The property & rooms need updated. My room was musty. My friend changed rooms because of the cigarette smell and staff informed him that the hotel was smoke free. The staff was helpful and accommodating and the location is convenient.

Pillows were great. The internet connection was terrible. Unless I stood under the booster in the hall I couldn’t keep connected.
The pool area is nice, especially if you have kids.

Place was dirty. Sheets and towels had yellow stains. Beds were very uncomfortable and there was hair all over our sheets,pillows were flat and yellow stains. Pool area was dirty and water looked nasty. Non hotel guests could go in pool for an extra charge so it was packed.
I liked the cleanliness of the place and the rooms had a fridge and microwave. Great pool area. Had a kid pool and hot tub as well. I wasn't impressed with the continental breakfast. No healthy options except a banana. No protein options.

Convenient location for what we wanted to do in maquoketa
Hotel was clean, beds were uncomfortable, hot tub was out of order and looked like it had been for awhile. Staff was friendly and has a breakfast included.
Our stay was decent here it is easily accessible and the breakfast was good. The Wi-Fi was non-existent which forced us to use our own data. The pool area was nice except for the fact the hot tub wasn't working. We had loud guests on the floor above us so our rest was more limited. There was a construction crew laying down right outside the exit facing the highway which definitely was tacky. Great value for the cost though.
The hotel was an okay stay and fit my family needs for the weekend. The hotel was pretty clean (okay), the wi-fi wasn't working during the weekend (bummer!), but the staff were really pleasant and helpful (great!). We will stay there again because it is the only option when visiting our family in the area. I hope next time that the will not be serving expired food at breakfast and someone will vacuum around the edges of the room. Both are critical when traveling with small children.
My husband and I stayed in the whirlpool room and it was fantastic! Everyone at the hotel was nice and the amenities and facilities were clean. Pool was good size. Breakfast was yummy!
