I booked the room for the view but found it was much more luxurious than I expected. Breakfast was very impressive!

This is a well kept historical hotel in the harbor area near a shopping mall, street vendors, sidewalk cafes, and many banks. We had just one night stay after a cruise in order to catch a flight the following day.

Refurbished and nice Nice location on the beach Staff very courteous.

The moment I walked in the room my sinuses started to burn and my eyes turned red, there is an extremely strong chemical smelling perfume the smelling I don't know what else mixed in saturating the air. Even opening of the windows and trying to sleep with them open all night did not help. Tatian showed me another room, and then two more the next day, and all reek like that smell. The location and you were great, the staff was helpful, but if you have any sensitivities or allergies to chemicals or perfumes it's impossible to even fall asleep. I woke up all night long on able to breathe and with a migraine headache. If you are staying here, I recommend asking for no cleaning and airing it out for at least two days, but somehow the smell comes back as soon as you close the windows. My eyes are still red from irritation 24 hours later. I could also smell the neighbors or below me smoking like they were in the same room.

Location is great. Room fairly spacious for France. Got 3 out of 4 reservations wrong.

RIght at the base of the old harbor, nice historic hotel. Room was clean, if slightly small, with view of harbor. Breakfast was good, if slightly pricey (not included in room price). Small lobby. Staff was helpful.

lovely hotel in the perfect location in Marseille. the breakfast was very noice and charming. lovely Big rooms.

Hotel and staff were very nice, Could use a little renovation. Some of the furniture needed repair etc. All in all it was a good experience.

Beautiful yesteryear hotel with modern, beautiful bathrooms. Room facing the port had a great view, even though the port is under construction this summer. The hotel had nice, really sound-proof windows. Staff was very friendly but gave a terrible restaurant recommendation for dinner--do your own research for that.

The staff was very helpful

The location was great for walking everywhere in that area. The staff were very helpful and spoke enough English for us to understand them. While there were no complaints we did see places cheaper near by and as nice as the room was is wasn't worth the price we paid. But if you have lots of money its a great location.

View of Superior room Windows open to air out the terrible chemical and perfume smells. My eyes burned. Lots of damage and mold Damage
