Very good hotel compared to the price. In the middle of Marseille. Just a pity that there was in our night a lot of noise coming from the houses behind the hotel. I hope that this was just that night!

Just what I wanted. Modest but very comfortable. We enjoyed good service, and it is in a great location. The price is very reasonable, and breakfast was tasty. This is a hotel with character and charm.

Unsmiling staff. Damp towels in bathroom, though quickly changed to dry ones. Great location. Breakfast served downstairs in open bar area and no staff in sight. Options for breakfast not made clear and no 'help yourself'. There is a lovely room upstairs with table and chairs - not used! No tea/coffee in room. Very small room. Clean enough, but shabby. Would choose somewhere else another time.

Room with broken floor furniture old and stinky. They did not clean the room and we had to request clean towels.Rude staff and room price too expensive compared to other best hotels around.Located near the port in a dirty and poorly attended street

No tea or coffee facilities .loose tiles on the floor and surface came off on your feet very shabby furniture .Dark hallways with poor light sensors.Neighoorhood very unsavoury would not go out after dark.On checking out they tried to charged for the water and sweet so called mini bar we had not used .

It's very excellent place. In center of Marseille. You can visit to walk central sights. Cleaner. Excellent bathroom. Polite stuff. Very small rooms, but it's France:) There are interesting things in our room: saddle for horse:)

I stayed here on the 30th of July I made sure to look at trip advisor before booking and it seemed like a good hotel. But on arrival I was given my key and went to my room and it was not ready I was told they were short staffed and only one man was cleaning the hotel I was told to wait in the bar which doesn't even open on a sunday by this point after travelling for 9 hours that day I was exhausted after over an hour waiting went into my room via the extremely small lift and the room isn't even fit to stay in how can they say this is a 3 star hotel is beyond me the wallpaper is peeling off the walls the floor is uneven the ceiling is peeling the door you have to give a real shove to shut properly and not to mention the windows not opening or shutting properly as for so called soundproofing I could hear everything and the room wasn't overly clean and when I mentioned to the guy on the reception how I felt I was offered a lame apology and when I mentioned that I needed a twin room as the guy i was with was just a friend nothing was done to rectify the situation so I told them instead of my week long stay that I had planned I'd be leaving in the morning and then the guy on the desk became barely civil to me overall extremely disappointed

A lovely old and idiosyncratic building in a superlative location as regards walking to anywhere one might want to visit. Friendly staff, a pleasant front room with a pretty balcony, very comfy beds, efficient AC & shower and a really nice cafe downstairs, I really recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for one night while visiting Marseille, and it was livable but not great. When we got there the elevator was broken, so we had to leave our luggage at the front desk and bring it upstairs later because we were staying on the fourth floor. The room was okay but not very nice. There was a mysterious lack of outlets, which was inconvenient. The bathtub also leaked water all over the bathroom when I took a shower. We got breakfast at the hotel in the morning, which is served in the adjacent cafe. The waiter brought us some pastries and cooked up some eggs and bacon or potatoes. It was okay but not very efficient and we were in somewhat of a hurry. I would definitely stay somewhere else if I came to Marseille again. I’m sure there are much better hotels with reasonable prices—preferably right on the port since it’s so beautiful there.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. Beautiful bedroom with large bathroom and outdoor sitting area. Breakfast served at your table in the restaurant area, eggs available if so desired.
