We spent 4 nights in this fabulous B&B with wonderful hosts Dirk and Pam. Our room was well appointed and very comfortable, and the continental breakfasts were excellent. An added bonus was Dirk's day long Nature Tour of the Margaret River region which we would thoroughly recommend.
We had a lovely relaxing time nothing was to much trouble for Rachael. Lovely tranquil gardens. Great continental breakfast. Can recommend the spa bath so relaxing. Would visit again any time Highly recommended
Dirk and Pam made our stay at Margaret River so very easy, providing advice for places to go and see, lifts to wineries and dinner when required and a great continental breakfast. The rooms were large, bed was very comfortable and spa bath a great way to finish a long day exploring.
Stayed here for 2 nights and what a lovely little place! Owner dirk made us feel welcome immediately and the entire place was beautifully decorated with a very cozy homey feel and the room is very huge and well contained. Entire place was very well designed and room was clean with everything you will need. Location was great as well as its a short drive to most places within MR. Owner dirk is very knowlegeable abt MR and will go around every mrng with a map and pen and help you plan your day which we found very cute and endearing. We enjoyed our stay v much and would recommend everyone to stay there when visiting MR. We hope to be back. Best, sharlene
Our overnight stay was very pleasant and our room was very well presented. Breakfast was very tasty with local produce being used. Dirk and Pam were welcoming hosts and they helped us plan our time in the Margaret River area with their local knowledge giving us the opportunity to enjoy as much as time allowed in a purposeful way. Location worked for us. Time didn't allow it for us, though you could base yourself here for a longer stay in the area as the hosts would be very accommodating to whatever activities you chose to do. Highly recommended.
Margaret River B & B is a clean, comfortable, restful haven, surrounded by a lovely garden & located in an idyllic bush setting. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of birdsong & a delight, later in the day, to see the little Golden Warblers enjoying themselves in the birdbath. Breakfasts were healthy & delicious, with lots of choice; everything was beautifully presented & set out for guests in a spacious dining area that looks out to the garden. Pam & Dirk were exceptional hosts, welcoming, thoughtful & generous. They were ready & able to make excellent suggestions re places to visit, scenic drives, good eateries, etc. We hope to stay there again & will recommend it to friends. Rosemary & Malcolm
We arrived and were greeted by the gentleman who runs the B&B who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. He imparted with expert local knowledge and gave us directions to fantastic wineries which we would never have thought to visit. Beautiful local landscapes adorned the walls of the well appointed common area. The breakfast we had there the next morning was in my opinion one of the best ever. Rooms were modern and filled with gorgeous products and scents. Overlooking a natural sanctuary for birds and wildlife and set amongst beautiful Australian forest, the B&B was actually a fantastic location for accessing local wineries and attractions along Caves Rd just outside of central Margaret River.
Not knowing where to stay we booked this accomodation online and late in day . On arrival we were pleasantly surprised . Met the friendly hosts and were shown our room . Room felt instantly cosy , so much so we decided to grab a takeaway and sit on verandah , check out the kangaroos and look for stars . Room was spacious and warm with a comfy bed and pillows . Breakfast was wonderful , our hosts on hand to guide us through their Buffett of cereals , freshly home baked breads , with local jams and honey . Tea coffee and juices . We really enjoyed our stay that was far to short . Will be back to stay longer next time . Villo and Evo
We thoroughly enjoyed Dirk and Pam's hospitality...as well as their adorable puppy dog Bella... The facilities were great and they catered for dietary needs even though I hadn't forewarned them. Spa bath was fabulous which was accompanied with bath salts and champagne glasses. Dirk and Pam thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Only 5 mins drive to the town centre and even less to the prevelly beach, Margaret river bed and breakfast is a definite winner for us. We will be back for sure.
Stayed at B&B Margaret River last weekend. The accommodation is nicely located in the middle of the forest, has nice rooms and a lovely host! Included was delicious breakfast with freshly made cakes and lots of fruit. We will definitely come back ! Thanks to Ricky for being a great host!
