Reasonable Price. Very nice Condo! So impressed.

Was unable to use shower first night and shower plumbing parts were in the bath tub. It has a murphy bed with a mattress that look like it was 30 years old. The mattress had no resistance and was super soft. The legs of the murphy bed would collapse through the night so the bed would hit the floor. My back is still hurting from the bed. After the first night, I slept on the couch. The full 180 degree ocean front view is absolutely amazing.

This is our third time staying at Kahana Beach and we always enjoy our stay. We love that the rooms have awesome ocean views and the staff are always so friendly and accommodating. We love to spend our time on the beach, so since this property has beach access, it is nice to not have to drive far to go to a beach.

Our stay was fabulous great location super clean and the staff is friendly the only thing that could improve it would to be making the Murphy beds mattress a little firmer. Only due to the fact I have a bad back...

had a great time will do again will come back again next year if we can get a room there.

Thus hotel is right on the beach. Our patio was wonderful. It's a no frills "timeshare" but everyone was really nice and the location was perfect.

Old Rooms and a not clean bathroom. No good Restaurants near by. Nice Beach. Very friendly Staffel.

The hotel is really close to the beach with a pretty decent size swimming Pool. The only thing is you have to pay extra $27 for having your room clean and their only certain days the guest could have breakfast in which we were not informed about it. Overall nice and friendly staff. This Beach condo looks like a time share properly. The best thing about this properly is that your balcony faces the sunset and its relaxing to have your sliding open at night with the soathing waves.

The condo was nice with a kitchenette, It was right on the beech. The only complaint was the hide a bed was not comfortable at all, but they were able to provide a pad for the bed.

Kahana Beach is right on the beach and located 10 minutes of Kanapoli resort area. It is much quieter than Kanapoli. It is also a very good spot to see sea turtles and snorkling right outside of the hotel. The staff are very friendly. The room is very clean (I believe it is just remodeled). Best of all, it is much cheaper than those big name hotels.

We stayed one week in April 2012, here are my opinions: Parking: Inadequate. I was not sure if all rooms were occupied but after 9pm we had to park on the public parking strip in between the Kahanas, even on the non-marking spots. I think a car is a must here, so beware if you travel in the high season. Is there a high season? Staff: Minimal but friendly. After hours everything is redirected to the sister/mother hotel next door, that includes re-keying your room should it stop working. You may want to know where it is during the day. Room: Roomy, clean, but old. We stayed at the -01 so not much to write about the ocean view, but we could keep an eye on the rental 7/24. The slider was not shut tight so we heard the wind howling all nights and days. Is it always 20mph, 30mph wind there? Beds: Murphy ok, Sofa springy. We liked it firm so the Murphy was good for us, throw the kids on the pull-out, they don't know any difference. Kitchen: Decently equipped. It served well for quick snacks, left-over, take-outs, etc. Internet: Provided by Time Warner at the cost of $40+/week or $10/day. They provided wired cable so your tablets, phones are out of luck. Of course, you can run to Office Depot for a wireless router but that will be more cost and inconvenience. The Ethernet wire is long but there is no power outlet near the dining table where you most likely set up your laptop. If your battery does not hold a lot of juice, bring a power extension cord. TV/DVD: Good TV line up but no HD content, DVD connection using AV only (but the TV is too small to discern.) Bathroom: Adequate. I like the fact that they put a lot of hangers in the closet unlike most places. Pool, hot tub: Small pool but with a deep end. Did not see many in the pool, ok to play with the kids. Hot tub is of residental size, would be a nice place to see the sunset. Beach: Small. It disappeared in high tide but we stayed during the half moon week so it was sufficient, barely. Even then, at higher tides, strong waves would wet the entire beach, nowhere to hide! The water goes deep quickly so keep your little ones close. If you are a snorkeler, venture out about 50' in about 15' of water where the corals are, there are a lot of stuff to see. I was even surprised by a sea turtle swimming about 4 feet under me at one time. Don't need to pay for a tour. On the other note, there are lots of nice public beaches, some with shower. Town: Lahaina is about 6 miles South with everything you would need (including the above mentioned Office Depot.) Front street is the place to walk. Special note: Not recommend the drive to/from Kahului using the scenic 340 for the faint-hearted. Overall, for the price I would recommend this place but you must have a car.

The hotel is nice and comfort. The staff is friendly. The room has all kitchen utilities and is very convenient.
