Southern Comfort - Watch the waves from the deck

Southern comfort has a large open plan living and dining area and two decks.

Sleeping up to 6, Southern Comfort has 3 bedrooms; 2 with Queen beds and 1 with a set of bunk beds.

All bed linen provided along with one towel per person, bath mats and hand towels, and tea towels.

The house is equipped with:

Webber bbq

Smart Tv with access to your Netflix account etc

Washing Machine

Downstairs has a second standard Tv and dvd player and comfy lounge chairs with splenty of storage for bikes and boards.

Relax in open plan living and bask in the sun on the deck all while soaking up the stunning views of Inyadda beach.

You might even find it hard to peel yourself out of the house with a view like this but when you eventually do there’s plenty of things to do.


Swimming:

Lake Conjola (excellent shallow water at low tide for very young kids)

Inyadda and Manyana beach

Bendalong; Washerwoman’s and boat ramp, swim at the more protected beach and mingle with the stingrays at the boat ramp.

Surfing and boogie boarding:

Green Island

Bendalong (Smaller waves, though good)

Tennis:

at the local tennis court.

$10 an hour to book, put your name down in the book at the tennis shed at court and put your $10 in the honesty box.


Walk or ride your bike along the sealed path to the community of Bendalong. This trail is accessed from Inyadda Beach Car park, just down the hill from the house.


Coffee and dining:

“The Hub” Cafe in Bendalong opens at 7am. The cafe offers lunches, hot chips, milk shakes as well as reasonably healthy options and a decent coffee.

Cunjurong shop also has pastries and coffee (be quick though they sell out fast)

General Store is also at “The Hub” in Bendalong. Newspapers, bread and milk, fruit, veg, ice creams and much more. Beer and wine are also available here.

There is also a coffee machine at the property that takes ground coffee.

Bush walking:

Walk to Monument beach access is at North Bendalong Car park near Dees Beach. This walk will take you to Monument beach where there’s a lagoon you can swim at.
