My husband and I stayed in room 801, a newly renovated hotel unit. It was attractively decorated and comfortable. The bed was firm, the pillows new and the linens in great shape. There is a mini fridge and microwave, TV and room safe. The rooms are small (think NYC or SFC boutique hotels), but perfect for 2 adults. We enjoyed the sounds of the ocean from the room and had a lovely view. The property sits on a gorgeous beach that isn't crazy crowded. Soft sand and plenty of room. It's also a great place to wander at night and stargaze. There is a (saltwater?) pool, which was a nice break from the beach from time to time. The on-site barbeque grills are available by reservation and maintained daily (i.e., kept sparkling clean) by the hotel team. There is on-site laundry (you must pay $6.00 for 2 tokens at the front desk). Five Palms restaurant on the property was our happy hour go-to spot: excellent Mai Tais, sushi and apps (and the view!) Next door, is a white tablecloth Italian restaurant (Sarento's), which looked lovely. The hotel was undergoing remodeling work on select units and in the parking lot. Some noise, but it didn't detract from our enjoyment. We extended our stay by a day and the staff was kind enough to accommodate the request with a 25% rate discount. They also provided us a late check out, which was much appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd recommend the Mana Kai without hesitation.

The hotel was very nicely situated with a beautiful (but not overly crowded) beach. There is a snorkel shop on the premises which made it easy to rent snorkel equipment although they also rented bikes, boards, etc. I looked in at the gym which had several treadmills, free weights and a weight machine but did not use it. I had decided not to rent a car as I mostly wanted a relaxing vacation; not a see-and-do vacation but was pleased to find that there was a Maui bus service and it had a stop right outside the entrance to the hotel. Very easy to use. One leg $2.00, day pass $4.00. I had several meals at the restuarant that is on-site (but not run by the hotel) and also made use of the "deli" for a quick cafe mocha and sandwich, drinks, etc. The "4" rating for Hotel facilities is because there was some remodeling going on. People at the hotel (especially the security guards) very nice.

Everything was good except we got a brand new SMALL room

This was our second stay renting only the hotel room portion. Room is smaller, but has a king size, very comfortable bed. Room has free coffee maker, refrigerator, and microwave. Room service daily. Staff was very accommodating and came to fix our TV when another guest changed the input and we could not get a signal. Very happy with the pool and beach. We would stay here again. Restaurant has an excellent happy hour and the food is good. We had a breakfast and a dinner at 5 Palms.

This is our 2nd visit and I'm sure won't be the last. Staff are awesome, view is awesome, location is quite good.

Maui and the town of Kihei are fantastic. The location of this hotel is great on the edge of Wailea which is beautiful. Unfortunately, the room is literally 12 x 12 box which felt like a jail cell as opposed to a suite.

First time to Maui, the hotel was worth every dime.

The only thing I would change is having a room with an air conditioner.

Basic facilities and room on the smaller side but enough for 3 night stay. Price wise is on the expensive side but consistent with Maui standards. Location is great on the beach. Great as no need to pay additional daily resort fees.

This is my second time staying at the hotel. I love it and when I go back I will definitely be staying there.

The Mana Kai Maui exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is fabulous, right on the Keawakapu Beach in Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. The condo room was spacious and the king size bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was great for storing food in the cabinets and refrigerator. We ate breakfast in the room on the balcony early each morning before starting the days activities. The view from the outside balcony was fabulous. The Front Desk and Activities Desk were always helpful and made our stay that much more enjoyable. The Mana Kai Maui is located within easy access of all attractions on the island. I can't stress that point enough.

This condo is right on the beach. Snorkeling was awesome tons of turtles. The best part for us was the location. Close to great restaurants and more beaches.

We've been to the Mana Kai three times now and love the location right at the tip of a mile long beach and at a snorkeling reef. The ocean view is fantastic from all the rooms, so there's no need to pay extra. The spacious condos allow us to cook most of our meals and provide room for each of us to do our own thing, whether reading, on a computer, or strumming a ukelele. Depending on the room, it could have been recently renovated or is outdated. The carpet was stained and needed cleaning, but the rest of the room was fine.

Very nice place, would definitely stay there again. Very peaceful, relaxing and beautiful area! Would highly recommend this place!

Small rooms.. great location.. Pricey but hey its Maui !!! Ocean view rooms better !!

This hotel was just the kind of place I was looking for. It has great access to the beach and Kihei. The place is quiet, clean, and realy let me relax. I will stay here my next trip.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We stayed in the prime ocean-view room. We felt it was a good size for just the two of us. The bathroom was incredible, though. Huge, complete with a bathtub, shower, private toilet space, a his and her sink, and plenty of counter space. Our room had a large TV, a DVD player, and a desk. We also had a small balcony which was perfect for ordering breakfast in the mornings.

Annual trip and best location and service on the island.

I did love my stay. I'll for sure go again :)) the beach was a stomes throw from the check in counter amd we swam with a turtle right there forst day! Loved waking up to the sound of birds in the morning!

I couldn't have been more pleased! My first room didn't have air conditioning, so they gave me a choice of rooms and condos. I chose to upgrade from a hotel room to a condo with kitchen and I was so happy with this decision. It was well worth the extra expense. I got an ocean view that was right off a postcard. The office staff were wonderful! So,accommodating, friendly and helpful. I also, like how you can book your tourist activities from a booth right there in the hotel. They help get you the best prices and since they are locals, can give you the inside scoop and which places give you the most for, your money. I did all the touristy things, and some very local, exploration. I will be coming back for many years as I couldn't have been any happier! Mana Kai Mauii is heavenly!m
