When booking this room, it seemed to be in a nice golf resort with lots of amenities. Well, no. It was a two bedroom, two bath condo in a pretty basic condominium community. There was a small pool and tennis facilities. The beach was the public beach nearly a mile away. Check-in felt like we were being herded and pushed to use the condo association business connections. They did give us, cheesy leis, discount coupons for restaurants and spa services and a discount card for grocery shopping. The discounts were not a deal and were for very expensive places so we did not use them. Upon check-in to our condo, we could not get into the front door initially and there was a car parked in our reserved spot. Management sent people to take care of these issues quickly, but our initial phone call that we were looked out was frustrating. The door handle would not turn and it seemed like there were two locks on the door. When we called David, he kept insisting there was only one lock and that all we had to do was push the door open after hearing the deadbolt unlatch. We kept saying that it seemed that there was a second lock. Upon playing with the door, yes, there was a second lock, You had to use the key inn a position beyond the deadbolt position to open the latch and then push the door open. The condo was fairly large but a bit dated. It was nice to have a full kitchen and two complete bedrooms and bathrooms. Condo needs a face lift for the price they charge.

We stayed for my Cousins wedding, and the staff did their best to accommodate us. From early check-in to trying to keep both bride and groom separated.

Beautiful property. Great for the whole family. Amenities we are as described and very handy to have. Amazing restaurants and the best beaches close by. Can't wait to book our next trip here. We will return.

Close to Great Restaurants, Shopping, and the Beach.

This is a individual owned, Destination operated condo hotel, first of all, you need to know that check in office is off property, but only 2 minutes drive or 5 minutes walk to a really nice offices, restaurants plaza, it shows the check in location while you book the hotel on line. The room we stayed is #178, it's very clean, with all the cooking wares, the only thing needs update is the bed, it's still in good shape, but the quality of the bed is not high. Everything else is wonderful! You'll have great view of golf course and the ocean. Wailea high end shopping mall is just 5 minutes walk, lots of restaurants and shops.

This condo is in a nice location. The bed is a little soft. There are plenty of utensils in the kitchen. The condo is next to a nice golf course and tennis club. Tennis is not free. We stayed in a second floor condo and the people in the lanai below smoked in spite of no smoking policy. It was a little annoying.

Clean, comfortable, overlooking the golf course, view of the ocean. Friendly staff.

The hotel is very comfortable, the kitchen is very well equipped, incredibly still have rice cooker. Very nice resort hotel.

Very nice condo! Clean and comfortable! Can't beat it for the rate we got it at. Staff at the office was very friendly and helpful.

The island was beautiful and condo had an awesome view of the golf course. Free internet and close proximity to stores and multiple beaches were a plus. We did have a few issues with the unit in that one of the kitchen cabinets doors fell off when opening it, but other than that the accommodations were nice. I had expected the second bedroom to have a queen bed, but ended up with 2 twins. Also, would have been helpful for better instructions on where to check-in at. We went to the condo first, but then had to go back out to the main office which was off-site.

Good hotel overall. Amenities are good, but not great. We were expecting more frequent room cleaning services, or maybe it was not included in the prices.

The only negative point was that during our stay we were subjected to pest control in our unit for three hours from 9 to 12pm. Didn't really like this experience as this could have been scheduled for another day. Besides this, everything was above expectations.

Nice place to stay. A little dated but nice and very convenient to everything in Wailea. Excellebt value for good accommodations

The grand champions is a beautiful resort. The location is great and the condos are spacious and well layed out. WAlking distance to many great restaurants and shopping. The only issue we had was the bed was like concrete. I have back problems and like a ferm mattress however, this was solid. We went to McKena beech during the day and slept on the beech.

The only problem was that the bed was too soft. Otherwise, everything was very good.

Unit very spacious. Large shower stall with two shower heads. Kitchen had lots of utensils. The area was quiet, peaceful and relaxing.

Everything was perfect! The whole place is beautiful

Easily accessible, all the amenities, very clean, excellent property. I would return to this property without hesitation.

Our unit was very clean and we immediately felt like we were at home. The full kitchen was very useful and we ended up cooking and eating in for most of our trip. Would definitely stay here again!

I went to Maui on a solo trip and wanted to reward myself with a nice condo in a great location. Well I got both in spades. My condo was well furnished and overlooked the golf course with a view of the ocean. The ocean is so far away I would recommend saving your money and getting the golf view only. It wasn't worth the extra $30 a night. I was very happy with my stay. My only complaint would be that the leasing office is not on site and is up the hill from the complex. The pool was very small but who cares. I only used it between beach trips. The leasing office was really nice and even has the cleaning team bring over a pillow top for my bed since it was really hard. Cheers, MJ-
