Stayed at Abbey Beach Resort for just three days, but wished it had been longer. Great place, short walk to the beach through the gardens, two lovely swimming pools as well as an indoor pool. Sauna and gym, must admit we didn’t use, but looked great. Both the restaurants had lovely meals, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, definitely go back.

Our room was a good size with a balcony overlooking the next door caravan park (there was no noise from the CP) and a lovely big spa bath in the bathroom. The room was clean and tidy. We only used the balcony to dry our pool towels on as we would rather sit around the pool or cafe. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner control was in the room for us to adjust as we liked. There are 3 pools and we swam in all of them, indoors in the middle of the day and outside otherwise. One pool has a nice graduation to enter or for littlies. It is also easier to get out of pool if you have joint problems. We ate at the Cafe for some of our meals, which were tasty and good sized serves for what we needed. The coffee at the Cafe was good. We missed the Buffet which is only on Friday and Saturday nights. there are also tennis facilities, and a very short walk to the beach with lovely flat beach and calm water. We stayed 4 days and had a very relaxing time.

Great stay for couples or the family, Abbey does accomodate for all. Abbey has great clean facility’s in clouding 3 pools (1 heated indoor) , sauna, gym, squash court and 2 restaurants. There is plenty to do and Abbey is well positioned. On a beautiful beach, close to a small shop and walking distance to town.

Big self contained apartment for our family of 5, with comfy beds and we love the spa bath! Resort amenities are excellent, choose between indoor or outdoor pools, and a short walk on the path down to the calm beach. Quick drive into Busso or the other way to Dunsborough. Margaret River wine region not far away. So much to do and see in this corner of WA, it's our holiday paradise every summer and although we've tried other accommodation Abbey Beach Resort is the one we always come back to!

Our stay at Abbey Beach Resort was overnight, so as we could attend a wedding in the area. On arrival, the reception staff had wonderful smiles, and were very welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the suite, offering a bathroom with each bedroom, and a really large family room, well appointed kitchen and washing machine. Our balcony overlooked the lawn area leading directly to the beach. A perfect spot at the back of the resort, which allowed lots of light into the room. We wished we had more time to stay to enjoy the beach, pool areas and other amenities on offer. Thank you for our brief, but very enjoyable stay.

I stayed with my 5 children & 1 other teenager. I booked 7 nights peak season at short notice. This resort exceeded expectation. This part of WA is renowned for variable service at exorbitant prices (think paying off a $$ mortgage in the holiday belt of the well healed Western Suburbs). This resort pleasantly surprised. The website offered the best rate. I booked a 3 bdr apartment that was well appointed (apart from the mandatory poorly equipped kitchen which made cooking for 7 imaginative). The staff were excellent - from booking liaison over the phone to pre departure arrangements to assistance with room issues. Daily excellent room service was great. The resort is well positioned next to what I consider to be one of the world’s best beaches - Abbey Beach; Busselton. There are 3 pools which my kids loved & a decent on site cafe for coffee / food. It is walking distance to “Stilts” Broadwater if one wants a nice night out. Bring your bikes for a nice ride to Busselton. All in all this resort is great value for money in a great part of the world. 👍

We loved this place. From the moment we got to reception there was a genuine feeling that we were going to enjoy ourselves. Lisa at reception did a good job in finding us an appropriate room, in which we planned to stay one night. We actually stayed for four, using the hotel as a base for the whole Marg River area. Our studio room was clean, bright, well maintained and large. In fact we thought it was newly decorated. Pools were good, great for kids no at no time did we think the place was over crowded.

From our arrival to departure our stay at Abbey Beach Resort was perfect in every way. The resort is a perfect venue to hold a wedding with staff taking on the setup & decoration of both the ceremony & reception areas which created an effortless & memorable day for us, as all we had to do was turn up with no hassle of setting up anything. To anyone looking for the perfect venue for the perfect day we would highly recommend the services & wedding packages of Abbey Beach Resort and all the staff

From arrival to departure, our stay at Abbey Beach Resort was seamless. Perfectly situated on the shores of Abbey Beach, the resort boasts amazing views of the pristine Indian Ocean waters, two adult tennis courts, two mini courts for the kids, a squash facility, indoor pool, and two outdoor pools. These amenities make for an enjoyable time away. There are several reasons why the resort is perfectly situated, these being; because it is only 10 minute drive to the Busselton Jetty and Town Centre, 20 minutes to Dunsborough and its amazing beaches, and 40 minutes away from the Margaret River Region, world famous for its wine and fresh produce. Scattered throughout these picturesque towns are many breweries and wineries which are all family friendly and make for an unforgettable lunch, dinner or anything in between. All of these restaurants are very well priced and portions are served rather generously for what you pay, freshly caught Western Australian Spotted Emperor and chips will cost you around $24 AUD at the breweries, but worth it compared to a sausage roll or pie for $4.50. The resort itself, despite being full of families during peak season, it was very quiet and the set out of self contained apartments was ideal to cater for such guests. Everyone kept to themselves and had a great time. One of the reasons why this resort in particular is superior to all others around it, is that it offers several amenities as mentioned above that the other resorts do not. This makes it easy to go to the beaches in Dunsborough, Yallingup and Margaret River in the morning, hit up a winery or brewery for lunch and then come back to the ranch and unwind by the pool, or have an afternoon kip followed by a hit of tennis or squash. Finally, in the evening, fishing is a must, either off the bay in front of the resort, or off the Busselton Jetty, it is a must- do activity whilst down in the south. Overall, I would definitely stay here every time I come down to the region because it serves as a perfect base to explore the surrounding area, and once you've had enough, you can just come back and wander around the resort.

This is our second year at Abbey Beach. It’s a lovely resort, for couples and families. The layout is beautiful although a bit dated. Be prepared to use the stairs to get to your room though. The positives are a choice of 3 pools and a short walk to the beach. This year we really enjoyed the buffet meal at the restaurant. It was amazing. Kudos to the chef for all the tantalising flavours, it was worth the $55 per person to enjoy the flavours of so many dishes. The staff were all so helpful and courteous. The only downside is the bedding. The mattresses are of the older style and every movement by my partner could be felt. I ended up sleeping on the sofa cushions on the floor to try and get a good nights sleep. A modern king bed would have made the stay more enjoyable.
