Kamaole Sands - Maui Condo & Home

The condo was very nice and had everything you needed for our stay. The was only a full size and needs to be least a queen size. The road on the lanai was very noisy.

Be careful and double check your email. Maui and condo never emailed me the door code and I had to call for it.

The island was beautiful ..... the area was perfect, quiet but had everything close

Perfect! The only request I could possibly make is for more hot water..... this has been a request on every trip and stay here.

Good amenities. Had the essentials. A bit outdated but I was there for the beach.

Close to a fabulous beach with family atmosphere and plenty of small children. Very pleasant and clean appartment fully equipped. Resort is special and beautiful landscaping. We were 3 minutes to a large pool complex and only 9minutes walk to the beach.

This was a great place overall. It had all the basic things needed to make our stay comfortable. The washer and dryer came in very handy. They even had detergent and dryer sheets. we had brought our own though.The beds were very very comfy, with extra pillows in the closet. The staff was very friendly. Especially when i called to complain that the microwave was not working anymore.They replaced it in a reasonable time frame.The condo had extra towels for bath and beach in the linen closet. outside on the patio there were beach chairs ....a little old and worn looking. But they served their purpose. There was also boogie boards and other water and beach toys. The pool was very nice and clean. The property is well kept. They even have free breakfast the first morning after you arrive down by the pool area to give you an orientation of the island and activites. Which I thought was cool. The only thing I found missing from the room, was a functional ice chest. They had a Small cracked styrofoam ice chest that held 3 drinks maybe. We ended up buying a bigger one used it for our stay and left it behind for other families to enjoy. We stayed in 5-406. but other then that, it was a great stay! And we had a blast! I have stayed at the Kamaole Sands at least 5 times and always have an enjoyable stay. Rooms are clean. Grounds are beautiful. Check-in and check-out very easy. And you are right by the ocean.

This is the second year we've stayed at Kamaole Sands and again were completely satisfied. We had a garden condo with an incredible view of the constantly tended greenery, flowers, and waterfall. The barbeque facilities are incredible with ample, always clean barbeques and tables adjacent the open grass/garden areas - a great family orientated facility. Ample security was evident and quiet times were observed which added to the very relaxing atmosphere. Located in South Kihei across from the three, public Kamaole beaches, there is easy access by car to nearby shopping centers, and other, less crowded beaches with incredible snorkeling, and other ocean activities. Even though we didn’t use the pool and other provided facilities, they were well maintained, very clean, and utilized by many others.

Hotel has a very good location in Kihei. Nice landscaping and good tennis courts. Bedroom needs an air conditioner, as got very hot at night. The biggest issue was that the bedroom faced the parking lot and would get loud at night or early in the morning with the windows open. Windsurfing at Kanaha Beach was fantastic!

As a first place of stay of our trip to several Hawaiian Islands, we stayed at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always gave us kind information on cooking Hawaiian food and enjoying and driving the area. That was a good place to stay.

The facilities are great and we love the location. This was our 4th time to this facility and we will definitely return. The only issue we had is that the King Size bed in our room was like sleeping on concrete. Very uncomfortable. The hide a bed sofa was more comfortable. Could use an overlay pad or something as the mattress appeared to be fairly new.

The room itself was okay. No maid service and we found to be the only complaint. Great location right across from a good beach and snorkeling area. Walk to some places to eat and shop.

Upon arrival we were given a room that was bad. Carpets were soiled and smelled of moisture and mold. Lanai had not been cleaned and entire place smelled awful. When I complained the staff at service desk was rude and told me that is "none of their business" and directed me to a phone number for Maui Condo and Home. I was then put on hold before finally getting to talk to someone. Then gave us a choice of several condos which had old appliances. They informed us they won't issue any refund and that we need to settle on one of these condos. Condo we chose had decent location, yet most appliances sorely needed update and lanai needed cleaning.We've been to West Maui Kahana Falls before and loved it. Staying at Kamaole Sands was disappointing and we won't stay there again. [...] this property was managed by company whose management is not even on the property! [...]
