed and run. This is definitely the place to go in MZT if you are young / young at heart. Every guest was very pleased with the service and enjoying themselves, the security and the amenities of the property. We felt like they did a great job of making sure that hotel guests only were using the facilities. Would definitely go again.
The hotel is very clean. The rooms are not elegant but very simple. The best view is on the 8th floor. If you don't enjoy music at night this is not the place for you. Joe's Oyster Bar is right next door to the hotel and you can hear music until 3A. The hotel restaurant has a great view of the ocean and a reasonable priced buffet. Don't pay $40/per person for your ride from the airport as recommended on some sites. I paid $25 for my husband and I together in a taxi. I was really glad I didn't pay this is advance.
This is a beautiful, affordable hotel in a great location. It would be paradise except for the fact that there is a noisy establishment on the premises that doesn't stop blaring music until three and sometimes four in the morning. Bring earplugs!
