great location and value close to the beach, shopping, golf and restaurants.

I was asked by the night hotel clerk if I ever stayed in their hotel. I said no, however I had stayed twice before and the clerk then brought out a form for me to sign for $14 a day recreation fee. And another $140 for a cleaning charge after I checked out. No service while there and the big pool and recreation area was closed for remolding?? Prior stays never charged me for cleaning after checkout, since the hotel charges the owners of the time share. It was a shake down. And charging for a facilities that were closed for construction?? What a shake down.

When we noticed the ceiling was leaking after we spent the morning on the beach we call and reported it. The quickly fixed it, but the remaining of our stay you could smell the odd odor coming from the wet ceiling. Then we started noticing the other spots that had fresh paint over previous leaks.

We were greeted with wonderful Hawaiian hospitality. The staff was helpful because our room was not what we needed and they upgraded us to a much better room. They do have a shuttle down to the beach, needed because the hotel is so far from the Kaanipali beach. The room was wonderfully quiet, even though it is close to the highway. Everything we would need was in the room. The beds were perfect, and the AC worked great in the hot humid summer.

We had a wonderful week's stay at the Maui Eldorado. Rooms are very spacious and it was nice to have a kitchen and large lanai. It's defiantly worth it to pay the extra $$ for the Partial Ocean View. It's a ways back from the beach but once you get there there is a nice bungalow to hang out in all day with a great beach for snorkeling. Great for families looking for a laid back time without all the extra hidden fees the large hotels charge.

We really enjoyed the Maui Eldorado. The room was great; comfy bed, beautiful shower, nice lanai with view of golf course, ocean and sunset, well stocked kitchen with all the basics. The room seemed pretty clean, except the floor. First room had problem with washing machine, but staff had us moved in just a couple of minutes. A little bit of a walk to the cabana, but not terrible. Great location, close to Lahaina and Whalers Village. Fairway Shops were very close; rent snorkel gear (pricey but super convenient), and good breakfast at CJ's diner/deli when I didn't want to cook.

The room has a full kitchen, great for cooking. We have breakfast sausages everyday with fried eggs. About 5 mins walk to the beach, and 10 mins walk to the black rock snorkling spot. Essentially, it is a great combination, just as we needed. The staff is very helpful, but expect to change your own towels at the housekeeping department. There are some salt/pepper, coffee cream, sugar, and we stocked up our own laundry detergent, cooking oil, and of course maui coffeee.

Staff: cheerful, helpful, efficient. Room: superb location (we are E-Block converts ... it suits our needs, most especially on the ground floor); air conditioning noisy (the only downside) Location/Transport: ideal Would like to see rubbish and recycling bins at regular intervals so that day-to-day rubbish can be disposed of. This was our second visit. we came back because of our excellent experiences first time, and intend being back again. Thanks. Sheryl and John Meijer Room E105

The hotel was really nice! My room was spacious and comfortable and I really liked how there was a washing machine and dryer. I could dry off my bathing suit before packing it in my suitcase :) The worst part about my stay at this hotel (and I know it's not really the hotel's fault) was when I was walking down to Whaler's Village, there were thousands of tiny bugs on the path all flying around and I had to like run right through them and then there were a bunch of dead bugs on my face which was quite disgusting.

It was nice but because it seems to be a time share, the parking situation is less than ideal. The parking near my room was always taken. They have a parking structure but a little walk or the staff will come and get you by golf cart, inconvenient if you are coming and going at all hours.

Enjoyed our stay. Location was excellent. Had the choice of quiet relaxation or more activity within a few moments walk. Close to beach, golf and recreation. Private Beach Cabana for guests. Clean and comfortable.

Great place to whatch whales from the beach cabana

Beautiful, spot on the golf course. Had a good experience here. The only complaint we had was that you have to let them know that you want full housekeeping service. They only take out the trash make the bed and give you clean towels if you do not tell them you want the full service. There is no charge for full service. Everyone is very nice and also very helpful.

We go at least once a year there. The friendly staffs make you feel very comfortable to stay there. The location is nice at Kaanapali beach.

The condo was nice and well kept, except for the fact that our dish washer and dryer didn't work. We complained about the dish washer not working the first day but it never got fixed. We didn't notice that the dryer didn't work until the day before we were supposed to leave and they were not able to fix it right away. It was disappointing but we still like the condo and the surroundings. Staff was very nice, but I would ask for full maid service next time (not just towel service).

The Ourtrigger Maui Eldorado was perfect for the 15 day get way! Perfect location, wonderful helpful staff and the room was outstanding.

The rooms are very large and so is the balcony! That was great when you have two teenagers. It was also great to have a washer and dryer in the room.

Our experience at the Outrigger Maui Eldorado was great! The staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. The rooms were very spacious and I loved that it had a full kitchen and washer/dryer. It made our stay very convenient as we were able to purchase water and groceries/snacks and store in the fridge. I would definitely stay here again.

Check in was easy and staff was friendly and informative. Our room was great for the 2 of us. It was clean but it smelled a little musty inside. However, it was nothing a little Febreeze and opening all the windows couldn't handle. If you are staying in sections A-C, there is a small parking lot for you to park in, but spaces are limited. If it's full, you have to park in the structure and walk a little ways. Cleaning staff did a great job every day and they gave us fresh shower and beach towels every day. There is Internet access in every room, but it isn't wireless, thus making my iPad useless. If you need to use the Internet, bring a laptop instead of an iPad. Other than that, enjoy the proximity to everything, the cheapest rooms in Ka'anapali, and the nice rooms at the Outrigger Maui Eldorado. I'm coming back for sure!

I loved the Eldorado! It was spacious, I asked for a studio room, and wasn't sure what I would get, but it was a double bed (I requested a king, but didn't ask to move because I liked everything else), a couch and coffee table, breakfast table, full kitchen, washer/dryer, and huge bathroom. We also had a patio, and right outside our patio was a small pool, and it was so pretty! The staff was warm and friendly every time I needed anything. The cabana on the beach was a 5 min walk, I did ask for a ride to the beach and back once when my ankle was twisted, and they came w/the golf cart within a minute or two. Snorkeling by black rock was the best! Be careful, there is a current that snakes around the rock, one time we had to let it take us to the Sheraton side to get out...no big deal, but just be aware that it can be strong.
