Attempted to cancel my stay on the day I was told that I could cancel for free and was told I could not cancel my stay.

Terrible smell !!! Blood spots on towels !!! Pubic hair in shower !!!!

Convenient location to shopping and restaurants.

The assistant manager is very rude . I am a gm of a hotel and I hope and pray that on my worst day that I am not any thing like she is. Not impressed, will not stay at the hotel chain again. The pillows were lumpie

We attend three horse show in Mason City every year.. Usually book Days Inn for all, Except last year after the spring, The rooms slowly have been in decline, not a good buy for what they were charging.. Decided to give them another try for this year...We were pleasantly surprise..Nice rooms, Staff was wonderful.. The weather was horrible, rainy and cold.. Sent extra blankets and towels..very satisfied..

Better than sleeping in a tent.Be candid, colorful and honest, like you would with a friend or someone you’ve just met. Don’t be harsh, crude or spiteful. Give kudos to the staff or people you met, but don’t post their full name or publicize their personal information. Don’t make references to travel brands or sites, or include any links or prices.

This has been my hotel of preference for the past 20 years. I spend 4 days 2 times a year at this location and have been satisfied. Why? QUIET Rooms!! A breakfast that is improving to hot offerings; great rates when booking online; friendly staff who know me as a customer; continued upgrades in the rooms. I always know that my stay will be a comfortable one. There is always room for improvement - some hallways smell a bit smokey - but my room is always totally smoke free; the back door doesn't always close completely to lock shut...but I will continue to return to my 'home away from home' in Mason City!

Very accommodating and helpful staff. We they had swimming pool

It was ok, went to check in, man & woman at front desk continued talking for 5 min before attending to me. The housekeeping staff that I saw was dressed in what looked like pajamas, not a good impression for guests as far as I'm concerned. Overall an ok stay.

We preferred a non-smoking room, but the reservation provided us with smoking rooms that smelled terrible. The free continental breakfast was the worst I'd ever had: the oatmeal was runny, the fruit didn't look fresh, the pastries were dry, and the choices of cereal were dismal. Don't stay at this hotel in Mason City.

Not bad not good. Free breakfast very limited. No elevator for second floor.

Stayed here twice. Both times, staff was gruff and building was under construction of some sort. It is currently about 40% less expensive than other options, and completely reflected in what you get. Set your expectations accordingly.

The price of the room was well worth what was spent.

la experiencia en el hotel fue buena, la habitacion estaba limpia y el personal amable .

This room smelled of stale smoke. The staff spayed 3 squirts of some liquid on the carpet which was suppose to eliminate the odor. It did not!!!! Then tried to say no one smoked in there. There was an ashtray on the dresser! Also, the bed was not comfortable. I will never stay at this Days Inn ever.

The staff was nice and the room was good for the price we paid. We stayed an extra day.

The hotel staff was very pleasant. The rooms were updated and clean. Very comfortable lounge chair and good water pressure in the shower. We would stay again

The hotel really needs a face lift and some cleaning. While it is in a very good location for Target, Fleet Farm and the Fairgrounds it is lacking in front desk service and cleaning.

Our trip was for pleasure. All we needed was a place to sleep. When we arrived we could not get a roll away bed until 9 p.m. [...]. We had to pay another $10 for it. Another trip to the desk to get extra towels he brought up later. The shower was luke warm at best. Not the best hotel we have stayed at.

The room had been recently upgraded--nice! Free breakfast was toast, juice, rolls, cereal, coffee. Scared during night when someone actually opened deadbolted door. Chain stopped them. Learned in a.m., management opened door, without checking room number, for customer who thought it was their room and didn't acknowledge it to me with an apology.
