We arrived and were greeted by the gentleman who runs the B&B who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. He imparted with expert local knowledge and gave us directions to fantastic wineries which we would never have thought to visit. Beautiful local landscapes adorned the walls of the well appointed common area. The breakfast we had there the next morning was in my opinion one of the best ever. Rooms were modern and filled with gorgeous products and scents. Overlooking a natural sanctuary for birds and wildlife and set amongst beautiful Australian forest, the B&B was actually a fantastic location for accessing local wineries and attractions along Caves Rd just outside of central Margaret River.
Not knowing where to stay we booked this accomodation online and late in day . On arrival we were pleasantly surprised . Met the friendly hosts and were shown our room . Room felt instantly cosy , so much so we decided to grab a takeaway and sit on verandah , check out the kangaroos and look for stars . Room was spacious and warm with a comfy bed and pillows . Breakfast was wonderful , our hosts on hand to guide us through their Buffett of cereals , freshly home baked breads , with local jams and honey . Tea coffee and juices . We really enjoyed our stay that was far to short . Will be back to stay longer next time . Villo and Evo
We thoroughly enjoyed Dirk and Pam's hospitality...as well as their adorable puppy dog Bella... The facilities were great and they catered for dietary needs even though I hadn't forewarned them. Spa bath was fabulous which was accompanied with bath salts and champagne glasses. Dirk and Pam thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Only 5 mins drive to the town centre and even less to the prevelly beach, Margaret river bed and breakfast is a definite winner for us. We will be back for sure.
Stayed at B&B Margaret River last weekend. The accommodation is nicely located in the middle of the forest, has nice rooms and a lovely host! Included was delicious breakfast with freshly made cakes and lots of fruit. We will definitely come back ! Thanks to Ricky for being a great host!
A friend and I recently stayed there for 2 nights and were impressed with David and Pams customer service. The continental breakfast was first class with own breads made fresh. Nice rooms, grounds, and common area. Pretty central to Margaret River and Prevelly. Thanks Andrew
My wife and I were in best room, It was beautifully appointed with all facilities and bathroom would do justice ( and better than a lot) to a 5 star hotel. Large Spa bath, large separate shower, heated towel rail, twin basins...excellent. Very spacious and comfortable lounge with ambience. Our hosts were away, but Ric looked after us very well. Recommend without hesitation
What a cosy little gem! It truly felt like a home away from home. I think we booked the smallest room and it was still more than enough for two people. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was really clean - it came with a huge bathtub! The bedroom also opens up to a cute little patio. The fridge in the room was stocked with milk, water and other things. Breakfast is served in the communal area in the living room. Ricky was very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place!
Loved staying here for the bush setting, watching the kangaroos graze in the evening on the lawn. Quiet and very clean and comfortable with a great breakfast. Enjoyed chatting to the other guests over breakfast. Lovely small touches like hand made soaps, glass of wine, fresh homemade bread and muffins, and a jar of licorice allsorts. So much to see and do in the area I wished we had more time.
For me, the best part of staying at this B&B was the information from the hosts. We wouldn't have seen half the amazing sights of the area if it was not for their detailed information each morning before we hit the road. Even the restaurant recommendations (Swings Taphouse) for dinner was spot on and exactly what we were after. It made the stay such a breeze and most enjoyable. We got to see many amazing beaches, gourmet food stops, and wineries that we may have completely missed. The B&B is of what you would expect with all the things you need and plenty of breakfast options. Location is nestled nicely in the native bushland, a pleasure to wake up to. it's about an 5-10min drive out of the main town, so you can't just walk into town for a drink or dinner etc... so keep that in mind with a designated driver or arrange transfer or taxi.
What a lovely stay we had here. The room was very comfortable for two people. It felt very private and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious, including a large spa bath. The property is concealed in a section of the bush. Looking out the window gave you a glimpse into the Australian bush, segued by Pam's creative native garden. Breakfast was one of the best we've had at a B&B. A beautiful smorgasbord was laid out European style with a selection of fresh fruit, homemade muesli, sliced meats, and the wonderful selection of homemade bread. Eating outside in the patio was absolutely blissful. Pam and Dirk our knowledgeable of the area and always up for a friendly chat. Recommended. We will return here.
