The resort is beautiful, great location. There are some wonderful employees. My favorite were the people at the restaurant. However one day my room did not get cleaned. For the kind of money you are spending that is a disgrace. The elevators were broken 3 of the 5 days I was there. Since I have two bad knees this was disastrous for me. Then the sea turtles, I paid for a beach front room and because of the turtles you must keep your curtains closed at night, really, I paid all that money for that. One night after coming back from dinner at9 pm , I was not in the room for 60 seconds and I got a call from some snippy employee telling me to close my curtains. I said I had just arrived in the room and had not had a chance to do so yet and perhaps they should be that quick to fix the elevator. When I checked in the front desk person never explained that there is an eye in the elevator that you have to swipe your card in front of or the elevator won’t go. So after traveling all day and carrying 2 heavy suitcases, I find myself stuck on the elevator at .11pm at night until a guest came along and assisted me. Other than the hotel staff the pool table is broken and the cover ripped. The location and natural beauty of Florida make you forget the inconvenience of the hotel. The restaurant people were awesome. Stilts restaurant. The promotion department discriminated against me because I’m getting divorced. They would not allow me to go to the meeting and get rewards.
We stayed just one night and left early for the ferry to Key West. Huge room , two bath rooms which is nice because she likes to take too much time. Very pricy.
Right on the beach. Large rooms. Very quiet. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is right on the beach. One morning when walking on the beach we saw dolphins. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Pool areas were very nice. They also have activities thruout the day for children and adults. The rooms are incredible! It was like staying in an upscale 2 bedroom apt equipped with everything including washing machine & dryer. We were able to stock the refrigerator and cook some meals when we did not feel like going out. This was the most relaxing vacation I have had in a long time. The staff was very helpful. They were very attentive to your needs whether you needed something for your rooms or if needing refreshments and snacks while poolside. I went on this trip with some friends and left knowing that I will most definitely be back with my family.
