We enjoyed our stay at Inn Marin, we stayed there two nights while our daughter played in a local basketball tournament. The hotel (Courtyard Marriott) everyone else was staying was booked (and double the price) we took a gamble and stayed here. Check in was smooth. Easy. Got there about 30 min early and the room was ready. Two double beds for 2 adults and 2 kids. Not the biggest room, but worked for us. It was clean, stocked and well maintained. There was a mini fridge. Everything in room was in working order and clean. Our "neighbor" was a little questionable. But the neighborhood itself felt safe. We walked to the nearby dollar store and sushi restaurant with no problems. There is also a Mexican restaurant on the same road and it was good! The grounds were also dog friendly (wish I had known). Contential breakfast came with the reservation. And well... it was exactly what was expected. Yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs and waffles... basic. Only issue we had, called for towels and they must have forgotten took them 40 mins later and a reminder call to come. Decent hotel, GREAT for the price.

We stay here as a comfortable alternative to the standard chain motel. Decent restaurant on site in a relatively quiet setting.

Good older hotel well-cared for and comfortable.Standard continental breakfast with good coffee and in-room Keurig. N

right on the freeway, but the rooms are quiet. old and large

The staff were all cordial and helpful. We arrived at our room to find a large bag of trash just outside the door. 2 doors down there was a roll away bed folded in half. Both were still there when we checked out. The room was clean in general, but the pillow shams and bedspread appeared grungy and made us wonder how clean the blanket under it was. The beds were firm but lumpy.

We stayed 3 days, were out during the days, if we had to stay in room it would have been small.

This is a little gem where people get to be happy enjoying the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the hotel staff and where doggies get to have fun running around in the lush green grass.

The freeway makes this scenic hotel quite noisy. It's lovely but if you're expecting a quiet night you won't get it here. Everything else was ok and a good value.

This hotel has a great staff willing to accommodate your needs. No doubt I would return.

Great central location. Great food. Great room. Great amenities. Great everything until room service entered our room without knocking, 2 hours before check out time, with a do not disturb sign on door. So close to being a Great total experience.

close to the city but far away enough to not feel the hustle and bustle. Rooms were cozy and loved the restaurant on the property. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

My husband & I stayed at this hotel when we were attending the Sprint #NASCAR race at #SonomaRaceway It was the only hotel left to stay at. It was a little more pricey then it should have been since everything was booked, but overall it was a good commute to the Raceway and the courtyard & restaurant on the property were the perfect pair so we didn't need to leave the facility. The hotel itself is a little outdated but the decor has been upgraded. The courtyard backs up to all the Inn's rooms so you can open your door, walk over to the huge tree with a glass of wine & swing on the tree lounges. We also ate at the restaurant at the Inn & everything was good. The staff was friendly too. They had a musician walking around singing while we ate which added to the nice ambiance. I would recommend making reservations as it was packed. There is a bar where you can have drinks/ apps. As well, a swimming pool at the entrance of the restaurant. Some families were eating out by the pool while their kids swam. I also think my kids would've enjoyed it here too, so yes on kid friendly. Overall I would recommend this place to stay.

Wonderful stay. Enjoyed every minute there. Great breakfast.

We stayed here for a wedding in Sonoma. The location was great and the value was good. We stayed in room 142, which was nice with a living room and very large jetted tub. I would highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed here for a wedding in Sonoma. The location is good and it was a great value. We got a larger room, #142, with a living room and very large jacuzzi tub, I highly recommend getting the larger room!

After driving all day and being exhausted, we found Inn Marin online and booked it since we were only a few miles away and way too tired to keep driving. The check in staff had our registration paperwork already printed out and room assignment so the check in literally took under 2 minutes and we were in bed in less then 10! The room was beautiful and the bed was incredibly comfortable making the end to an exhausting day almost heavenly.

Enjoyed the stay at the hotel. enjoyed the restaurant and bar n the evening. Pool and Spa adding value to the evening along with the small green ground

Originally didn't have same room location as my reservation but they corrected that. Nice music at dinner. Very useful Electric Vehicle charging.

First the good thing. They have a nice pool area, and lots of trees and greenery on the grounds for being right on the freeway your room has an empty mini fridge to put things in and I think there is a laundry facility you can pay to use if you need it....and then there is the not so good... The complimentary breakfast is odd and there is no staff there to answer any questions about anything. There are very little staff anywhere actually. We wanted a drink from the bar near the pool but there was nobody there to order one from? There is an overall feeling that the hotel is not that clean. Perhaps it is the humidity, the age of the place or the fact that it is pet friendly? I asked three times ( twice to housekeeper, once to front desk) for a an extra pillow and a set of towels to be brought to our room but they never came. The pillows are the size of a squished postage stamp and our room came with only three. Dogs were up bright and early at 6am barking away. Also odd is the bathroom. Very small, zero counter space, and the light is a motion sensor so if one of you gets up before the other, beware the very bright light coming from the bathroom which is enhanced by the bathroom skylight which floods your room with light at the crack of dawn if you accidentally leave your bathroom door open. Unless I had my dog with me I would not stay here again. If you have a pet with you it is worth the other not so great things about the place. Bring your own pillow!

We stayed in room 139 and had an major issue with the internet. Wi-Fi is included with the room but because the room was on the far side of the wing, the signal was non existant. Sucks when you are trying to plan your outting or find a restaurant for dinner when you have to walk to the pool for a decent signal on your tablet. Maybe another wireless router is in order? The room was very clean and I loved the bamboo floors. I am definitely bringing my dog with me next time. The bed was pretty comfortable for me, I would have liked a bit more padding. It's also nice that there are two entraces to the room. Great for the middle of the night dog bathroom trip or a morning walk- The bike trail is just behind the dumpster but it is pretty noisy as it runs along the freeway. The only other issue was the cleaning staff forgot to stock cups for the coffee machine (a keurig) and tissue for the bathroom. The ice machine was also broken, but after a trip to the lobby, I was able to have the staff fill my ice bucket and grab coffee cups. I liked the hotel for the proximity to Larkspur and Petaluma and I am glad to have found an opening on such short notice for a holiday weekend. The only deterent was that the cost is too high for me to consider a second night or a return trip. Maybe if they drop the cost down $40 a night and did not charge $25 a night for my puppy I would return.
