Parking is very limited. Some utility work was being done limiting parking spaces further. Cars parked along fire lanes blocking vehicles from p ruling out. The hotel doesn't ask for license plates number so they can contact owners to help them move car. I was trapped from leaving in the morning for an hour making me lasted for my meeting. Emergency vehicles like fire trucks and ambulances would not be able to drive in because the fire lanes were blocked. I'll never stay here again. It's a safety issue and I didn't appreciate being late for my meeting because I had to struggle backing my car up being blocked by a car parked in fire lane. I am surprised fire chief allows this in Novato.

The biggest disappointment was extreme lack of parking due to construction. Stayed during a horse event, so did not spend much time at the property other than sleeping.

Having to use 50 characters? PG&E are using half their parking lot, making that the first of many bad experiences.

picture and description of hotel on line very deceiving. Arrived to find that the property had had no water since 10 Am (arrived at 5PM) and no knowledge when they would. Desk clerk very abrubt Needless to say we did not stay Had to find other lodgings at a huge increase in price. Am now trying to make sure I get my $ back from this hotel!

Very basic hotel. Cost was higher than I would have wanted to pay for location in Novato, but it was the least expensive available, and I understand that this is a high-priced area. Don't expect any amenities whatsoever. It's a somewhat hard queen bed and a bathroom.

No microwave in the room. The mattress is in serious need of replacement. Parking is difficult at times for anything other than a compact car. The staff was friendly and efficient.

When looking for a reasonably priced room in this area, it is easy to think that it doesn't exist but it does, it is here. It was everything that I could ask for in the price range.I wasn't looking for a resort, or the price that it comes with. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. It was just what we needed!

My cousin decided to stay there also and called the hotel that day and got it for a lot less money. The breakfast was gone when we got down and they did not put any more out around 8:45am.

Overall for the price of the room I would say it was great. Quite overall clean a little vintage. Close to the Fwy. Restaurants down the street. The only down fall I would say is that there is only one mirror and if your traveling with more than one person on the morning can be a little bit of a Hassel. Yet I have nothing bad to say for the reason I was up there it served its propose.

I knew what to expect and requested a room on an upper floor that has a screen door with tiny balcony on the roadside for the fresh air. A Non-smoking motel but lots of smokers stay there so the breezeway often smells of smoke. Hikers, bikers, day-trippers, service workers, and unstuffy business folks can stay there at reasonably low cost! Military and Retiree discounts available. Starbucks and Traders Joe's close by. No refrigerator but a cooler with ice worked for me. I would recommend to any student or thrifty traveler.

Got a feeling of hospitality from the staff. Clean and comfortable on a budget.

hotel was okay but noticed that there was a lot of ppl going in and out all night, one person even said their stay had been good so far but that they "hoped (we) didn't get raided again"...not comforting at all, will sleep with one eye open. other than that the price was fair

Great location, between Napa and SF. Room is what you expect for the price.

Good location, close to good eating establishments, shopping as well as local attractions. Room was clean quiet and comfortable. I felt safe and parking is well lighted. Could use a little make over but is still nice.

Great value for the price ... Clean room and facilities

Great deal for this hotel. Super close to Freeway, and downtown Novato. I will book there again for sure.

Good location, right of 101. Bathroom smelled of mildew. Flies in room. Everything else seemed old, but appeared clean. Pretty much was what you expect from the price you pay.

Worst room at this hotel , I have stayed here 3 other times was always clean, this trip I had room #219 above the check in office, when open door to room no light switch at door, was a empty room with old love seat and small round table, lead to door opening to room with bed. Light was in the second room with no windows, seemed like a glorified jail cell.. Saturday night-early morning party above our room, uncomfortable bed.. The only good thing at this stay was the price and the easy location of hotel to get to Sonoma and Marin County locations..

carpet burns, broken micrwv, roach in wndw sill =(!!

No frills budget hotel. Decent size room, comfortable enough beds. OK to spend a night.
