Has an exclusive feel, set in its own parkland. We stayed in the Maracudja studio, which opens onto its own terrace and garden area with sun beds and overlooks the sea. We had a BBQ each evening and soaked up the relaxed atmosphere. The studio is large and has a good kitchen. The place is well maintained and kept very clean. The owner is delightful, and while little English is spoken, we got by well - good to have the help of Google Translate. It is a 15 minute walk into the small town, but coming back is uphill all the way. There is a private track taking you to a secluded beach - about a 20 minute walk. Overall, with the quality of the studio and the lovely location, deserves a score of 5.

ten days on the fist floor with the beautiful sea view; with birds taking breakfast with us on the balcony (and entering the kitchen when we were out and eating our banana and mangos :)). Quiet and friendly; with everything you need for a good vacation

We stayed in one of the rooms which are equipped with coffe making facilities and also a fridge so you can prepare breakfast and light snacks. The hotel is situated in a beautiful park and has a fantastic view. The studios have a balcony to sit and admire the view, the rooms don't though. You really need a car as it is situated outside of the village which is 15 minute walk away. The staff were most kind and welcoming.

Check their website to confirm what facilities you get with each studio/room, we stayed in Sapotille, no outdoor space but huge window along small kitchen with gorgeous view. It has air con which we needed overnight in April, but during the day plenty of breeze through the studio was sufficiently cool. All facilities working well, clean, well provided for, the bathroom is small and a bit tired, but all in good order. Our wifi worked well in the apartment. The local beach 15mins walk down the hill is relatively small and very quiet. You can follow a small path to Anse l'Ane or the other way to a stonier but very secluded beach, we saw no one there on a Saturday. The lady that runs it doesn't speak much English, but her smile immediately makes you feel welcome. It's setting is gorgeous, in beautiful gardens, watch out for the small toads that come out in the rain!

Nice place, beautiful view from the appartment though no direct access to the sea. Well-equipped, a lot of kitchen staff. Kind and helpful staff. Wifi connection. Nice garden. Quiet location. Old and narrow bathroom, dust on the walls. You need a car as it is a bit on a remote location.

Its very suggested to have a car, because the hotel is outside the village. The hotel is on the hight of a mountain, with an excellent view: Forest and the sea. In fact is not a hotel, is a house with some rooms independents. with kitchen. There is not breafast or restaurant facilities in the hotel, but there are restaurants and supermarkets driving 2 minutes only. Rooms have Air Conditioned. The garden is very nice. Wifi is free, but the reception in the rooms is very low. The staff do not speak englinsh. Only french. It's the best romantic hotel that I never I have been hosted.

Perfect place for having a quiet vacations. Ten minutes walking from a isolated beach. Not far from from the airport and also from the main south atractions. Nice old lady, she only talks in french, but she will try to help.

We spent a week at one of the studios. Everything was perfect, fully equipped kitchen, doubled bed, sleeping sofa, sea viiew ... etc. This was really a perfect place to stay..The beach could be reached by walking 10 min. through the rainforest. We would like to return.

We spent two nights at “The Domaine” as one stop on a two-week trip around Martinique. We stayed in one of the smallest rooms because this was all that was available at the time we made the booking. While the room was a bit small, this was definitely the biggest bargain of the four places we stayed on Martinique. All the good things that other reviewers say about this place are true. The building, the grounds, the view and the location are all wonderful. The hostess is charming and helpful. WiFi works well but only in the reception area. This, we found, was generally the case in places we stayed on Martinique. Like other reviewers, we were a little concerned that this place might be hard to find. We need not have worried. It is right on the main D7 road from Les Trois Îlets to Le Diamant. More specifically, it is one kilometer south of Anse-à-l’Ane … and it has a big sign outside which is hard to miss if you are driving South towards Le Diamant. “The Domaine” has its own private beach. This is about a kilometer walk down a well maintained private path. The beach, when you get there, is mostly rocks. Given that you really do need a car to stay at “The Domaine”, you might as well drive the one kilometer into Anse-à-l’Ane, where there is a pretty little beach, parking, a couple of small restaurants and one of the ferries to Fort de France. Before we left, we looked around one of the two mirror-image apartments called “Les Cannelles”. These are gorgeous, spacious and airy, with a large balcony and a view down across the grounds to the ocean. If we stay here again, we will try to book one of these. Finally, one very curious fact about Martinique. In all four places we stayed, including one of the top-rated B&B’s on the island, precisely one pillow was provided per sleeper. And most of the pillows would disgrace a discount store in the USA. If we visit Martinique again for more than a few days, we plan to find out what it costs to buy a couple of pillows when we arrive!

We stayed for 4 nights in a studio called Sapotille. The studios are in a beautiful detached house, set in a wonderful garden on top of a hill. Our studio had all the amenities(coffee machine, fully equipped kitchen but no safe and a TV that never worked!) and overlooked the green lush hill right down to the sea. It's not so easy to get there from the airport(we had rented a car-indispensable in Martinique)then it was very simple. The internet connection is only possible near the reception.A food market is near where you can get everything you need. The lady that welcomed us was very polite and friendly but spoke no English at all!
