We first thought "oh no, we got the first floor," but the views couldn't get any better and the ability to walk out the back door straight to the beach was perfect for us. We will definitely be coming back again!

Overall we had a great time but a few details could have made it more pleasureable. Layout of condo fine. Great front view of ocean and short walk to beach. No view of mountains as described because of ground level and close buildings. This was not a problem to us as we liked being able walk directly outside. Parking was ok but each space was too narrow for full size vehicles. On site staff was great when there but limited time on site. Unit has repair issues involving sliding doors and windows and cleaning service was sloppy on details. Plenty of towels and linens in condo and laundry units available on site.

This condo is in a great location on Maui, close to just about everything. This is a homey, comfortable place. We had a one bedroom unit with a king size bed plus a large fold-out sofa bed. We had just about everything we needed - tennis equipment, snorkel gear, binoculars, lawn chairs, etc. plus a well-stocked kitchen. We were in unit 102 which was on the ground floor. We would have preferred to be up a few floors, but this was still a great unit. Wonderful sunsets every night and a great show every afternoon when the sailboarders and kite sailors showed up. Friendly staff on hand during the day and a handy laundry area right by our unit. Tennis courts nearby in the park and plenty of room to throw a fribee. Small pool, but wasn't a big deal to us. Our best dinner was just down the road at the 808 Bistro. Got there before 6:00 and had an excellent dinner for $25 each. We also did the Flyin' Hawaiian zipline tour which we all really enjoyed. Also went on the Snorkel tour to Molokini with Pride of Maui. Quite a disappointment as we never even went to Molokini and the other stops we made didn't have much to look at. Tried the snuba, OK for two of the four of us. We had much better snorkeling at the local parks by our condo. We wouldn't spend the money again on a tour in the future. Hiked down the volcano which was a great experience. Warning: it was quite cold when we got to the top which is about 10,000 feet. Layer warm clothing - too cold for shorts! We also drove to Hana then hiked up to a spectacular waterfall in the National Park. We visited Lahaina several times and really enjoyed the shave ice at Uluani's (the best!)- small place tucked away on the shore side of the main street.

When I got there I didn't like the condo at all however later I got used to. The condo was # 203 and it definitely needs to be updated. There are other condos in the same location that are very nice. The sofa and bed were real old and I didn't feel comfortable using their towels and bedsheets.

The location was definitely handy for taking off north or south to other parts of the island. It was away from the heavily populated areas of Kihei, which made it nice and quiet on the back side lanai. There was a park between the condo and ocean, which was a 2 minute walk across the grass. The unit was a nice set up with all the kitchen amenities that you needed. The bedroom could have used some type of blinds, as the light from outside shone through the window all night; made for tough sleeping. Overall a good place for the money spent.

Wonderful location in Kihei. Great expansive view across public park lawn to ocean. this is the area of Kihei for wind surfers and kite surfers, so you could be constantly entertained watching them from the deck. Tennis courts also available in large city park in front of us. Unit was clean, lots of cooking utensils, small and quiet. Very relaxing place to stay. Only negative was their gas barbecue was filthy. We ended up buying a small charcoal unit, although I believe management did clean the barbecue after we mentioned it to them. This is a great place at this price.

Leinaala Condominiums are like a home away from home. The only difference are that it is probably smaller than your home, and there are so many things to do on Maui that you don't want to spend much time indoors anyway. We enjoyed the balcony, comfortable bedroom, decent bathroom, and well appointed kitchen. The living room had a hide-a-bed, cable tv, and you could pay for cable internet usage. We didn't really watch TV and didn't feel like using the internet with all the beaches, snorkeling, and Hana drive. Many shops and restaurants are located nearby in Kihei or Wailea.

The Leinaala is very conveniently located in Kihe. It is out of the main stream resort area and quiet. The condo is very clean, well-supplied, air-conditioned, and has the best sunsets and moon rises! Sandy is on site and very helpful. We would recommend it to everyone and in fact have. We plan on returning for Humpbacks in March.

The Lady running the place was the best. We paid extra for a hide-a-way bed when in fact it was the sofa that converted into a bed. In the bedroom there was no aircondioner, there was a swamp cooler. We hadto empty the bucket in it every day and that was a pain. There was no beach to speak of. It was always full of seaweed and a buldozier was always working each day along the whole streach of beach around and including our Condo.

The Leinaala was a fantastic place to stay!! Our room was immaculate, well stocked, quiet, convenient and comfortable. The view from the lanai was incredible! This was the best room value we ever had. (We had a late check-in, that went just as they said it would, with no problems). It was everything we had hoped it would be!! We would stay there again, as well as recommend to anyone looking for a great condo, for a great price!

The accomodations were comfortable. I am pleased with the view and the little noise and overall adequate for what I paid. The managers were very friendly and helpful.
